The only reason I give 4 stars I can't give a 4.5 stars. No 5 star because there program they had for renewal of your medical card they used to give you 3 visits of spend over $100.00 you got $50.00 off your order. They did away with that. Now you get 20% off your order for spending over $100.00. I looked forward to this every year I renewed. They give %20 off on thier weekly specials. So it doesn't feel has appetizing. We get weed from here a lot. Great selections. My only critique and I hope this can be solved, is the pre roll issue. Every pre rolled joint we buy here canoes down the side the whole time, making it only half smokable and a waste of money. I'm pretty sure it's because they pack them too tight. The patient treatment advisors here know their medicine, are ready to answer any and all questions and, most importantly, they do it all with a smile. Listen, I am not a cannabis connoisseur. I never used it growing up, and truly had no idea what to expect when I finally, after years of urging from my doctors, looked into getting a medical marijuana card in an attempt to find some kind of relief from the intractable pain I have lived with for my entire life. Today was my first and last experience with Theory Wellness. All went fine at first. Then I went into the back and met the young man that would be helping me. You know when someone puts off that vibe that they just cant stand you and they want you gone? Yeah that was my experience. I watched around as everyone else was joking and laughing with their person. God knows I tried with My guy but nothing. I told him when I came in I had a certain amount to spend. I only spent about half of that. The Prices are higher than where I normally go and they at least treat me like I'm a human there. This place was super cool. It was clean, really fresh look and it also was loaded with customer service. I was amazed at how quick the process was, and to boot, the staff was so keen on strains and delivery methods that I felt super educated when leaving. I have been there twice. The staff seems to know what they sell. I have been a pretty regular smoker for about 50 years. Of course you never really knew what you were getting when you had to purchase "under the table". They have so many varieties your head spins. The only concern is it must be lower in THC to what I used in the past. I don't quite get the same experience as from before. I have tried a few different varieties. But I can't say anything negative about the store. But next time I will pre-order, The lines can get a bit long. read more

I'v been to this place three or four times now in the past year. My main beef with this place is that they don't give you a discount on an ounce across strains; for example, if you want half an ounce of two different strains (for a total of one full ounce) that are the same price and quantity for sale, you have to pay the half ounce price for each, which is not as much of a discount as if you bought a full ounce of one or the other. This place is about 15 minutes closer to me than NETA (and I work even closer to TW), but I always choose dealing with city traffic and a horrible parking situation over going to Theory Wellness for this reason. I mainly only go to TW when I'm in an extreme pinch or if I see that they they are having a great deal (which is rare). I can't stand how corporate NETA is, but when I save $100 on the exact same amount I purchase at TW, then my money is going to NETA. Also, I can't stand the packaging at Curaleaf, but they ALWAYS have deals to ease the burden on the bank account. TW has some very nice strains, I will give them that. Unfortunately, my experience has been that the buds you get are hit or miss. I purchased a strain on New Year's Day where the description reads, "well sculpted buds with layers of purple and orange." It was none of that, as the buds were literally the size of BB's and I even got a couple of sizable stems in the 1/4 I purchased (it was at a discount, but they should have taken that part of the description out). In a nutshell, this place is expensive, can have some interesting strains, you don't know the ATM is down until you arrive, and it suffices in a pinch. Theory Wellness is an excellent dispensary. The location is convenient for me, as I live on the South Coast, and the next closest dispensary is in Quincy, about 50 minutes away. The staff was friendly and able to answer all my questions. Most importantly, the flower is absolutely top shelf. I have tried 4 strains, the Goji OG rosin, and the 50mg raspberry gummies. Prices are about standard, maybe a little on the high end, but you get what you pay for. Some of the nicest flower I have seen in Massachusetts. The menu of concentrates and edibles is on the small side, but they haven't been open very long, so I expect they will add more products over time. Great place. Check em out. read more

BEWARE ! I do not advise people to purchase pre- rolled flower at this location. I purchased a couple different pre- rolls a while back. The quality was poor on both. I complained to management about this and they did nothing at all to correct or resolve my issue. My advise , Do not buy the pre-rolls. Make sure you look at the flower before you buy because if you are not happy with the quality they will not listen to you or help you later. Very poor management and not customer friendly. It would be a better decision just to go to a different dispensary. Have not had this problem at any other dispensary. read more

arrived 4.30pm sat, long line waiting in frigid weather, told by security that we'd get in, and shortly after the shut line down to new arrivals. 2.5hrs later, after standing outside in below 30 degree weather, i get within 3 people of being let in to shop, and then told they wont let us in- despite the manager being fully aware of the number of people in line, and outdoor security in contact with him via radio. the mngr says- please come back tmrw...are you seriously kidding? GET BETTER ORGANISED for the people who are supporting your business! you know your store location will be popular with people traveling further to visit, you know there will be long lines, MANAGE them.
