This location was quick to answer my call and get me in for a windshield replacement earlier than originally anticipated. Replacement and calibration was completed in a couple of hours and the technician Brian made sure not to scratch my paint by wiping down the car with abrasive cloths. It's good to know that these folks pay attention to that level of detail. A+ to Brian and the office staff at this location.

This is not the easiest windshield to replace, which is exactly why I chose a large nationwide glass company. I expected the experience and resources of Safelite to give us the best possible outcome. Instead, the installation had multiple problems almost immediately. The molding was already pulling away at both lower corners, and the upper molding did not properly meet the existing weather stripping, leaving portions exposed. The next day it rained. When the windshield wipers were turned on, they came loose, dropped against the glass, and screeched across the newly installed windshield. We then discovered damage to the new glass, including an impact mark/crack near the center where the wiper arm appears to have struck it. I opened a warranty claim. Safelite sent a representative to my home to inspect the vehicle, requested additional photographs, created a warranty work order, and scheduled corrective service for October 1. I was later told that Safelite technicians do not touch the wipers as a matter of policy. That explanation does not match what actually happened. My Ring camera recorded the technicians removing the wipers during the windshield installation. On the morning of the scheduled warranty service, the location manager apparently decided the windshield claim would no longer be honored. I was not contacted by phone or email to explain that the decision had changed. Instead, another technician was sent to my home to install replacement wiper blades on the already damaged windshield and tell me that the windshield itself would not be replaced. I then attempted to speak directly with the people involved and was told that both the original technician and the location manager were unavailable in meetings. I was also told I would need to schedule another appointment and bring the vehicle to the Queen Creek store. At that point Safelite had already inspected the vehicle at my home, reviewed photographs, opened a warranty work order, and scheduled corrective service. I still have not been given a reasonable explanation for what another inspection is supposed to establish. This was not a complaint about a minor cosmetic issue. The installation left improperly fitted exterior molding, damaged wipers, and damage to a brand-new windshield. Replacing the wiper blades does not resolve the damage to the glass or the installation problems. I chose Safelite specifically because I believed a nationwide company would be the safer choice for a more difficult windshield replacement. Instead, I am approximately $300 out of pocket with a newly installed windshield that is already damaged and molding that was not properly fitted. Mistakes can happen during any repair. What matters is how a company responds after the problem is reported. In this case, I received conflicting explanations, a warranty appointment that was reversed the morning of service, no direct communication about that reversal, and no resolution of the actual damage. I am currently awaiting a callback from the district manager and will update this review based on how Safelite ultimately handles the matter.
