We, of course, were masked. I asked her if she was going to put on her mask and she said she was not. She said it was "emotional" for her and it was also "on principle". We hesitated but were going to go ahead and use her service because we had a $100 gift certificate for framing. However, as I was unfurling our art, she told us, before you unwrap it, you should know that I'm booked until January, and she quickly informed us that there were several other framers in the area that we might prefer to go to. So we left. Our main concern in this encounter is that she refused to wear a mask to protect her customers. We just wanted to let people know to figure this into your decision to patronize this business. If she wasn't wearing a mask, we wonder what other protective behaviors she may also be ignoring.
