    Buffalo Chicken- Small
    Michelle W.

I have drove by this place for years and now I have finally tried it! I was talking on the phone and someone over heard me say i never been here and they immediately started suggesting food that I should try lol. I sat in there outside area. There were plenty of tables and a nice bar area outside. Service was amazing my waitress was so attentive and answered all my questions. Unfortunately I have a slight allergy to tomatoes and when my pizza came out there was a little allergy flag on my pizza. It truly showed that she listened to my concern. My friends and I split the buffalo chicken pizza and wings. Which was very good!!! I definitely will be returning!!

Absolutely loved our visit to COMO's. We ordered the Granny pizza and it was unreal. The crust had that perfect crisp on the outside, but then it was soft and almost buttery when you bit in. It literally melted in your mouth. The sweet-savory combo with the caramelized onions and gooey cheese was so good. It hit all the right notes. I didn't expect to love it this much but now I can't stop thinking about it. Literally salivating now. Service was good. Our server was kind and checked in a few times, but things did move a little slow. The vibe was easygoing and comfortable. It's got that pizza joint energy. We will def be back!

One of my favorite restaurants! Service is always top notch. Friendly, attentive, personable, and helpful. My friends and I have been coming for a few weeks for trivia night every Tuesday, and we luckily get paired with the same awesome staff. It's nice to have a familiar face each time - I can't brag about the service enough! Food is delicious. To be fair, I've only gotten the pizzas - but you really can't go wrong with any pizza. They always hit the spot, and taste great. You can even split a small (4 pieces) with a friend, and I think that's filling for me. Atmosphere feels cozy, yet you have space from everyone else. It's one big room, yet everything feels separated and you don't need to talk louder to hear your table. It's a really nice place to go with your friends, have great food, and maybe have a drink or two. Trivia is the best and makes me keep coming back. Shoutout to Nick for Sporcle for doing an excellent job every week!

We went after a visit to the zoo with a large group of six adults and six children - the decor is cute inside, with excellent servers. Our waitress was friendly and helpful especially in finding allergen-free options for my son. The Cubano pizza was my favorite, though the margarita was delicious as well. Kids liked the grilled cheese and fries, and I tried the Pomegranate Gimlet cocktail which was incredible. Highly recommend!

Waited 1.5 hours for a pizza, and got literally no sauce & chewy/ raw dough. $21 for something inedible. Place has gone downhill. Not coming back.

This place is absolutely awesome. Cannot recommend enough the pizza with balsamic fig jam and prosciutto. Seriously the best pizza I've ever had. The service wasn't the best, but what can you expect if you go out to dinner at 5 pm on a Saturday night? The banana pudding dessert was to die for! Will be back. I will say the chairs in the booth were mad uncomfortable

    Loaded Antipasto Chicken Tenders

When you enter Como's you're hit with the strong smell of Italian cooking! We were seated in the upstairs room since we had a large party and it was great. There were TVs up there to enjoy the ongoing games. We loved loved loved the chicken tenders. They were juicy and the bleu cheese dressing was the perfect compliment. We had both the antipasto and Greek salads and both were great and light. But the Detroit style pizzas... amazing. We had five or six different types and each one was better than the next. The pizza of the month had pesto and burrata and it should be added to the daily menu it was that good. And their pesto is not made with nuts so it's great for those with allergies. The crispy edges, gooey cheese, and perfectly soft middle crust will have us coming back here

Had a friend visiting from out of state and we were hungry. Como's has been on my list of places to try for awhile now, and this was the perfect opportunity. We were sat after a short wait. The staff were friendly and informative. The menu offers a fair amount of food choices, not just pizza. When I saw they had pickle pizza, I knew I had to give it a try. I live that they offer gluten-free free pizza crust in two sizes! Thats almost unheard of. My friend ordered a small pizza and my husband ordered the chicken stripe. We all really enjoyed our food. This place has a cozy and inviting atmosphere. If we lived closer, I could see us coming here more often.

This drink and pizzas (and the antipasto salad we shared) really hit the spot while we were out Christmas shopping. The leftover pizza was almost as good as it was when it was fresh. And, the staff was super friendly.

Como's has always been the best since I was a kid! I think the menu has been trimmed down quite a bit but the food we had was amazing!! For the appetizer we had the cheese bread which is kind of like a small cheese pizza with marinara sauce on the side. It was awesome!! My friend ordered a pasta dish called baked baci and he was blown away! He said it kind of reminded him of lasagna and it was such a huge order that he took half of it home. I ordered the white bean chicken chili and it had huge pieces of chicken in it. The taste was awesome but I was expecting it to be thicker in consistency. It was really more like a soup but it was good. We brought home two pieces of the cheese bread appetizer and I ate the leftovers before the night was over!!

This was a great patio experience. I had a Mocktail and a bowl of soup. The waitstaff was very attentive to our needs and she was helpful as she could be answering all the questions that we had. It was a lovely day out so we got to see the traffic go by on 9 Mile and Woodward while chopping it up and enjoying a meal. We will definitely be back.

