We chose the new tires, the time estimate was 1 hour and to come back at 12:30 and we went for lunch and the car was ready early and I needed new wipers and they called and asked if I would like them replaced and they did this for me. I had a 5+ hour drive home that same day and specifically requested that the wheels be balanced and the one bad tire be replaced. Initially, they declined to do what I requested. After speaking with my dad over the phone, they agreed to replace a tire. However, once I got home and we removed all four wheels, we discovered that the tire they replaced was not the tire that actually had the issue. They had also added a significant amount of wheel weights to the problematic wheel without explaining this to me. All four of my Michelin tires had been balanced within the past year and previously only had a small amount of weight on each wheel, so seeing that many weights added to a single wheel was concerning and appeared to indicate an issue with that tire. What was most frustrating was the lack of communication. The staff appeared to focus on some existing cosmetic damage to one of the rims and suggested that may have been the cause of the vibration. They also informed me that the problem would not be fully resolved, which left me wondering why the actual source of the vibration was not addressed. The steering wheel shake disappeared for roughly 350 miles after I left, then returned. I understand they were likely trying to help me get home safely, but I left feeling that my concerns were dismissed and that the root cause of the problem was never properly addressed. For an emergency situation where I was relying on their expertise, the communication and diagnosis were disappointing. I do want to add that the staff were very friendly, professional, and quick to help. Given that I was dealing with an unexpected issue while traveling, I appreciated that they got my vehicle into the shop right away and worked to get me back on the road as quickly as possible. My disappointment is not with how I was treated personally, but with the communication and the fact that the underlying issue was not properly identified or resolved.

However, one of my tires need to be replaced this week. So we set it up with Discount Tires to install all 4 of the tires we bought from Rhine. The problem was that one of the tires had a bad side wall and we had to buy a replacement tire from Discount Tires. I called Rhine the next morning and spoke to Al Kiether in sales. I did not have my original invoice # but I explained to him the situation and told him the date the tires were bought along with the cost based on my credit card receipt. He said, he would look into it and get back to me. By 4:30pm that day Sara Evraets called me back saying Al asked her to follow up on this with me. She told me that she can replace the tire. I explained, that we already replaced the tire through Discount Tires and would appreciate a refund for the cost of the tire. She said she could process it back to our credit card that we used to pay with it and just asked that I send her the Discount Tires receipt for their records. I sent her the receipt that night and by the next morning before I even signed on for work, Sara had emailed me saying the refund will be processed that day and it should reflect on my credit card within the week. This company provided some of the best customer service I have come across!!! They were quick and very pleasant to work with!!! Very disappointing experience with Custom Offsets…read more I purchased a set of Blaque Diamond BD-O102 wheels through Custom Offsets. After installation, my truck developed severe vibration at highway speeds, particularly above 65 mph. I have already spent approximately $400 out of pocket having a professional shop mount, balance, remount, and attempt to rebalance the setup. The shop has been unable to get the assemblies to balance properly. They keep requiring additional weight, and the severe vibration remains. I contacted Custom Offsets expecting them to stand behind what they sold me. Instead of accepting a return or providing a reasonable solution, I was told to go back to a shop and have the wheels/tires mounted and balanced again, meaning I would have to spend even more money trying to diagnose a product that already isn't functioning properly. My biggest issue isn't simply that there is a problem with the wheels. Products can have defects. It's how the problem has been handled after the sale. I've already spent hundreds of dollars trying to resolve it and provided an invoice showing the work performed. I don't think a customer should have to keep paying different shops over and over before a company stands behind the products it sells. At this point I'm pursuing the matter through Katapult, which financed/leased the wheels, rather than continuing to spend my own money on repeated balancing attempts.
