First time visiting Lake Anna, had a group of 16 (including 8 kids). CBR offered a 16 passenger pontoon boat and it made the difference in our vacation. Boat didn't require a boating license so any adult could drive, super easy to drive and dock, was in gorgeous shape, all the kids LOVED being on it. Tommy was our contact, he was GREAT with communication. He dropped the boat to our dock nice and early, did an informative walk-through of everything, and then made local suggestions for where to go. Our house was in close boating distance to Lake Anna Tap House (which was a GEM), so we docked there daily and hung out. Tommy also recommended a sand bar about 15 minutes down the lake where we could dock, kids could swim and play, and was great for some adult lounging. We had such a great time on the Lake that we will be coming back for sure, and Tommy and CBR will be our go-to for anything Boat rentals. Couldnt have had a better experience. read more

Good boats and good people. We've been using Commonwealth pontoon boats for a few years now and have never been disappointed. They are very responsive, reliable, and honest. Our pontoon shows up at our dock ready to go. The company is run by a nice group of adults. We'll be using them again next season. read more

Have rented from CommonWealth 4 times now and have been quite pleased every time. The boats show up when promised, clean, fueled up and ready to go. The delivery staff is friendly and helpful. Communication with the delivery staff is excellent and any questions that may pop up during the rental are answered quickly by Tommy and his staff. John and Kara went above and beyond to save our vacation this year when a glitch occurred through no fault of theirs. I will continue to rent from them on our annual family vacation.
