Instead, I feel like they genuinely care about their patients. If you've never been to the Eagle Highlands facility, you'll be surprise at how quickly you get in and out. Even with outpatient surgery and procedures, they typically meet the timeliness given. Eagle Highlands is easy to find off of 465 West and the 38th Street exit. Turn onto Shore Drive (by McDonald's) and continue to Eagle Highland facility on the left. The secret all first timers need to know is to go to the second entrance when you turn into the parking lot. This applies to labs, radiology, and outpatient procedures. Look for 6850 above the entrance. They have a large parking lot with many handicapped parking spaces and a patient drop-off entrance area with automated doors. I've had several procedures completed over the years from endoscopies, colonscopies, MRI's, x-rays, bone density tests and labs. I've never had an issue with any of the services provided. The lab I was using at Georgetown Plaza closed and I've now started using the lab at Eagle Highlands. Registration went smoothly and quickly and the tech was wonderful as many consider me a hard stick. My wait time for the tech was approximately 10 minutes. I'm not sure why I wasn't currently using the lab since I use their other services. Regardless, I'll continue going to Eagle Highlands since IU West Hospital lab wait time can be more than an hour and always packed. I no longer dread when labs are due.

Deceptive and duplicitous billing. Impossible to contact. When you do get a paper bill, the number sends you to an overseas call center that has nobody that can help. Then comes the Collection bill and phone calls. Deceptive, nefarious, and down right criminal. Been dealing with this for 5 months now and nowhere near resolution. Let me tell you the Oak Street in Ft Wayne is a crock. Never ever was I treated so poorly by medical professionals in my nearly 60 years of life. The medications my regular Doctor had prescribed for years was not offered at Oak Street. I was told I had to see specialists. My whole point of going to Oak street was because they say d they offered n house to save me money. What a crock. I was paying 4 times what I was before because suddenly. Had to specialist to get medications that I get t at my family doctors for years. So right off, the ads were deceptively ve because se the type of care I was told I would get wasn't offered, and as for r care quality, I was made to feel belittled the way I was talked to I felt I was being talked down to instead of on equal level. Lastly the office experience. I try to find something positive to say but I do not think I have ever been 100 percent disappointed and dissatisfied in medical care. From the office staff, to the nurse and especially the doctor it was as awful as I had ever experienced. I can honestly say I have never walked out of a doctors revisit because of being treated ed so poorly until oak Street Health. Don't even try to get a hold of a nurse or office person at the location. They use an answering service and I went days back and forth as they never accept your call, it's always they will call you back. They offer a very wide variety of labs, among other things! I'd been to the Carmel location once, but this location is closer to me. Parking is available on the street in front of the building. There *is* a lot behind the building, but spots have reserved signs and there's a towing notice. I wouldn't risk it. Thankfully, I was able to find an easy spot right out front. I had a slew of blood work I was getting this day. The phlebotomist was very kind--and running the whole place herself! She told me she had 18 years of experience and it showed. We had some trouble with getting my blood at first. She had to wiggle the needle a bit, but I didn't feel a thing! And she quickly got the vials we needed. Results were back in about five business days. I had two tests that were more rare in this set. Typically, you can expect results back in 2-5 days. I'll definitely come back here as needed. It's clean, easy, professional, and pretty affordable for those without insurance coverage for whatever reason.

They accept walk ins, but you can also schedule an appointment on line. They don't bill insurance, but I have a high deductible so I was going to be paying either way. Doctor called for at least 6 test and the cost was $240.00 which was fine with me. The woman working, who's name is Tuesday, was very friendly and definitely had the skills for an easy blood draw. I've had previous experiences else where that did not go so well. Tuesday has exemplary phlebotomist skills! It was fast and painless. I'd liken it to a butterfly landing on my arm. I'm seriously she is great. I am happy to have this location right downtown. I'll be using them again.

As you enter, you must wear a surgical mask (as for all Medical Facilities at this time) and use hand sanitizer. For procedures where registration is required turn right from main entrance. The people at the main entrance can provide directions if needed. After registration, I was taken to the Nuclear Department which was a short walk. I only waited 5 minutes and the Tech called my name. He was friendly and explained the next steps in the procedure thoroughly. This is my second procedure here and things ran as quickly and efficiently as the first procedure. As I noted above, the staff are terrific, appear to work well together and treat the patient with respect and compassion. If you require Nuclear Medicine procedures I can highly recommend this Department at IU West Hospital.
