Every masseuse there is great. Tell them what's been bothering you and they will customize the massage to focus on your problem areas. They also use hot stones on every massage and sometimes do back walking, cupping and other therapies to help with various ailments. The new location right on Butler Pike, near Ridge Ave, is a big improvement from the old spaces. It's locates directly across the street from Five Guys.

There a big sign that says " NO LESS THAN 20% TIP"!! You can't tell people how to tip. It's a "gratuity" meaning if I the customer enjoyed my service from the person providing it I have the "option" to tip more or as my budget will allow. IT'S RUDE TO DEMAND MONEY AFTER I PAID FOR THE INCOMPLETE MASSAGE. Why do I say it was incomplete? Well I have had over 100 massages. A complete massage includes the back and front of your body massaged in oil or lotion. Unless it is a type of massage service that requires you to keep your clothes on, like Thai Massage. Today I had my massage, I was laying face down, the massage on my back was amazing. I did not ask for hot stones and it was performed. I don't like hot stones, and these were hott. My back still feels like its burning. I will have to check to see if my skin stays on. The back of my legs got a light massage with oil. I turned over to my back and the therapist did my neck for about 2 mins, a light facial massage and a head massage. Then she did my feet about 5 mins. Next I heard " Finish".....I said what? she said " you finish" Notice I did not mention she massaged my arms or my legs on the front. I got out side and the guy at the desk asked me how was the massage. I explained what happened, he asked her in Chinese and she responded in Chinese. Then he told me she said she did full body massage. I told the guy, she can speak English just fine I don't need a translator. Its not fair that you two wants to discuss what happened in your language. She then proceed to tell me what happened and that she massaged my whole body. I showed her my dry arms no lotion or oil. When I started to walk away after I paid my $55, the front desk guy said in a loud voice " excuse me you not tip her" I said in a louder voice ' NO! LOOK AT MY ARMS AND LEGS! NO OIL, THE JOB WAS NOT FINISHED, DO I LOOK HAPPY? A HAPPY CUSTOMER GIVES A TIP, I AM NOT HAPPY"!!!!!! HE YELLED AT ME IN CHINESE WHILE I WAS WALKING OUT OF THE BUILDING.....no clue what he said tho. My last thoughts get what you pay for, half the price, half the massage, half the service. Totally a recession massage. By the way I did not see any license either. Never going back to this place has very poor customer service.

Unsure of which service to select, I explained my situation and she recommended the Empowered Realignment, as this incorporates subtle bodywork such as polarity and cranial sacral therapy. I arrived early for my appointment which gave us time to discuss the locations of discomfort, diet/exercise regime, current emotional state and massage preferences. Based on my current issues, she combined traditional massage (shiatsu?,) myofascial release and energy healing. During the treatment, she checked in with me to ensure the pressure was comfortable and adjusted when I felt pain. Soft music played in the background, a specifically selected essential oil blend was diffused and at some point I was so relaxed I fell asleep. She gently woke me up to let me know the massage had ended. We sat down afterwards to talk through thoughts that arose during the energy work portion, had a glass of water and she suggested a few things I could do to improve my back/emotional state. I left with a roller of the essential oil that was selected for my session. It's rare to find a Massage Therapist who combines aromatherapy, massage and Reiki into one holistic treatment. I really enjoyed the entire experience and look forward to my next appointment! Side note: Blakey currently massages out of her home.
