I was hesitant to call Dr Clark because she only had one review here, so after my positive experience with her, under the most terrible conditions ever, I thought it was only fair to add another review to her profile. A few days ago, my nearly 20 year old cat, who had been my child since he was a tiny kitten, hit rock bottom in his long battle with kidney failure. I knew that if I didn't make the choice that nearly all furrchild parents dread, euthanasia, that very soon pain and misery would follow, and that opinion was far worse than the other. I couldn't bear my baby to suffer any more than he already was. But, he had always been scared of the car and hated the vet. He cried the entire time in the car every time and even tried to hide under the towel in his carrier. So, I didn't want the final hour of his life to be spent scared and stressed. I had heard of in-home euthanasia on a random website about feline kidney failure and I knew that if it was possible (meaning in my area and not cost prohibitive) that would be ideal. If my baby was not going to pass away gently at home naturally, it could at least still happen at home, on his favorite spot in our bed, with my husband and I cuddling him. I called Dr Clark when I knew without a doubt that if something was not done soon, he would begin to suffer. We had a lovely conversation where she made me feel quite comfortable and she scheduled the dreaded appt for later that same day. As the day went on, kitty continued to get worse and worse. I began to worry that something bad might happen even before our appt, so I called her back and explained my fears, and she worked it out so that she could get to us even sooner. I'll spare the details, but having Dr Clark perform in-home euthanasia, rather than dragging my poor sick boy to the vet, was probably the best decision I ever made. It was the most caring decision I could have made for him. He was not stressed out at all. He was peaceful and relaxed. He was the him that I knew. We were able to share quality time right up to the second he passed away, which I know would have never happened in a vet situation, because he would have been too freaked out to just be his sweet loving self. It all happened so peacefully that I couldn't even believe it really happened. I couldn't believe it could be that gentle. He just drifted off to sleep like any other time, in the same spot he always slept. Dr Clark's bedside manner was lovely. She took time to get to know my baby and even kissed his head. He seemed completely at ease with her. Dr Clark gave my husband and I plenty of time to cuddle him before the single shot (which he didn't even seem to feel). I didn't feel rushed at all. I never felt like it was a service and it felt very personal. Even the way she spoke and her presence was soothing. The decision to put a beloved furrchild to sleep is an awful decision to have to consider, but I strongly believe that in-home euthanasia makes it less awful, and much kinder and less traumatic for our furrkid's and us. And, it's NOT cost prohibitive. Not at all. I found another website that offered in-home services that seemed much more about the money, and it turned me off right away. Dr. Clark was not at all like that and I found her price to be quite reasonable and I found her to be an angel. If you have to make this terrible choice, I very strongly recommend her. And, if she is not available in your area, I still strongly recommend in-home care. I only wish my other kitty who passed away two years ago would have been able to pass so gently. read more

I wish I could give 6 stars. I absolutely love Dr. Clark. She's timely, reasonable on prices, and very caring of our animals. I called her to come do a checkup on all of my seep and goats, and she caught a bunch of things I hadn't noticed, which ultimately resulted in saving the life of one of my goat which I had no idea was showing the onset of pneumonia. I am new to farm life, and one the services she offers is an on-site instructional course on how to properly care for the animals that you have. I couldn't recommend her more to anyone needing veterinary services. read more

Dr. Clark is absolute perfection. Our 12 year old boxer/ridgeback mix was ready to cross that rainbow bridge. Our animals are our family and it is devastating when you have to make the decision to put a loved one to sleep. Dr. Clark made this experience beautiful for us and our boy. He loved her right away, and so did we. We recommend Dr. Clark wholeheartedly if you are looking for a loving, compassionate doctor and a peaceful experience. Dr. Clark's practice is appropriately named. She's not only an excellent vet, but clearly cares about the animals she treats. Too, she respects the owners and keeps them "in the loop," so that they can support their pets' recovery and ongoing well-being. Dr. Clark also strives to make care an affordable option, helping me find ways to support my animals' health without completely draining my finances. What a blessing that is! It's fairly rare to find a knowledgeable camelid (llama and alpaca) vet, much less one who has all those wonderful qualities we look for in any healthcare provider: expertise, compassion, empathy, and an open mind to listen and learn from each experience. read more

When it is your pets time, please do your pet and yourself right by calling Dr. Clark. Without a doubt, I know my pet would have preferred it this way. There is something to be said about doing it at a place where your pet is most familiar/comfortable. When I finally made the painstaking​ decision to use this type of service, I did not want to wait for​ days. Dr. Clark was there for me. She understood. I love my dogs so much and she helped me emotionally and spiritually during a very hard time for my Mastiff "Ash". Several months after Ash passed I got a new Mastiff puppy. It was Dr MaryPride that took care of her till she was safe enough to go to a veterinary office. I can honestly say, I love MaryPride! My best friend needed to have her dog Euthanized. We both explored all options. Finally we found Dr.Mary Pride Clark and decided that at home procedure would be best. I have had many animals put down in my lifetime. It is always painful beyond belief. Dr.Mary, exceeded all expectations. It was late and cold outside and she was in no hurry. She went the extra ten yards with the medications that she uses to ensure the dog was calm and extremely comfortable, before giving him the last medication. I might add that she greeted the dog with big tasty biscuits. Her compassion and care for the animals she treats is truly from the heart and second to none!!! She even checked the cats ears. My husband and I had to make the very difficult decision to put down our beloved dog the other day. After much internet research I came upon Dr. Mary Pride Clarks wonderful Yelp reviews. She came to the house and was extremely empathetic to our situation with our senior dog. She was the calm to our storm that day as my husband and I wept over and consoled our dog in her final moments. She was very professional and compassionate throughout the entire process. Our little girl who happened to be a 70lb pitbull was terrified of the vet. We knew long ago that if we ever had to make this heartbreaking decision to put her down we would do it in the comfort of our home. We made it as comfortable for our Sasha as possible; she was able to wear her favorite sweater and lay on clean linens (she loved laying on freshly laundered clothes). Her final moments were surrounded by the people and things she loved most in this world. We have contacted Dr. Clark for two times for euthanasia of our dogs. Not only has she exceeded all expectations, but the actual passing was as calm and peaceful as can be. She was fantastic and our dogs were able to pass on with minimal stress, no pain, and no anxiety. My lovely boy died with dignity and stress free and I will forever be grateful to Dr. Clark. I will always support Dr. Clark and will never go to the vet for euthanasia unless there is no other option. Most terrific service ever. We recently had to put our dog to sleep and it was important to us to be able to have her be comfortable in her own home during her passing. Making the decision to euthanize our 12 year old Shepard was agonizing. He could barely walk and going to the vet was very stressful for him. We weighed the options of taking him to the vet or calling Dr. Clark and decided that an in home euthanasia would be the best for him. Dr. Clark was wonderful. She spent time getting to know Bear and loved him. She also helped us to feel that this was the right decision. The whole process was very comforting and our Bear was comfortable and peaceful to his last breath. Dr. Clark was a little more expensive than a trip to the vet but it was worth every penny and a perfect decision for our family. I highly recommend Dr. Clark. She has great compassion for animals and their families who are dealing with a great loss. read more
