I trust Jane more than any doctor i've met in California. She genuinely cares about you and your situation, and only wants the best for you. She's worth every penny. 10 lbs down too!

I originally started seeing Jane Shellhouse as I wanted a Clinical Nutritionist to help me figure…read moreout once and for all how to lose weight. I had dieted most of my adult life and nothing had worked long term. I told Jane that I just wanted to learn how to eat and live my life in a way that would help my body achieve a normal weight for my type of body and the life and work style I have. Little did I know when I first met Jane that she would do far more than help me on my journey of weight loss. Jane helped me realize that to successfully become a normal weight that I also had to address severe pain issues I was dealing with along with truthfully evaluating why I was overworking my body with my crazy work schedule. She also helped me accept that life style changes, in the amount I needed to embrace, would take time, patience, and my willingness to make necessary changes to reach my goals. The most important thing Jane has done for me is that she realized before my medical doctor did that I had Celiac disease. Jane advocated for me with my doctor when all my doctor wanted to do, when my blood tests showed I was severely anemic, was to tell me to eat more spinach and take an iron supplement. Once I got all the tests done, that my doctor didn't think at first were yet necessary and my diagnosis was confirmed with an endoscopy, I eliminated all gluten from my diet and soon regained my health. Today, I am continuing my path of helping my body become a healthier weight. It is a long journey for me but I know I will reach my goal especially now that I have my health back thanks to Jane Shellhouse's knowledge, encouragement, and support. I highly recommend that if you are seeking help in improving your health in any way that you consider adding a qualified clinical nutritionist to your health team and that you interview Jane Shellhouse to see for yourself why I feel she is the best clinical nutritionist in our area and why I am so happy I met her myself.

I'm very grateful for the support I have received from Elaine. I came to her when my body felt like…read moreit was in a crisis. I struggled for months not knowing how to help my body because every doctor just told me there's nothing I could do but let my anxiety flare up pass or take a ton of different medications that didn't make me feel good. And all my labs kept coming back normal so I felt lost. With her expertise we were able to target areas such as anxiety/mood, digestive, and even sleep. She has been extremely patient, kind, reassuring, and helpful to me as I navigate my health in a holistic way. She gave me hope which is what any patient wants or needs during difficult times in their health journey. Thank you Elaine. I love the supplements she recommend (and didn't push) and I will say they are reasonably priced.

I decided to see Rebecca after I began suffering from debilitating period cramps and a range of…read moreworsening symptoms: extremely painful, hard bloating during my periods, unusual spotting, significant clotting, PMS, constipation, and fibroids, just to name a few. The inflammation I experienced during my cycle started to become unbearable. My uterus became so sensitive to the touch that I would scream out in pain. I had to take a couple days off work each month - something I had never needed to do before. The bloating progressively worsened to the point where it was painful just to swallow a bite of food or even walk. I could hardly eat the first few days of my period! Unlike the doctors I had previously seen, Rebecca focused on identifying and addressing the root cause of my symptoms rather than masking them. In less than a year, my digestive issues quickly resolved, and my periods are now nearly pain-free - something I once thought was impossible! I'm excited to continue improving my health under her guidance, and I've already referred several friends and family members to her. I highly recommend Rebecca to anyone who wants to truly get to the root cause of their health concerns especially if they're dealing with inflammation, period issues, or fertility challenges! Thank you for all your guidance!
