He set a decibel maximum so loud noises wouldn't be jarring and he tweaked them to match my particular hearing loss. I had hearing aids about 12 years ago and they were really awful. They made everything shockingly loud and I wound up retuning them. So I was not expecting this to be helpful but my Dr, Dr Sarnov (another great Dr., btw )recommended I try again. I am SO GLAD I did! But make sure you go to Morabito, where they really take the time to help you hear again.
