French toast with home fries, and bacon

It's food you can make at home. And honestly, you could make it better at home. Everyone there was grumpy. We did get there 30 minutes before closing. And they were already turning away customers. I ordered French toast with raspberries and whipped cream and they gave me actual FROZEN raspberries. They were not thawed and put in sugar like normal people. They gave me frozen berries on top of my Lukewarm French toast! And the French toast was bland. My cousin ordered the Irish Benedict and the corn beef hash was chewy like beef jerky. And our potatoes were cold. It's like they were sitting in a bucket outback, and they didn't even reheat it for us. I had to go up to the counter to get my receipt so we could leave because waitors kept walking by us. The only thing that was good was my hot chocolate, and that was most likely a packet of Swiss mix. it's like sitting in grandmothers dining room except not as special or inviting.the prices aren't even worth what they give you!

This place is decent. It's the local food joint. Post and beam interior. The menu has affordably priced options, mostly typical American fare. Friendly staff and clientele. If you're in the area it won't disappoint, but it's not a destination.

    Fish and chips

We had lunch here today. We all had fish n chips. It came with Cole slaw. We also ordered a large order of onion rings to go with it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant! It is very clean and very cozy. It's not a huge place but the tables are set up so that you don't feel overcrowded. The decor is really nice and the chairs are super comfy. Our waitress, Lana, was extremely friendly and very helpful. Our haddock was cooked perfectly and the seasoning on the fries was really good. They informed us that the fish is fresh and it was! The coleslaw was also very good. I don't know if they make their own tartar sauce or not but it was very yummy. My dad and I love to dip our fries in tartar sauce. The onion rings with Crispy and oh so good. The prices here are very reasonable. I saw someone and another table eating chicken tenders and they looked really good so I might try that next time. I hope you give it a try.

Ok LOVED this local joint! Food was affordable, plentiful, locally sourced and 100% homemade. Staff was beyond friendly, genuinely happy we were there. Here's an example, told waitress I had a crown which popped out earlier that day she suggested two local dentists. Strangely ran into the same waitress two day's later at another restaurant she approached me and asked about my tooth!

I love coming back to this place for breakfast after a long night shift. The place is quaint and well kept. My go to is always the Huevos Rancheros and their home fries never disappoints.

Ranchos Huevos - Two poached eggs on chili and cheese filled quesadilla. Complimented with salsa and sour cream and side of home fries.

Wife and I came for breakfast while on vacation at Seven Maples Campground. The restaurant is clean, comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and courteous. I had Ranchos Huevos, a generous portion of chili and cheese in a quesadilla topped with two poached eggs. Salsa and sour cream on the side. Served with a side of home fries. My wife had a short stack with a side of bacon. Wife is a maple syrup snob, side was reasonable price, but for the teaspoon she uses I would have tipped the waitress more. Definitely will come back and try lunch.

I stopped by Bob's Chocolate Cafe for an afternoon break and the place was quite busy with mostly families with kids coming to and from nearby Crotched Mountain. When I was ready to order, Bob greeted me and I ordered a Macchiato ($4 plus tax), GG's Frosted Cinnamon Roll ($4 plus tax) and a 4 pk Box of Chocolate Gems ($10 plus tax) - chose, Ruby Passion Fruit, Latte, Butterscotch, & Chocolate Yum!!. The macchiato and warm frosted cinnamon roll were brought over to where I was sitting. The cinnamon roll was totally covered in sweet icing with a soft doughy texture with cinnamon. The macchiato was made very strong. I enjoyed some of the chocolates were had a sweet ganache inside. I would definitely stop by again if I happen to be in the area. PARKING: Very limited parking in front, parking lot across the traingle near the church.

Bob has done an incredible job creating this cozy venue in our small town--it's the perfect community gathering spot any time of day, with wonderful conversations and a relaxing vibe. The espresso drinks are outstanding; my favorite is the Iced Americano with coffee ice cubes, but I've been branching out to other menu items and love them all. If you're into exquisite hand-made chocolates, fresh pastries, or thoughtfully prepared sandwiches, this is the place! Highly recommend stopping by--you won't be disappointed.
