One week…read morebefore Christmas (and four days from my entire family staying at my house for a week), Chimney Sweeps of America cancelled my reservation stating "their one and only truck broke down." After attempting to call them back later that day, they not only didn't pick up, but never returned my calls. Then...delightful Andre returned my call and was able to come to my house THAT NIGHT! I had both my chimneys assed for sweeping, and one of them fully cleaned. He was extremely kind, efficient, and communicated very clearly what he was doing and why. The pricing was actually better than some other quotes I had received, as well! Needless to say I will be going with this company and only this company going forward. Thank you London Fog and Andre!! We hope you had a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Years! -Straley/Lambert Family

Not sure what to think of this service. I originally read the good reviews on yelp and saw their…read moreBBB accreditation so I called to have a chimney sweep and full inspection on the home we just purchased this summer. Cost was $189. Wanted to be sure everything was OK before using in fall/winter. The servicemen gave a 2 hour window but showed up 39 minutes past that time and were only at the house for less than 20 minutes. My wife was home with our baby; I was at work. She called me. I got up on the roof to clean my gutters about 3 weeks after they left and walked to the chimney to take a peek. I found the chimney cap plugged with old dry leaves, some charred from past seasons, most rotten. Wish yelp had a feature to upload pictures. Certainly raised some doubts about their thoroughness. Just wanted to be certain all fire hazards were eliminated before using. I'll shop around a bit more next season. Not confident here.

I called Accurate Heating & Cooling for a second opinion, and Mitch completed a more thorough inspection, found additional areas of concern, and best of all, gave me a repair estimate that was about 40% of the first estimate. I made an appointment to have all the repairs done. On repair day, Mitch was on time, very professional, honest, highly competent, and did a great job completing all repairs and replacements (and a few extras) at the original price. I highly recommend Accurate Heating & Cooling. I've recommended the company to my neighbors, too. They will be my first call for any heating and plumbing issues.

This one however, had the best rating on BBB, best feedback on Google. Donny was efficient and understanding of the need for immediacy. Start to finish was a week. He even offered to wait for the house closing to get paid. He does not rush the selling/contract process and explains the typical steps from start to finish based on the roof style your home has. No detail was too small. No question was too mundane. He took care of the permit and inspection too. Donny is very professional and personable. I would love to use him again but glad I don't have to...that's why I give him this five star review instead!!

When they finished the roof repair they left the heating tape hanging off the roof and did not put it back on. I had to call them back out to finish the job but by then it had snowed and it couldn't be put back properly. I was selling my house so the work couldn't be fixed until this last summer so I agreed to pay $650 of the bill then even though they hadn't finished the job and the rest when they finished. It is now November, 1 year since they replaced the roof and they are now billing me the $350. In addition, when I expressed my displeasure for how this has happened, he called me entitled and is threatening to ruin my credit and take me to court. I have no problem paying what I should pay, that is not the issue. The issue is that he sent me an invoice a year later, with no photos, no explaining or any type of details. Just a bill. I never should have had to call them to do the job right that I was being charged for and $1000 for 30 minutes of work is excessive. He is now being extremely rude and refuses to take responsibility for doing such an unprofessional job. I pay my bills and I will pay this as well but I would not ever use them again or recommend them to anyone. The unprofessionalism is beyond reprehensible. How Donny is talking to me is awful
