My first visit, Sunday lunch. The place has dinging on ground floor, upstairs and outside overlooking the marina. The place is noisy due to poor insulation between upstairs and downstairs, The chairs are cheap and they scrape on the tile floor making more noise, and then to top it there was background music. People at the same table were struggling to hear each other. The place was half empty at 1:45 pm. The server told me it would be 40 minutes to get food.Normally I would have left with a 40 minute wait, but I stayed as I was curious. I was lucky and got it within 15 minutes. If it had a 40 minute wait and the place was half full then there is a problem with the menu.. There was a choice of a Sunday lunch menu and the full Tapas menu. They would have been wiser to just offer the Sunday lunch menu so service was quicker and better. Servers were good although they need to keep their heads on a swivel. The uniform was nice and professional, but the different trainers each server had was not a good look. My bitter shandy came with a good head on it. I ordered the Trio roast £18, beef, chicken and belly pork. it came with a Yorkshire pudding and a variety of veg and roast potatoes. I wish there was an option of a smaller plate, although at £18 it was good value for money for the size of the portion. The food was OK, everything cooked well. I think next time I will just stick with one roast. Choice of Chicken, beef, belly pork, or vegan Nut roast. Dogs are allowed inside, Brits are very tolerant of this but one lady had a larger dog in the main passage causing customers and servers to have to walk around. read more
