Instead, the driver said he could pick it up from our house. That was a big plus. They delivered the car on time and in good condition. Monica, who coordinated the move, was there to answer questions along the way. There was some confusion over the name of the trucking company that picked up the car (It was LVIV, not moveauto). We had some questions about the timing and logistics surrounding the pick-up, and she resolved them. The drivers were friendly, courteous, and efficient. The irony is that they had underpriced the shipment by $1,000, which is likely why no carrier accepted the job in the first place. Then they expected me to pay even more to fix their mistake. I genuinely felt bad for the customer service representative because she wasn't the one who caused the problem. The carrier arrived on time, and we were told the car would arrive the next morning. However, the dispatcher couldn't provide an estimate for the arrival time. She said she would call 2 hours before the car arrived. She called later that day to tell us the car wouldn't be delivered until the next morning, and again said she couldn't give us an estimate for arrival. If the carrier had been able to give us an accurate window for delivery, I would have given Advantage Auto Movers 5 stars. Andre, the manager, provided excellent customer service, always immediately answering calls and courteously answering all our questions. I would definitely use his service again, and recommend it to friends.
