Wonderful Paul came out to my place when my frost free hydrant in my barn quit working. I had it…read moredug out but couldn't figure out why the pvc cement would not bond nor why the clamps didn't hold. I have horses that I have to water plus no turn off valve for the cabin so I was without water for 5 days hauling water in tubs in the truck. Paul came to the rescue and access ed the problem and found a pipe inside a pipe which he flamed torched out and clamped the new frost free hydrant on. We were super broke not having an income for over 2.5 years. He accepted a check for a reasonable amount and was on his way . We would have gone through a cold snap and wondered if the house pipes would survive the below zero temperatures without water. We were barely surviving just hauling the water back and forth to keep the horses watered . Big thanks and shout out for the great job this company provides. If it weren't for them we would have been hurting big time with possible ruptured pipes and who knows. Thank you for all your kindness and intellect. I will contact them again for a new shut off valve in the summer when it's snow free.

Julio(Owner) was extremely professional, easy to work with and was very flexible to any changes and/or updates we presented to him during the process. Julio's crew of three showed up on time, worked diligently through the "entire" day and were all very willing to help me with any additional projects that came up during our overall painting project. The entire Crew paid close attention to detail and did a terrific job cleaning up each evening after they finished their work. Had a mystery shutoff of my Dishwasher and a wine fridge outlet about 6' away from it. Checked all…read moreGFCI outlets and breakers and could not find the issue. Called Shipley at 5 pm and Service Manager Tom fit us in the very next morning at 7:30 a.m! We went down in the crawl space after some quick diagnostics and Tom found a junction box in the ceiling of the Crawl that had 3 yellow electrical lines coming into it. He took the wire nuts off the ground, positive and negative wires and found that one of the 3 ground wires over the last 20 years had pulled back slightly. He re-connected and went back up to the main fuse panel and kitchen to make sure all was well. I was so impressed he was able to diagnose and resolve this issue so quickly - I NEVER would have found the root cause of this problem. Shipley has worked on several new fixtures and electrical improvements in our home and we find them to be extremely efficient, very responsive and very reasonable. We highly recommend Shipley Electric.

Mark is very responsive and does as he promised. He diagnosed my hit and miss garage door closure - sometimes closed all the way, other times reversed about a foot before coming down all the way. Very frustrating. Mark came out exactly as scheduled, found the problem quickly (bad bearing on the 24 year old unit), and replaced the opener. Prompt, reliable, high quality workmanship. Top notch.
