Considering the proximity to the mall I find a 20 minute wait for a simple transaction unacceptable. Sadly I couldn't avoid going into this branch. They need to lift their game to improve their service. Once I did get served - smooth sailing. Do something about the wait times.

When I arrived there was no coin counting machine. They apologized and said they didn't have one. When I explained croydon had sent me there. They apologized again and said they would sort and bag it for me.it took the girl a while to do this but I really appreciated her effort and the customer service I received. They made my afternoon. I have nothing to complain about. That's unusual when it comes to me and banks, but this place…read moreseems to have been engineered to cater for you from the moment you walk in. Staff don't let you hang around looking confused - they're there to help or point you in the right direction. It's spacious, there are comfy seats to wait on if you need to, and you can either stop to chat about all the banking products you wish to (if that's your thing, you freak), or you can be in and out as quickly as the queue allows. Staff are knowledgable, helpful and do it all with a smile.

At first glance, you realise that this bank caters mainly to Asians - most of the staff are Asian, which probably helps a lot of immigrants out because they're a bilingual branch. However, no need to fear if you only speak English because the bankers here, although of Asian descent, speak English 100% fluently so there is no language barrier on all fronts. We were served by a personal banker named Justin, who was very nice, efficient, and overall did a fantastic job. He cracked a few jokes here and there and made our experience of "going to the bank" not a tedious errand. --- The only downside is because this is only bank in the CBD that does weekend trading and probably one of the very few that has bilingual services, it is extremely crowded. The teller line was enormous and stretched to the far end of the bank. Thankfully, the wait for a personal banker took only a few minutes, but if you're here to deposit money you might consider this to not be a very quick errand.

On a recent trip to Melbourne I came to this branch to check my accounts. It was a bit of a wait (weekday lunchtime) but I was assisted by a lovely women who took me through my accounts, refunded some money that was owing, and taught me about the concept of ANZ rewards. Staff were helpful, friendly and I left feeling happy with my accounts (I live in the UK now so it kind of just sits there). I've not had any dramas with my bank over the years and this particular branch was very helpful.
