I randomly and frequently had my throat swell closed and my lips swell. I have to carry an EpiPen with my and Benadryl. I had been to two immunologist/allergists who could not help me. I had Alfa Gal from a tick bite and a secondary problem that my husband and I had found was seemed to be from sulfites found in many foods with preservatives. My son called me and suggested I try and alternative to get help with the Alfa Gal. He had spoken to his minister who also had had Alfa Gal and discovered there was a form of acupuncture that could help. He found Carmela Mager, who had 25 years of experience and had learned this particular form of therapy. We made the appointment which changed both our lives! Carmela informed us as to how she would treat the Alfa Gal ( which made me intolerant of beef, lamb and pork) and then gave me a list of things to avoid that may help. She prescribed enzymes and a probiotic which helped enormously. She told me to do some reading on sulfite allergy. I did! I found studies on it which matched my life! Dr. Ping Dr. Ping is…read moretruly the reason I have a baby. I was told, after being diagnosed with Asherman's Syndrome after a routine D&C due to a missed miscarriage, that I'd never carry a child. My uterus was covered in scar tissue and once that was cleared by a specialist in Boston, I found Dr. Ping through several fertility groups. This was truly a Godsend. Dr. Ping is more knowledgeable about women's fertility than many Reproductive Endocrinologists - and I had several. He's trained as a medical doctor in China and his approach is state of the art, holistic, empathetic, and thorough. I went to him weekly for 6 months of fertility acupuncture and we got pregnant with twin boys naturally with no medication or IVF after being told by all my doctors that we'd need to use a surrogate. As someone in my early 30's with no living children, I was clinging to any hope I could and Dr. Ping delivered. He was actually the first person I texted when the wheels fell off and we lost one of our twin boys. However, my surviving twin is thriving and such a miracle and would not be here without God and Dr. Ping. His wife is wonderful snd they both just care and want to help.
