What I love is that I never feel rushed and even though I have graduated to a once per month wellness visit, he always takes his time and works my spine so that I feel renewed each time. The team and Community Chiropractic listens to your concern and adjusts treatment as needed. I went in yesterday for my normal monthly adjustment visit and discussed with Drs Mark and Mike some issues I have been having in the C5/C6 area of my neck. Like many other aspects of my life, my back is totally wacky. And as if that's not enough to make a human extremely uncomfortable and a wee bit cranky, I have terrible TMJ. I've tried just about everything and come up bologna sandwiches, but my husband suggested I try his chiropractor. Couldn't hurt, right? (For the record, it didn't). Dr. Mark is an extremely knowledgeable and professional practitioner who knows his stuff. He's also wicked funny and a great guy. During my first (complimentary) consultation, he asked tons of questions and took x-rays of my ouchy places - and guess what? It turns out that my spine curves the wrong way and my head is too far forward. As rare as the crazy spine is, he was confident that he would be able to help - and he is. The practice itself is a community (the name is no coincidence) and people seem to know each other when they walk through the doors. Dr. Mark and his staff also feel strongly about giving back to the community at large as well - they do a big Toys for Tots event each November and are involved in lots of volunteer efforts. He accepts many insurances and has a payment plan if your bill gets too high. Community Chiropractic is awesome, and thanks to them I'm structurally in alignment and a heck of a lot crankier. read more

The short story is I was immobilized from pain and now I am not. The longer story is... I was in acute pain from a jacked up lower back and neck, to the point where it hurt to breath. I went to see Dr. Mark and was greatly relieved by both his approach and results. I went faithfully to Dr. Mark for 2 months, and got no relief at all from my lower back / sciatic pain. He finally ordered an MRI, and it turns out my annular tears could not be treated with chiropractic. I wasted time and a lot of money before i finally went to a real Orthopedist who helped me. Dr. Kristen is an integral part of my wellness team. When I started working out with my personal trainer, I developed some weird and severe leg discomfort. X-rays indicate that my pelvis is torqued and with one leg shorter than the other my weight was not even close to being equally distributed and my legs were complaining about the inequities. When I see Dr. Kristen, her adjustments balance out the work load so that my legs are each doing their fair share. How many times have you asked someone to pull your leg - but it feels great when she is done and I am moving with ease. She also worked with my on a hand/wrist issue which developed from poor computer habits. Not only did we work on the shoulder/wrist/hand issue, but she made me very aware of the reason for my problem so it became a "joint" approach to solve the issue.
