I called the Oswego, NY office and spoke with the receptionist about coming in during their "walk-in" hours. She acknowledged, saying I might have to leave them which was OK with me. I came in during the walk-in hours and ended up leaving them and picking them up the next day during the walk-in hours again. I checked the changes over in the office while I was there and there were a few problems which I explained to the receptionist. The receptionist made me feel foolish that I used the manufacturer's hearing aid app, that it wasn't necessary. When I initially bought these hearing aids, the audiologist is the one who upsold me to these more expensive ones having the Bluetooth feature. The audiologist who was standing near the receptionist tried to help me out, which was nice. The receptionist started getting rude with me at that point. I maintained a polite demeanor but she continued to get more rude, directing me to sit down even though it was the audiologist who approached the window and was helping from there. The receptionist then said in a stern and rude voice that walk-in hours were not for this sort of thing and that I would need an appointment for any further help. Keep in mind that it was she who knew what I was coming in for and when. Also, no where can find that it states what services the walk-in hours are limited too. I would gladly have made an appointment from the beginning but she didn't say I needed to make one. The audiologist fixed most but not all of the problems which was disappointing. If you like rude service, this is the place for you. If you like being treated politely and as a valued customer, go elsewhere.

I was impressed. When my needs increased, I sought her out to find she now owner her own business. I made my appointment since I knew I'd put off hearing aids long enough. I was seen by her associate Dr Juliet Stuber who was delightful. She was extremely thorough and slowly & carefully went through my evaluation, testing and comprehensive overview/explanation. She never once ever even mentioned it was time for hearing aids, but rather allowed me to make my own decision etc. i had done a great deal of my own research before this appointment and interviewed many hearing aid customers / patients. We discussed brands, types and features of several type & models and I went with the company my own research suggested. Dr Stuber explained the type & brand were perfect for my hearing loss. NO PUSH, NO SALES PITCH, no pressure, just simple, old fashioned guidance & direction. I'm confident in my choice of company, doctor and equipment. Although not perfect given the severity of my mom's hearing loss, Robert managed to bring my mom back into the hearing world. My mom and I can actually have nice conversation now.
