Beware. The employees decide on the spot if they'll allow your discount based upon their jealousy for your ability to scope out a good deal. I drove 40 miles plus after confirming I'd be able to use my rewards in conjunction with the daily special but once there the very rude female I dealt with stated, 'no you can't take 70% off an oz' which the amount is not the point. The point is no where do you say I can't use rewards nor did you say it over the phone. No where is there a max discount permitted etc. This is wrong. I've heard terrible things abt this dispensary from mold, to bugs, to illegal after hour parties but still decided to being a patient smh. I won't be shopping here anymore Medication is expensive as is without driving 40 miles so being a company of your word would have been nice. No separate lines to get in the building for medical or recreational. No separate lines for pickup order ahead vs not. Have lines of patients waiting outside in 10 degree weather waiting to get in. Commonweath alternative care use to be a great medical majuana facility. They have gone way down hill. The new manager Melissa is awful to her customers and to people on the phone. The phone rings and rings with nobody picking up. The delivery has been really screwed up. They would rather bring wholesale product to other dispensaries then take care of there medical patients. All I hear is how short handed they are and need more help. The Tauton location should not have been recreational to They can't even handle the medical patients. I liked this dispensary. It is easy to access, and has plenty of free parking on site. I found the staff, particularly Rich, to be very kind and knowledgeable. They were very accommodating to me in my wheelchair. They also have a few discounts available for new patients and those on MassHealth. I found the pricing to be on par with other dispensaries in the local area. If the building had a handicapped access button to open the doors, and a lower desk/seating area for staff to talk with a wheelchair user so they aren't tower over the patient, I'd give them 5 stars. If the staff hadn't been so attentive to opening doors for me and making adjustments on the fly to try and smooth the experience, I would have lowered the star count to 3. Accessibility matters, especially at a facility like this. read more

Very odd experience. From the get go I was met by aggressive security entering the parking lot. Then had to wait inline in the cold. Another security officer hovered over people in the entrance way. The next step was to pay for my pre-ordered canabis to someone in a small room separated by glass with lots of cameras. You would think that a medical dispensary would allow you too get help from a budtender to help select an appropriate strain. After paying you are allowed into the next room where you are herded directly to the person that has your ordered and the herded out. Really weird business model. Maybe the city requires them to operate like this. It almost feels like you are a bad person doing something bad. Not the experience I am looking for. read more

I bought a $30 pre roll and went home all excited. When I attempted to get it lit it wouldn't. Clearly it was a manufacturing defect. I emailed not once but twice and no courtesy " sorry for the inconveniences" no, nothing from the company. I want looking for a free bee or anything like that but a professional approach to it would have gone a long way. If there was a dispensary closer I would go. It seems like management is not trained in customer service. They're nice but very unprofessional and unhelpful. I will drive to Brockton twice a week now because this place will never get a dime outta me again. On a Saturday night my temporary marijuana license was out of date that Saturday and a" manager" seemed like she came from eating lunch with food in her mouth, and told me I had to email them the new temporary license. I love this dispensary, as a medical patient. I recently came back here and didn't know they became recreational. This isn't the first dispensary that has catered to REC before medical patients. 2 people in front of me, rec only, got their orders and left. I simply had a pick up order but had to wait. They blamed this on short staff. I understand staffing issues and having to wait longer, but that doesn't justify the fact that they say "patients first" yet do this nonsensical stuff. Medical side should be priority no matter what. This wasn't because of short staffing as they tried to say-there were 4 people talking in the back on the rec side. A rec customer came right in and was served immediately. There's no reason that a rec cashier couldn't go to the other side to cater to us patients first. This industry is tanking. read more

Lots of different choices. Nice selection of things. Knowledgeable staff. Very friendly. Nice large open area. Once the recreation starts it will be really busy. But medical will be out thru first without waiting. Medical will have one set up of counters & recreational will have a different counter area. So that's going to be nice. read more

When they first opened the flower was like dust and very dry. I am a retired/ 100 disabled Veteran. Gave me a discount then I received a call telling me that they made a mistake. Ok, next time you come in you will not get the same discount. Really not good when you're leader doesn't know your own policy. Pretty common in this industry. One place hired a new manager and this person was a shift manager for a dog food. Company Petco, come on! Gosh I am questing if you work in sales this quantify you in the expertise in Marijuana! saw the special on 11/21/23 at BROCKTON ALTERNATIVE CARE 1090 W. CHESTNUT ST...on STANDARD FARMS PISTACCIO ounces for $100 that was advertised at 30.1% THC...thought i would try one for my Thanksgiving guests so i showed my ID asked the lady at the register ...wow 30% it must be good she said yes it is...fine..next to cashier #66090 who gave me the stapled bag and i was opening it and was told i couldnt open it in the store...fine....paid and left ....got home and opened only to find out it was 20% THC after the website and budtender told me it was 30%..i flew back to see what the mistake was....only to hear the lady in red flannel shirt tell me less than an hour later she didnt remember me at all so i asked to see the manager who instantly checked the website to see if i got the TAC AND THCA mixed up...only to confirm i was correct and it did say 30%...i was told no returns no exchanges i was STUCK WITH IT....I called the cannabis control commision and was told they would lodge a complaint and look into it.....DONT FALL FOR THE SAME TRICK..... The atmosphere is nice. Place is clean and staff professional. However, I was given erroneous information about one of their products, by not one but two people, one over the phone and another in person. You see I have my own refillable vaporizer and inquired about oils that I could use for it. I was recommended a product, bought it and when I got home and opened it, the product is not an oil. It's more like a wax of some sort and though it comes in a syringe, pushing it out is like pulling teeth. I made a mess of things trying it and now I'm out $66 and got nothing to show for it. My advice to Commonwealth is to make sure the staff know their products well and if unsure about it, ask someone. I lost money on this transaction, as I left the store with it, it was sealed in a tube with a white cover, so I couldn't tell if what I was buying was what I was looking for. Also first time I went there I got a good deal on flower shake but seems like the deals are not as good as when they first opened. Im unsure if I'll be back as I'm not crazy about losing money to a business on bad information from that business's employees. read more
