You feel it the moment you walk in. They are friendly, motivating, and consistent, whether you're a first-time member or someone who's been training for years. As an evening dedicated member, I rotate through classes with Greg, Abe, Wes, Marlon, and Chase, and that variety keeps workouts fresh while still delivering a serious full-body burn every time. No two classes feel the same, but the quality never drops. The diversity and inclusiveness here truly matter--you're supported, pushed, and encouraged at your own level. And for the membership rates, the value is unmatched considering the intensity and effectiveness of the workouts. You get strength, cardio, stress relief, and confidence all in one. One small suggestion: It would be helpful if the weekly class schedule was sent automatically via text or email, so members always have quick access and reminders without having to search for it. Overall, this is a gym that shows up for its members, builds community, and delivers results. Highly recommend--whether you're just starting or staying committed long term.

The first 3 weeks are their 101 classes, where you learn the movements and do some entry level workouts with the rest of the trial members, and your 4th week is in the "real" classes. They have a pretty good set up at the their facility with good equipment and it's a good enough space for their volume I think. The staff seemed pretty friendly, and I've heard members talk about their family-like closeness. I didn't experience this with the trial membership, but that's to be expected. The programming is pretty good, and is available on an app where you can sign up ahead of time for the classes. Of course the most popular class times go quick, so sometimes you can't work out when it's convenient for you, which I think is a negative. I did notice a couple of times that depending on which class you pick, you may end up over-working certain body parts, so you have to be careful and plan ahead. We didn't experience the meal planning, but from what the other people told us, it's more of a cookie-cutter plan than individualized nutritional guidance. Overall, we decided that this wasn't the gym for us due to the high price ~$250/mo that I couldn't justify paying, but there are certain individuals that may benefit enough from their services to pay that much.

I've been doing Crossfit since January of 2018. Since then, I have dropped in to and been a member…read moreat gyms in California, North Carolina, and Memphis. This is as good as it gets. Let me repeat myself for those of you who didn't catch it. THIS IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS. While relatively happy at my previous gym in Memphis, I left after Greg Glassman's racist rant did not compel them to de-affiliate from Crossfit, as many gyms had done. I searched Google to find a gym in the Memphis area who had de-affiliated, and SilverBull was the only one. Furthermore, it is the only minority owned Crossfit Gym in Memphis, which is made better because of the People of Color in it. So, really, SilverBull Fitness was my only option. It was a God moment for sure because it ended up being the gym of my dreams in every way. I wanted a gym and community that reflected my values. I honestly hit the jackpot. Our gym has the most diverse community of members I have ever seen. Black, brown, gay, older, younger...you name it. CrossFit has gotten a lot of bad press for being a notoriously white sport. SilverBull Fitness is the future of this sport. Silverbull Fitness is what Crossfit really looks like. The members are the funniest, warmest, kindest, most brilliant people I've ever met. Worried about a cold atmosphere where you get judged by a bunch of shirtless bros when you walk in? 100 percent does not happen here. All fitness levels, all love, all encouragement. 5:30 am loves 5:30 pm. We all genuinely get along and everyone knows everyone. And finally: our owner and coaches. I have made more progress here in three months than I have in my entire two years and some change of doing Crossfit. I am stronger, faster, fitter, mentally and physically tougher, and more in love with this sport than I have ever been. Ahmed (our owner and head coach) knows his stuff. His programming is epic, he is helpful and attentive, and is my favorite person to roll my eyes at when he pushes me to be better. Kathleen is compassionate, patient, and now one of my dearest friends. Her laugh is hysterical. She always has a smile on her face and is my favorite person to try to beat in workouts. I could write a book about this gym and the magic that it brings to my life every day. Truly. When I come to Silverbull, I am home. I know without a doubt that when you do, you will be home too.
