TLDR: dentists are a dime a dozen in las vegas. Skip this one. Read their responses to negative reviews and it will tell you all you need to know and what to expect if something bad happened. Especially when they're discussing their patients' cases, breaking HIPPAA laws. I was looking onlime for a new dentist and came across this one. After reading how this office replies to every single negative review, I decided on skipping it. It's insane to see the owner or business manager respond so unprofessionally to each negative review. Continously blaming the poster for their situations, or saying the person was never a patient, or the best yet: saying the exact opposite happened, lol. I have not seen one response where ownership was taken. Apparently, they can never do wrong, and it is the patient who is always wrong. I'm just so dumbfounded right now. They mentioned in the most recent negative review, "the person came in and before they were going to leave we had a feeling they were going to write a bad review"... well, yeah, if someone has that much of a disturbing experience then yeah obviously they will write a bad review. Recognizing that someone is going to write a review in a negative manner before they actually do it means that you are aware that you are providing a bad experience. To top it off, they tried gaslighting that patient, saying their xray mouth pieces (which clearly shows from the patients pictures that it is not clean) were clean and the patient is lying. Gunk and residue on something that you place in your mouth is not hygienic. I am not a patient, so you can truthfully write that in your response this time. I'm disgusted that there are practices that exist out here like this. Take accountability, stop and think why people are having such a bad experience with your office, and stop gaslighting your patients. Also maybe take a class on customer service. It's hard to find a dentist. I went through four before I found Dr Jin and Complete Dental. Previous Dentists eventually began insisting I needed this service and that service. I've been taking care of my teeth for well over 50 years. I have had many things done involving my teeth and gums over the years. I'd know if something's not right. I get cleaning twice a year, use a Sonic Care tooth brush, I brush at least twice a day, I use the dental picks after meals, the only thing I confess I don't do regularly is floss. So it's refreshing to find a Dentist that gets right to the point. Allows me to do my cleanings twice a year and supports my decisions regarding my dental health care needs. The office is modern, has latest gizmos like X-rays that pop up on the computer so you can see them too. It's clean and staff are friendly and caring, they sent me a Christmas card last year! I love this dentist! I've been a patient for two years and I just got done with another cleaning. The staff is GREAT!! I don't really like getting my teeth cleaned, because- well, who likes having stuff scraped and drilled in their mouth??! But this is the best possible dental experience. The equipment is top of the line. When I get a cleaning, I need a hand scale with other dentists, as I'm sensitive AF, but this pizo machine (sp?) is fancy and I don't mind it. I didn't know how much the equipment could make a difference. And after spending time with this dentist, I'm not surprise he'd invest in giving his patients the best possible experience. The front office looks great however the dental exam rooms are dirty with outdated equipment from the 80's. My first sign that I may be in danger was when the dental "assistant" kept making mistakes in simple x-rays. She had to repeat every tooth and section over and over, completely inept. Never thought would say review Dentist but then again never say never. lol. The experience I had at Complete Dental was five stars for me. I was having discomfort in my mouth for few days restless sleep and just miserable. I finally said it was time go to dentist in close to twenty years of neglect. No judging. I googled union heath care providers and Complete Dental close and accepting new patients. I made appointment the next day. The day went in got initial exam. The first impression needs shout out is the waiting area is super nice! It definitely professional, clean, and relieves any stress waiting before getting work done. The entire front staff is adorable, friendly, and the process was quick sign in (do paperwork since first time) wait till call you. They took X-rays. Once Dr Jin did his examination. Soon after Michelle came in explaining the recommendations Dr Jin had not only for the discomfort but overall healthy teeth and gums. I knew the list was going be santa claus list but thankfully less then two pages. She thoroughly went over the things covered with my culinary health insurance the co pays and certain work that can only do once in five year span. The pro and cons of going with porcelain or cheaper route. She