Drinking large amounts of water (I highly suggest Plant Nanny app if you have problems with remembering drinking water), caffeine intake, tried massages, heat pads, the works! Nothing seemed to calm the beast. It's been years and I kind of just gave up. I also work in an office so I would get this horrible knots behind my shoulder blades. I was just a mess. My boyfriend kept nagging me to try a chiropractor but after reading how chiropractors was a waste of money, I kept putting it off. At first, everything seemed great. My first two appointments were very educational - I was shown a video, talked about how the back/spine works, etc. I was informed that my shoulder issue was caused by some hip subloxations and was directed to come twice a week at $50 a pop for the foreseeable future. I was provided a laundry list of things that were wrong with me and promised that chiropractic care was the cure. The third visit seemed okay but I woke up the next day in a worse position than I started. The pain in my neck, back, and shoulders was so intense I could hardly do my job where I legit sit at a desk all day. I couldn't sleep. I called out of work one day and moved up my appointment. I even scheduled a massage with this office, hoping that would facilitate in my recovery. I got the worst paid massage of my life. Exboyfriends did a better job and they were just trying to coerce sex out of me. Once I let my nephew use my back as a road for his toy trucks while I laid on the floor and that was a better massage. I tried addressing my issues with my chiropractor who simply brushed me off, stating simply "sometimes it gets worse before it gets better" and added a heating pad to my back after my adjustment. I was still in a lot of pain but a couple of visits with a licensed massage therapist and an acupuncturist mostly cured me. In sharing my woes with others, it turns out at least 2 other people I know had similar experiences. They were also told their legs were uneven - they were shown the same video, they were placed in similar treatment regimes, etc. They also were not satisfied by the services provided by Stone Bridge Wellness. For anyone reading this (I'm sure they have a paid Yelp account and this review will get deleted if it even gets posted), I just advise you to do a little more research than I did. If you're in pain, it can be easy to get swayed by folks who promise relief. In my case, and the case of at least two friends, Stone Bridge Wellness was not the answer unless you don't mind suffering worse than when you started and you have at least $100/week to blow.
