Gretchen, my masseuse, was informed by Dr. Blake of my many issues. Gretchen surpassed my expectations. She consistently asked if I was ok, feeling anything unusual, or creating any radiating pains. She went deep, but not as deep as she could have since it was the first time. The second time she went deeper always asking if I was ok. I had been going to physical therapy before I started massage therapy. I just came went to PT tonight. She could tell a remarkable difference because of Gretchen's abilities.

I went to this business with a little and occasional knee pain. I have confirmed osteoarthritis in…read morethat knee. It was on a special, something like $49 or $79, I forgot which but not much. I was looking for exercises I could do to strengthen the knee. That's all I wanted. They took X-rays and told me the other knee that I have no problems with was worse! They never mentioned the special and got me for over $500. They told me all the great things they were going to do. They called it physical therapy not chiropractic. They said they could have a therapist stretch my neck. I don't have problems with my neck but I thought a little neck massage by a therapist would feel good. So, when I got there for my first visit, they showed me a leg brace they wanted to fit me for. It was huge and covered most of the leg from the knee down. For what, occasional knee pain? I said no thanks. Then I went for "physical therapy". It was run by 2 young disinterested guys who talked to each other and obviously didn't care about the job. They were definitely not therapists of any kind. Next I went for a few minutes to the supposed real therapists and I thought, oh good, now he's going to massage my neck. No way! He never laid a hand on me. Only did something with a board that I can't even describe because I don't know what it did. Nothing as far as I could tell. Next I went to the nurse who would give me a gel shot in the knee cap. She did this and at my second visit gave me some little shots around the knee cap. The next day I went to the mall and had so much pain in my knee that I was limping down bad I had to go home. That was my over $500 experience with this place. I was worried about their diagnosis of the knee I had no trouble with, that the knee cap was out of joint, so I went back to the real doctors at Northwest Community hospital and got a real unskewed xray and they said that knee was fine. I quit Body Works after 3 visits and asked for the return of my money. I had been told that my insurance and Medicare would pay most of it. Now they told me, well it's not really physical therapy, it's billed under chiropractic and Medicare doesn't usually pay for that, but we will see. Now after months of reaching out to them, they finally told me that after 3 visits my $500 plus dollars was all used up and that I owed them even more but they weren't going to collect it! How nice of them! So go to Body Works if you want to see a real scam at work!

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with "Dr." Kent's practice. I only saw Kent 2-3 times,…read morebut after my last visit, his chiropractic "adjustments" significantly worsened my hip and lower back issues. This has required two months (and counting) of intensive physical therapy multiple times a week to recover. What's even more troubling is Kent's claim that my pain was linked to "gut health," and that he believed it was causing inflammation--completely ignoring the clear structural issues revealed in my x-rays and MRIs. This assertion is contrary to the verified physical damage diagnosed by true medical doctors and specialists (information which he was provided). Instead of providing relief, his adjustments left me in worse pain, further limited my mobility, and caused me to incur substantial out-of-pocket expenses for corrective treatment. To make matters worse, every visit came with pressure to buy his supplements--including overpriced vegan protein--which he heavily promoted as part of my "treatment." I ended up spending $100 on products that were completely unnecessary and had zero positive impact. It felt like snake oil rather than genuine care. I came into this treatment with an open mind, but my experience only reinforced skepticism about the pseudoscience often associated with chiropractic care. Kent's approach not only failed to help me but actively caused harm to my health and finances. This has been an expensive and frustrating ordeal. I strongly urge others to think twice before seeking care here. I hope "Dr." Kent seriously reconsiders the harm his methods may be causing and adjusts his approach to prioritize patient well-being over profit. Edit: Dr. Kent is already responding , attempting to negate my experience and shift the blame onto me by stating that I told him I was "going a different direction." To clarify, the "different direction" I took was leaving his office because his treatment left me in worse pain than when I first arrived. His response reflects his unwillingness to take responsibility for the harm caused. When I had messaged him about the pain I was in that was worsening after his "adjustment," his response was "sorry you flamed up". Whatever that means. When care leaves you in worse condition, it isn't good care.
