I have worn glasses for nearly 60 years. So I have seen many different optometrists, and I think they have all been pretty similar experiences. However, there is one service absent at Community Vision. When you pick up your glasses, the staff doesn't check them. Every other optometrist I have ever gone to has made sure my new glasses fit. I even told the woman that the glasses were really loose; they needed to be tightened. She had that deer in the headlights look. I know she worked there, but did she? I didn't think one star was fair, but I was very disappointed with the service received. And, I still wear my old glasses. What a waste. Don read more

After such a terrible experience here all I did was get Glassess not even an examination found out the cost of the glasses ahead of time paid for them with my union benefits and the difference of $19 with a personal check. I was told it was paid in full! Then a year later, they falsely send me another bill asking for more money. Dont go to this place whatsoever. There's other places that you can use your union benefits tthat will give you better service. This business is un honest and unethical. Go somewhere else or you'll be sorry. read more

Stay away from this place. The Dr was helpful but if you need follow up that needs to be done by the staff, you will be extremely disappointed. Ive gotten my glasses here and by far always the best service . When it comes to insurance i understand that depending on the insurance someone has it will only cover as much but here i seem to get a good price on what my insurance does not cover the fact the staff is great especially the front desk. Im sure if you've had a bad experience you should give them another try im sure they will go beyond their service to help.cant wait for my new glasses. read more

The doctor's are good but the staff upsells the hell out of everyone and takea advantage of people who don't know any better.

I am writing a review for this place because I am not going there never again . I went and staff member her name Araceli was very rude ! I have been going with them for a while I am not going to them again !!! I simply asked for a cleaning cloth and she was very rude I don't know how this optometrist trains on customer service . They really need it ! Couple of my friends were going to go here because I have referred them but after this I think I need to find myself a new optometrist. Any recommendations anyone read more

I went in for my first eye appointment at this location. I was very displeased about his methods. I have to wear glasses base on a condition I have. They do the first screening where a computer does the measurements, then I see the doctor. He comes to a conclusion I have 20/20 vision but my condition doesn't get better.. he try's to contact my last clinic I've gone too. After 20 to 30 mins of waiting I have to come back.. for another appointment when I should have had my eyes tested right then and there. First time going here and my last seriously she waisted my vist and expects me to paid for another session that my insurance will not cover. read more

Dr.Mark Acton was patient with my son at first but towards the end he got really frustrated with my son and was being rude.He also didn't perform a correct eye exam.I would HIGHLY not recommend coming here especially if you have kids. read more

I don't know if I can say this on here but .... this place just sucks! They are snobby, don't want to help, and after the fact that you do go and get the service they can't even fax over the prescription and are laughing and using an excuse that they are always helping a patient. Yet they can answer the phone. This place just makes me upset. I also agree with the other reviews on her they are super over priced. I really hope the office manager or any one in that office that may care about this offices reputation fixes these issues! read more

The customer service is so low when it comes to giving back your money, but they have no problem taking it. Monica won't even call you or reply back when you leave messages. So sad to know this after so many years of going there... they made me call my insurance to verify they were wrong, instead of verifying for themselves. I do not recommend, you can find better customer service anywhere else. read more

Don't go here. Dr.Castillo is the rudest doctor! If you're gonna be in health care you should learn to have compassion for ALL your patients. She's very degrading to her patients especially if their primary language isn't English. She'll snap her fingers at them as if their animals & loses her temper. I've been coming here for 4 years now. Staff is always great. The doctors have been really helpful every single time with discussing my options on contact lenses, I've had to switch a couple times to adjust to my comfort level from monthly to 2 week and now back to monthly. Great service :) one of the employees was very helpful as I picked out new frames. I showed her what I currently wear and she brought at least 10 different frames of similar shape and style I was used to and a few different additions that she thought would frame my face well. I've had two bad experiences while coming here. The first time I took my daughter for her first eye appointment the doctor was accusing her of lying about her vision. My 16 yr old is smarter then that and was offended by his remarks. According to the doctor my daughter did not need glasses so we left. 6 months later we returned due to the fact that my daughter started driving and driving at night was a difficultly to her and turns out she had trouble seeing out of her left eye. Anyways I called the office to see when I would need to go pick up her glasses and the lady was so rude on the phone. She then had the audacity to hang up the phone on me. I will not be returning after I get my glasses. Terrible customer service would not recommend. read more

Very unprofessional, racist and will call the cops on you if you're unhappy with their service. They do not know how to do their job and got my prescription wrong. When I called to have them redo it, they put me on hold for over 10 minutes, I actually had to call using my mom's phone to get them to answer my call. They gave me an appointment 20 minutes before the office even opens. After that I was not trusting them and just wanted a refund. They did not want to make it right and got ignorant with me. After I finally got my refund, they gave me back my frames with no screws in them. (I brought my own frames with screws and fake plastic lenses.) They even called the cops on me making up stuff that I never did. Very unpleasant to deal with. read more