made all the language very easy to understand something I APPRECIATED cause not dentist. I know health care sometimes people look at it like car sales. Not once during the whole process when Dr Jin or Michelle going over my options. They NEVER push me get all the work done at once or feel pressure but rather felt like even if I was new patient they truly care about each patient long term health. Something almost lost in health care in general. Another point professional from the minute walked in to walked out of the office. The whole staff from everyone talked to that day. I was upfront neglecting my teeth for years. One of the reasons scared to go to anyone. The friendly staff definitely worth star by itself!!! So once decided take care of the immediate discomfort Michelle looked at the schedule and had opening later that same day, So went back got two root canals, The discomfort the gone once I was done and finally got good rest that night, Thanks to Dr Jin. After my follow up appointment I decided the Make Complete Dental our new family dentist. Went in and had my new cap placed and absolutely NO pain this time (as opposed to y old dentist). They asked if I wanted to get my teeth cleaned and I assumed I would have to set up another appointment with another person - Nope, Dentist came right in and did it himself. Because my previous dentist obviously did poor work I decided to bring my son in and what do you know- a mouth full of problems due to incompetence of previous dentist. We have a plan to get it taken care of with Complete Dental and I have complete confidence in the work they are going to do at Complete Dental. Again and again, we are in on time! Would not recommend. Save yourself the trouble & find another dentist. I've waited almost two years for a refund of services that were not only never rendered, but I didn't agree to. They charged my card for a crown & other services before I even received them, as well as billing my insurance. I had an odd feeling the minute the Dr & his staff walked in my room. I truly have no idea how this man is still in business... His bedside manner is awful, he didn't even introduce who he was when he walked into my room - I assumed he was the dentist when he had me open my mouth & even then he still was super unfriendly & gave me red flags immediately. I tried telling them which tooth was bothering me, but no one would listen, they were more interested in yanking out a crown and replacing it with a bridge(hmm I wonder why.. $$$!). I had to keep telling them that wasn't the tooth bothering me but they didn't listen. The staff is incredibly rude & his shady billing/charging process should have been reported long ago(which I am in the process of). I've never went to a dentist that charged for dental work without providing me with the billing breakdown as well as my receipt. Of course the front desk acts as though you've inconvenienced them by asking for the receipt and billing breakdown, which definitely let me know something shady was going on. The next day I ended up in excruciating pain & decided to go back to my childhood dentist before he did anymore damage. It was a disaster trying to get him to refund me for a crown I didn't even know he charged me for, as well as getting him to refund my insurance for the crown. I had to wait months for the insurance to be credited & of course he not only dragged his feet but was super unpleasant about it. He took an already uncomfortable situation and made it as awful as possible. From arguing about the refund to my insurance(that he should have never billed in the first place) to my refund for what I paid out of pocket(close to $500), he made sure to make it as less pleasant as possible. I went to complete dental about 2 weeks ago for an X-ray and cleaning. The staff was fine, but not too friendly. After my X-rays were complete, Dr. Jin came in the room and didn't actually say a word to me, seemed a bit rushed, and just mentioned that I had some cavities and left. They didn't give me a cleaning and told me to come back another day for a more in-depth cleaning. I came back a week later for my cleaning and to be honest I wasn't impressed with their tools. It all seemed a bit older and out dated. Again, all Dr. Jin said to me was that I was a bit sensitive, cleaned my teeth, then left the room. After those 2 experiences I decided I no longer wanted to go back to get the work that was needed done. They didn't do anything "wrong" per say, but both times I was there I felt more like a burden; with the dr not explaining to me what was wrong with my teeth,and what needed to be done, but more of a "you have a cavity, here's your bill". I ended up getting a copy of my X-rays and going to another dentist, who was more personable and took the time to talk to me about my teeth, in a building with more newer tools. Complete Dental was average. Older tools but still fine. Average staff, but not too friendly. Not a bad