Went here for my birthday and was pretty impressed by this place! Definitely known for their pizza and the whole restaurant is decorated tastefully around that. For drinks i got the soho house margarita. It was okay and definitely nothing special. I wasnt to impressed by their drink menu in general with the limited cocktail and beer options. For appetizers we got the antipasto salad, cheese bread and the fried ravioli. Both were extremely tasty and hot when they were brought out. The marinara sauce and pesto complimented both dishes. The salad was amazing. All of the ingredients tasted extremely fresh and the dressing was very unique and had a nice zing to it. For an entree i got the small roni pizza. It came with pepperoni, Calabrian chillies, garlic and basil. There was a ton of garlic on this pizza which is my favorite so i was happy about that. Although for having peppers it wasn't very spicy - i added my own red pepper flakes. Overall this place was great! The food was all delicious and came out quick for being so busy. I highly recommend the pizza since that is what they are known for and it doesn't disappoint. Definitely getting the dill pickle pizza next time!

Are the pizzas supposed to have cheese and sauce? Specifically the LGBT?

The LGBT has cheese and sauce.

Do they have a weekday happy hour and if so, what time?

I asked about Happy hour. There is None. And draft beers 5$. Rediculous!!! Pizza awesome thou. Won’t be back till beer prices drop.

My daughter didn't care for the pasta as it tasted very strongly of garlic, but the texture was amazing and the portion size was filling. The pizza was so good!! The way our table was set up was not convenient, we were by the wall with one entrance point, so the people on the booth side, had a long way to slide in and out with 6 people to a side. The restaurant was not busy and the service was slow and inattentive. Sometimes it seems that when the tip is included for a large group, the server doesn't feel the need to exert any effort. For the most part, everyone enjoyed their food. The lobster avocado toast was the standout. I had the farmers veggie skillet and it was just ok: Eggs were barely cooked and the potatoes were over cooked and dry. I did like the cheesy veggies. As a final note, any restaurant that can't split a check in our day and age, loses points for me.

If their menu prices were lower, I could understand it, but with entrees at $20 - $40, I would expect at least a piece of bread and an accompanying vegetable.

It's great for a casual date or a nice meal with friends. We started with the bread board which was alright. I think they described the bread as focaccia, so I was expecting a bread with more of a crunchy crust and the classic dimples on top. However, this bread was fluffy and soft, but it was still very good. I'm not sure if I would get it again since it felt like a bread board I could put together at home. I preferred the bruschetta we got last time. For my entree, I went with the chicken parm which was very good. The chicken was coated well and the sauce was delicious. Overall, this is a great spot for Italian food in Royal Oak, and we'll be back for future date nights.

The inside of this place looks amazing and the outside patio is even nicer, this is a very romantic looking restaurant. We went here for my wife's birthday and thought I would treat her to a nice restaurant for dinner and that's exactly what it was. Now the way their ordering process goes is a little confusing, I don't know if it was our waitress or it's just how things go but we ordered our drinks and then after they came Out with our drinks then they asked if we wanted an appetizer then after that came out they asked if we wanted a meal, so like I said I don't know if that's how they do it or it was just our waitress. So we ordered our drinks and I had a Smoked Old Fashioned, anywhere I go if I see that cocktail on the menu I order it, when it came out they had the smoke infuser on it and when they took it off the smoke just bellowed out, it tasted amazing, I have to say that it was a really good old fashioned. For an appetizer I had the Caesar Salad which tasted fresh, crunchy and just refreshing, the cheese was delicious and the dressing was really good. Next I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken added and it was very delicious, the noodles were soft, the chicken was delectable and the sauce was very flavorful. Everything from the ambience to the food here was flawless with the exception of some older gentleman that didn't stop talking the WHOLE time we were there, nothing we could do about that but everything was perfect and I would love to come back and try other meals. So a few things to point out is they offer valet parking for $12, they offer brunch & Breakfast every Saturday & Sunday and on the bill they add Gratuity (20%) on there already just so you know before heading there, most people freak out about not knowing this and I am here to tell you it is added, however, the food was worth every bit of it.

We were there for a special occasion (I added that to the reservation note); not the biggest deal, but we weren't asked about that at all. The drinks were decent, but not the best, and the same was true for the food. Some dishes were pretty good, including my husband's chicken parmesan, but others could have been better. We also tried the crème brûlée cheesecake for dessert, which was pretty good, but the brûlée top was gummy rather than crackable. Additionally, the plates themselves were somewhat hard to eat from as aesthetics seemed to come before functionality. No spoons set with the flatware, either, which should be standard for an Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was good, and server was friendly, but service was a bit spotty for a relatively slow night. However, food and drinks arrived quickly. Our water glasses were not ever topped off, and when the busser did come by, the wrong plates were taken away; bread and oil were removed and our dirty/empty dishes left behind at the table. So, it was decent, but not quite the fine dining experience it purports to be. Hopefully it will get there, because it is a cool spot.

The shrimp pasta was actually spicy, so be aware as there were some jalapeños, but it was a pleasant spice and was not overwhelming. I did not expect this but it wasn't bad, but maybe would have liked the warning. The Beef pasta was great with nice shredded beef with red sauce and square pasta that you could tell was home made. I also ordered Carbonara because I was craving that and didn't want to make it at home. They put CREAM in their Carbonara, which is a culinary SIN. The silkiness of the sauce is created by adding small amounts of pasta water, parmesan, stirring constantly until it's creamy. Suffice to say, I won't be dining in their restaurant.
