First off, she said she had a job offer for $26/HR cus she remembered about a bullshit side note she put along to help me find a job I guess, & then bring up my bad review on Yelp saying some shit like she didn't appreciate it and it wasn't her idea of cutting me off from a previous job I was wrking with that goes thru them. But why would you bring up a job offer AND my Yelp review at the same time AND call me on a block number? Like that's real unprofessional, and I ain't gotta be professional, they just a temp agency. It didn't make sense until it hit me, she was just really concerned about the 1 star rate and bad review on Yelp lmao. Guess Yelp is serious when it comes to business that never earned any stars or good reviews lol. I tried so hard to listen but driving and being on the phone is hard especially when 106 kmel is playing Cut it by yung dolph on the radio, you can't help but play it louder & sing the song along in your head. She didn't even let me say a word while she was blabbering on about who tf knws what she was talking about. But anyways and in other words, I'm assuming that she did not want to work with me and basically saying I'm cut off frm their company which is definitely a blessing because I'm now making 6k a month. Thanks for the cut off GGS!! And if you want to call and complain about this Yelp review, next time unblock your number. If I can rate this as no stars... I would definitely! HORRIBLE STAFFING. RUDE AF. The lady in the front, I believe her name is Morgan, very skinny like a twig is the most unprofessional receptionist I have ever encountered with. I received a call back from Penny of Ascot Staffing, they must have received my inforation from one of the online job search engines. I scheduled an interview which also consisted of an assessment of my skills, I did plenty of these, but Ascot was the best agency by far with follow up! I was so impressed with how thorough Penny was. I felt very comfortable and at ease during the interview. Within a week of meeting Penny she had found me an administrative job with Kaiser. I was hired into the Kaiser family! I am so grateful to Penny and all of the Ascot staff for all of their hard work. I owe everything to them! They are such a wonderful group to work with! I told this person I could have all completed and ready the next day. However, it took longer than I had anticipated, but once complete, I sent all required information and documents, and completed assessments. In the interim, we were speaking on the phone, and they were describing a position they were offering me. I told them yes, this sounds like a great job and said I would like it, and they asked if I were available to start the next day. I said absolutely. I was excited, and looked forward to it, but I needed to end the call and asked if I could call back in 30 minutes because I was in a vehicle at the time and couldn't hear well and I wanted to to be able to focus on our conversation. I wasn't able to call until 45 minutes later. When I called back they expressed they were not pleased with me calling 15 minutes later than I said I would, and I was then told to forget it, that they didn't want to work with me after all because I was late in getting the tests and paperwork to them, and late calling back. I did apologize, and assured them that I would do the job well and that they wouldn't be disappointed that they sent me, but they wouldn't give it a chance. To just dismiss me and rescind the opportunity for the position they offered, and after taking all the assessments was such a disappointment and I felt they didn't even give it a chance. It was very cold, and premature. I can understand the importance of timing, but this didn't warrant such an action as to rescind the job offer. I am sure this is not a common issue, and that Ascot Staffing is a good company with pleasant, experienced personnel, but I do wish they would have at least given me the opportunity to do a great job as I am confident I would have.

Wow! I haven't ever worked with a staffing agency that has been so accommodating before. A…read morerecruiter from the SJ office reached out to me via LinkedIn with a really good opportunity awhile ago. Even though I didn't get the job, they kept me in the system. Fast forward to a few months later, I receive a call from the WC office. The opportunity was an excellent fit. In fact, I did a Facetime interview first to save me a trip to the office and to expedite the in-person, then I had an in person at the client's office. A few hours later, I hear back that I ended up getting hired for the contract position. Even though it's a short term contract - it's a great opportunity that I'm sure will open many more doors for me in the future. I am really liking the position so far. Not only have several recruiters from this agency have kept in contact, they have monthly check in's. TekSystems goes above and beyond for their employees. I would recommend them to anyone looking into get into the tech field but don't have a way "in."

When I first started looking for a job a year ago, I was trying to return to the work force after 11 years of hiatus from it. It wasn't easy, and I didn't know where to start. I reached out to JuicyBlue, and Brandon got in touch with me. He spoke with me at length about what I wanted to do and about my experience. I had never worked with an employment agency before and didn't know if I was supposed to pay him, so I asked him. He laughed and said that no, he doesn't take payments from job seekers. I may be misremembering, but I think he said that he gets his commissions from the companies after he places workers with them. Anyway, this kind man told me that even though he couldn't place me at that time, he would work with me to get me a job. He asked me to send him my resume. After reading it, he called me again and told me what I needed to change, to make my resume more accomplishment-based and less role-based. I didn't know it at the time, but my resume was very much in the 90s style(!) and he was bringing it up to the current standard. And he's just a nice guy, I really enjoyed talking to him. We spoke a couple more times, where I updated my resume and he gave me more feedback, and gave me some tips on interviews. Shortly after that, I applied to my current company (using the resume that Brandon helped me polish), and got the job of my dreams. I cannot thank Brandon enough for giving me hope and help during a pivotal part of my life. I hope more people are like him. I've heard horror stories of employment agencies using people and disappointing them. But Brandon is the real thing. He really wants to help, and he has helped me, without taking a cent from me.