place to go, but also not the best. Dr. Jin is a poor-mannered incompetent dentist. He is rude and argumentative. He feels he knows more about the patient's history than the patient. He missed an obvious tooth that I need pulled and mis-diagnosed with regard to implant treatment. Two other dentists had different , Correct opinions about treatment for me.I am an International businessman, a published author whose book was shown in PLAYBOY, May 2007 issue, am cerifued in Criminology from having had that as one of my majors long ago; I can read xrays. The staff is so friendly I feel comfortable with them handling my dental needs. I just got a wisdom tooth pulled out and it was very fast. The doctor is very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing. Also, I forgot one of the 2 prescriptions that they gave me and they really helped me out. It was probably a pain to do so, but they called my Pharmacy to give the prescription over the phone. But seriously I went to another dental that starts with an AC and it was horrible from the start but I called complete dental on a Friday afternoon trying to get an emergency tooth pulled they had no opening for months she fit me in the next day at lunch time!!!! Went in to check in what's going in my mouth since I haven't been in a loooooong time... walked in the office and notice how nicely it was decorated... front next ladies were nice... didn't have to wait long to get to the back. Went back had x-rays done.... Within a few mins Dr. Jin came in and saw my x-rays and literally just said "u have gum disease if u waited 10 more yrs u would've lost all your teeth" and left I was like "well damn"... a few mins later a billing girl came and and explained to me what I needed done but in my head I'm hearing "blah blah blah" from shock that I have gum disease. But the way she explained wasn't cleared so I'd asked again and I just felt like she was annoyed... she explained the cost well long story short! I opted for a deep cleaning on one side of my mouth and extraction of one tooth... mine you I'm paying $360 for one side of my mouth for the deep cleaning.... Let's just say that Dr.Jin was a man of little words... he finished and didn't say thank you or anything .... Wished I took my hard earn monies somewhere else!!!! I've been coming to this office for a year and decided to finally write a review after seeing that some patients put bad reviews on here. And let me tell you something, this office is AMAZING. The 3 front desk receptionists are incredibly pretty and friendly. Usually other offices have mean receptionists that ruin your day! And the Doctor is so trust worthy and funny. I recommend this office to everyone! My teeth feel great after seeing Dr Jin. I was Dr. Brennan's patient for about 10 years, and not once did I have a cavity according to him. I thought that I had a few, but I trusted him enough to tell me the truth. But when Dr. Jin examined me he taught me of all the decay I had. I was upset that Dr. Brennan never told me that my teeth were in such bad shape. I feel relief that Dr Brennan retired. I'm glad that Dr. Jin took over his patients. He is incredibly smart and I can see why all his patients always come out happy. He is a good educator and tells you the truth! If you have a question he will listen and explain everything to you. After looking through a list of providers on my insurance, I started comparing them to Yelp reviews. Bad reviews won't necessarily scare me away (since some people only look for things to complain about) but will take heed to reviews of people being hurt or ripped off. This office is very professional, friendly, immaculately clean and has ZERO smells! I have major anxiety over dental office smells. Dr. Jin is super sweet, extremely gentle (small fingers), fast and has chosen the perfect career for himself. I made my appointment on zocdoc for Dr. Jin at complete dental. When I arrived I was greeted by his staff and was given a laminated new patient form which is a great way of saving paper. I made my appointment at 11 A.M. and was taken to the back office with a tech by 11:15. Once Dr. Jin came into the room, he smiled and introduced himself in a very professional manner. I've been going to see Dr. Jin for the past 3 months and have had to get quite a lot of work done. They are quick, efficient and super nice. My first visit took a little while because I had to fill out paperwork. Its common sense that you cant be seen until you're done with the paperwork if they don't know my records! But for all my other visits I'm always being seen within 5-10 minutes of arriving. Fillings and crowns are made a little more comfortable with TV's in front of the chair. Dr. Jin is always very friendly and funny and so is the staff which makes going to the dentist a lot easier. Overall, I would definitely recommend Complete Dental and I plan on continuing to go here in the future for all my work and cleanings! read more
