Very irresponsible. Had a new patient appt cancelled. Said someone would call the day before to verify info. They didn't call. Day of virtual appt, dr never called. I call them to find out why and they spelled my name wrong and couldn't verify info but never called to tell me. Then I tried again and the same thing happened only this time they said they had my birthday wrong and couldn't verify, bur never called to tell me again. So I said I will go somewhere else. Now I get a call once a week to confirm appta they are making without my knowledge. I used to come here years ago and the customer service was horrible. I even was talking to one of my friends that was also a patient here and she said the front desk treated her so bad she ended up switching providers that same day. If you need to get them on the phone, good luck with that because they're hard to reach. Besides that, I felt like it was all very transactional and they didn't mind starting 30 minutes later than your scheduled appointment. My family member contacted their insurance to make an appointment with a physician ( not a nurse practitioner) in person. A list of available in person availability psychiatrist were given to her. She was given Compass Health as an option. She called and spoke to Asia; was given an appointment for a August 28, 2024 . She received multiple text messages to confirm and remind. Then was cancelled the day prior due to my family member " being scheduled for an in person visit but they only offer Zoom on Wednesday. "My family member called them and they rescheduled for Wednesday September 4, 2024; she again verified that it be in person and it was verified that it would be. Knowing that my family member is in desperate need of this appointment I called to ask why the initial appointment was even made, knowing that the request for in person visit was imperative. They stated that the "NURSE PRACTITIONER was not in that day." Nurse practitioner? After getting my family member on the phone to verify I was allowed to speak to someone about her APPOINTMENT; I asked why was an appointment made for a day that would not allow for in person visit AND with a nurse practitioner when it was very clear on initial call that an IN PERSON visit WITH a DOCTOR was requested. The answer was " I'm not sure". The appointment that was made for September 4, 2024 was made with a nurse practitioner and not a doctor...I was told on that call that "the doctor only sees in person patients on Thursdays". So I asked why was the second appointment made, again..with no doctor? Answer was " I'm not sure". I reiterated the very first request of 1. In person and 2. with a doctor, NOT a nurse practitioner. Appointment made for September 5, 2024 at 2pm. Multiple text messages were again sent out as a reminder of the time and date. Today is September 4, 2024 and my family member received a call just before 5pm from a Casey stating on voicemail that Dr. Stein would not be in this week and they had to reschedule for next Thursday. (Today is Wednesday...why the call less than 24hrs prior) I am now on hold with Compass health for 20 minutes ( I called at 4:55pm; google states they close at 5;30pm)..I have yet to speak to any human being. This family member is in great need of this appointment that should have been conducted a week ago, and now needs to wait another week ( thats two weeks). How are we guaranteed this game of make an appointment and cancel is not going to play out again next week? Many doctor offices have a cancellation policy, why is the reverse respectfully not provided to the patient? Both patient and myself have to schedule ahead to make the time for this visit; what do others do if they have to take the time off of work? Overall, this is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable and unprofessional. I expect this service at a run down five and dime, not a professional medical practice. My overall experience with this company has not been very good. The phone calls are always being missed. I sit and wait for hours. No one calls me each month. And then when I wanna get my medication's, it seems that that's all a mess as well I went without medication's for over 2 1/2 weeks and went through really severe withdrawals, which didn't help me at all especially being that I'm having panic attacks and going through a lot of anxiety since the death of my mom and my dog this past year. I don't give about a review this time because I had a better experience over the phone with Dominique Alseir than I have had in the past. She is a wonderful lady and it's probably not her fault that a lot of these things fall through the cracks but I will say that She did try harder this time to help me out. And I also received my medication's for the first time the very next day, which was very nice because I was having a lot of anxiety thinking that I wasn't going to receive them again. So I just hope that things keep going this way. Unfortunately I was never offered a survey went ahead the bad service these past several months so I don't wanna give a one which is what I would have given up because this visit was better. Genuinely the worst experience I've had with a psychiatrist. No communication on what medications/SSRIs are and how they should be taken. A NP for Dr. Stein continually switched my medication, did not help with the ADHD-evaluation process, and refused to provide documentation for a mental health emergency, etc. Do not go to this practice. read more

