Ms. Hellhake is exceptionally knowledgeable and well informed about every stage of home buying in Valley County. From start to finish, my experience with Ms. Hellhake was nothing less than flawless. She anticipated every potential snag with my home purchase and addressed them all with great skill. She is able to direct, inform and advise without being overbearing. Her demeanor is comfortable and authentic (let's face it - you spend a lot of time with the realtor helping you, it is an extra bonus when they are enjoyable to be around!). She is also exceptionally responsive and communicative. I never waited long for an update email nor a return phone call. If you are looking for property in Valley County, Ms. Hellhake could not receive a higher recommendation from me. This is a very challenging area to acquire real estate in. It is necessary to have someone experienced and very much in tune with the area and its special issues when making a purchase in this county. Since Ms. Hellhake is a resident of the same, she is in a unique position to give the wise advice necessary to complete a smooth transaction. I was harassed by the company for a cabin rental we had for 4 days…read more Some family had stopped by to change on the way back from the lake and they left their dog outside. The company showed up and came on the property and threatened to kick us out. She then proceeded to charge $300 for a carpet cleaning fee for a dog that was never in the house. Also the whole house is wood floors with no carpets. She said we broke the policy of having a gathering. She then took pictures of the dog outside . Do not ever use this company.

They out right lied to me on several occasions and kept most of my deposit because they claimed I left 2 towels in the washer, for which they charged me $87.50. When I pressed them on it they said they had to change a bed in the 2nd BR because the pillow cases didn't match. huh? I told them numerous times that I lived there alone and the 2nd BR was not used. They charged me $210 to clean the carpet....on and on.... Enough said.....they kept most of my deposit claiming bogus charges. I was especially careful to clean the unit upon departure because of their shady behavior during the renting of the unit. I am a 4 Star Super Host with AirBnB and owned a cleaning company in the past so I think I know how to leave a unit clean. I would never rent from these people again and certainly never list a property with them. I wanted to rent the condo for 6 weeks during mud season when rentals are typically very low. I asked the owner Shauna if they would accept $1100 instead of $1200 because it was off season. She balked and told me she wasn't going to waste a bunch of time negotiating for me because she only made $80 a month managing the unit and it wasn't worth her time. YES, she actually said that! After asking her if she would please at least ask the owners she hesitantly agreed and told me to call her at end of business that day. I called her then, the next day and the third day with no response. I went to her office and at that time she told me the owners agreed to the $1100 but demanded a $300 non refundable pet deposit. It just so happens I was acquainted with the upstairs neighbor to the unit and she spoke to the owners about the same time I was in Shauna's office. It was a complete lie! The owners had no knowledge of my offer to rent their condo. The rent paid the owners overhead for April and May and made them over $500 and it wasn't worth Shauna's time to contact them for only $80 a month management fee.
