We recently used Majestic Limo for a 2:40AM PT pickup from downtown Napa to SFO for my in-laws that flew in from the East Coast, and the pick up & drop off were seamless. (This is my second time using this service for a Napa airport transfer). Loved the confirmation the day before and the communication leading up to the weekend. Highly recommend!

Where exactly do I begin? I booked a van from Kosmo whilst waiting for a flight out of SEATAC- I…read morewaited to book until I and my four coworkers had made it to the gate. I was told by the receptionist that we could hire a van to drive us from the Oakland airport to our workplace, 40 miles north, for 195 dollars. Seems a bit much, but reasonable. I booked the van and caught the flight. I was greeted at the Oakland baggage claim by our driver (well dressed, prompt) and after we got all 16 of our checked bags we headed off. Most commercial transportation services get curb-side privileges at the airport- not Kosmo, we had to drag our 16 checked bags and 13 carry-ons with us into the parking lot, where our van awaited. The driver did not know how to get to our destination- after watching him get onto an interstate going the WRONG DIRECTION we began verbally prompting him on how to get where we were headed. As I watched the driver text while heading up the 680 in Monday afternoon holiday traffic, I wondered if perhaps he was an ex-con. The driver also reminded me of a 16 year old, because the entire time we were either accelerating or decelerating- no constant speed. Once at our office, the driver asked if we had a restroom, and then helped himself to a 10 minute potty-break. Call me old-fashioned, but I avoid pooping in my client's office. Once the van left and things calmed down, I checked my email and found the receipt for my $300 van ride. I've been on some expensive-ass van rides before, and they had little in common with this experience. After trying to clear the matter up via both phone and email, I was emailed by the manager who lied to me about what I was told the service would cost, and told me to politely f%^& off. Unfortunately for this manager/owner, my company (as do most companies with 300,000+ employees) has "in-house counsel." Is a defrauding a government agency charge really worth $105? Looks like Kosmo is going to find out... Bottom line: ex-con/ex-lax drivers, very dishonest business. Steer clear.

They showed up on time and arrived at the destinations on time too. I even had to make a few last minute changes (start time and destination) and Stephanie was very willing to accommodate. One of the main downfall of our wedding sites was that we needed to find a shuttle to transport…read moreguests to the site, as there was no on-site parking. We decided to go with Capitol Limo since their prices were competitive, and they were one of the few companies to offer a 35-passenger bus close to our budget. However, they were the main source of headache for our wedding day!! The morning of our big day, 4 hours before the event, the driver calls my now-husband and says, "Hey, I'm your limo driver for the wedding today. They switched drivers last minute so I'll be your driver. Do you know where I pick up the shuttle?" To which my very distraught husband said, "Dude, man, I'm the CLIENT. I don't have your shuttle." Click. So at 2pm, one of our groomsmen goes to the shuttle pick up site after we spend the time beforehand freaking out to our wedding coordinator. No shuttle arrives. Guests are starting to pile up, about 40 guests to be specific, but no shuttle. Finally, the shuttle arrives... and we find out that 30 minutes later, it still hadn't arrived to the ceremony site. (Mind you, the ceremony site is about 7 minutes driving from the shuttle pick up site.) The driver got lost. Yes, in the 0.6 mile distance from points A to B, the driver got lost. With 30 of our guests. Other peeves of ours: - reservation was never validated with us until the day before - inconsistent communication - non-responsive by email, and difficult to reach by phone Don't choose them. One of our guest had a town car pick them up from the airport and it was a bit dated, had some problems getting up the huge driveway at the venue....upon pick-up for their return to the airport Capitol showed up in a brand new stretch limo to make up for it. Overall there are many business' to choose from in this category - all charging about the same price, I chose Capitol simply because they run the business around the corner from where we live and thought it best to give the biz to a neighbor. They exceeded all expectations.