Compass Health Systems The policy for the pre screening the day before the appointment (by phone) is cruel. They do not make appointments for the day before. I do not know when they will call. I work so I cannot always answer the phone. If you do not do the pre-screening, they either cancel your next day appointment or call you late. I take off from work for these appointments. This is for psych medicine refills. If I do not get the phone call I do not get my meds! Appointment availability is scarce. I schedule months ahead of time. Appointments are done by phone (telehealth). They never give time if you have a concern. Conversations last about three minutes. They are greedy and do not really help. This medical group is horrible. I had my first and last appointment on 3/14; Rebecca Brewer said she was ordering bloodwork on 3/14 and to fast to get my blood drawn on 3/15. We had a tornado in Florissant on 3/14, but I still fasted to go to the Quest office in Florissant to find out they had no power and suggested I go to Mercy, 25 minutes away. Once I was in the back at Quest, I was informed there was no order. I emailed them on 3/15 to see why my order was not submitted--no response within 72 business hours from 3/15. I decided to call and left a voicemail, thinking I would get a response from the St. Peter's location the same day or within 72 business hours, but no. I tried a different method to contact someone in the office, and they tried, too, and could not get someone to pick up the phone. The last time I called, I asked about the order and was told the order was sent on 3/14. I fasted all day during work to get my bloodwork done, but still, no order was found. I just gave up deciding to stay with my original PCP, 45 minutes away from the house. It is unacceptable to be a medical practice and unable to get anyone in the office to call you back or respond to emails within a reasonable time. The office finally decided to respond to my email on 4/4, so I was not a happy new patient. I just told them to send me my final bill and never to contact me again. There is absolutely no management and they dont even have a number to complain to. They always have some bullshit excuse. Compass Health is the worst provider I have ever seen. It is nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone if you need to contact them. They also do not respond to messages left and unfortunately leaving a message is the only option when you call. They do not respond if you put a request in the patient portal. I called several times after our insurance changed to inquire as to why I was being charged a different amount from what was shown on my EOB from my insurance. They cancelled by appointment without telling me that it would be cancelled because I would not put a card on file during the pre-screen for my appointment. Prior to that I had them charging my card and ended up having a credit with them for close to $300. It took several calls to get that issue sorted out. Over all dealing with Compass is a nightmare avoid them if you value customer service at a basic level. read more

IF I Could give less stars I would . The office staff is the worst I have ever had to deal with. They have tried multiple times to overcharge us . They keep you waiting a minimum of one to hours for an appointment you scheduled . This isn't an isolated incident . It occurred every single visit my daughter had for over a year. Awful experience all around. Here are the facts: the wait time to see the Dr. is 1-2 hrs. On my 1st appt I waited 2 hrs and I was seen by a PA, not the Dr. whom I made the appointment with. Multiple patients are booked for the same time slot and the Dr. usually arrives late, that explains the incredible wait times. The front desk staff is incredibly rude. Also, it is very difficult to reach the office by phone, wait time on the phone ~15 minutes. After waiting almost 1.5 hours never got to see the doctor, only a PA who prescribed me a new medicine and sent it to a pharmacy they are dealing with and not my preferred pharmacy. Also the prescription was incorrect so the insurance company refused to cover it. I called the doctor's office back 3 times to explain that I cannot get the prescription and the receptionist lied to me that she will let the doctor know. It never happened. First let me say neglect from a psychiatrist has major consequences on a patient as it did on me. I was a victim of candace eagle and dr sohban. It started in 2014 and ended in 2018 when i was dropped by the practice addicted to benzodiazepines thanks to this practice and left on my own to detox off five different medications because the doctor couldn't handle my mood swings from my depression.they also stuck it to me by telling my insurance company i was drug seeking behavior to make sure i could not get any other psychiatrist on my plan. Being it was March and i had market place insurance i left to detox on my own. That was not all of it. I lost my family my friends and my finances. I was not in my right mind. I had been scammed by a romance scammer a month later that had i been on my meds I would have known the difference and known that a famous rock star would not have asked me to buy 35 iphones and ship them to texas to have them customized with a wedding photo and I would have known it was a scam. I unfortunately am now reeping the consequences of it being sued by every creditor and not being believed because of the drug seeking behavior being put on my record. I cannot get employment because of several wage garnishments from these creditors but i was a victim of a crime thar stemmed from medical negligence from this facility. Had i not been taken off 4mg klonipin, 200 mg lamictal, 20mg lexapro, abilify, and lunesta 3mg. I was taken off these drug's abruptly cold turkey. No help did it on my own with no guidance whatsoever. I had seizures i didn't know where or who i was I hallucinated. I almost died at the hands of compass health systems. I am now just starting to be able to realize what is real and what is fake from my ordeal. I was addicted to drugs from them and i never even smoked marijuana or drank anything harder than a pina colada. I always passed their drug tests yet i was drug seeking because i wanted to be tapered off the psychiatric medication like a person and treated like a person instead of a piece of trash.
