This is a nice rest stop. We didn't really rest. We accomplished our task and then briefly walked around. There is a Burger King, Sbarro and a few snack stations. There is also an assortment of vending machines without prices. You can buy lotto tickets, and EZ passes for your vehicle. Bonus points for the job postings in the bathroom. read more

Very nice plaza. Need an EZ Pass? You can get one from the vending machine near the doors by the parking lot. Get on the listed website and it tells you how to activate it. Charges are less than paying at the toll booths. Food court is changing. Looks like Burger King is out and Dunkin' is going in, along with a few others. A snack area is in the spacious lobby. Healthy snacks and junk food snacks and drinks are available. Lots of items are also in the vending machines. Always clean restrooms. read more

Ohio rest stops are the best. There is great consistency, at least the ones that run along 80/94 at the top of the state. We were road tripping from Chicago to Oberlin, Ohio today, and this was our last rest stop before we finally got to our destination. Plenty of parking, clean and spacious rest rooms, everyone was masked, easy on/off ramps, gas station, a few restaurants, too. I just needed Diet Coke, but there was a well-stocked little market and a few fast food places open. read more

For a service plaza, I'd consider this location to be good. You'll always expect prices to be inflated, food to be mediocre, and service to be minimal -- and this isn't too different. However, I did like the size and selection of options at this location. My main thoughts are: - Location is large, there's lots of space to stretch out and walk around a bit - There's a "game room" with massage chairs, a nice feature for people who may be tired from traveling - Food court has an above average selection of options and prices aren't inflated as much as I've seen in other travel plazas - Bathrooms are clean and generously sized compared to many other travel plazas. The facilities, layout, and look are above average. - Tons of vending machines, with useful information about the state bird, tree, flower, etc. - Lots of information guides - Has a trucker lounge - Lots of options for buying gifts and souvenirs, including a penny souvenir machine Overall, a nice place to stop by if you need a quick rest on a trip without driving far off the highway into town. read more

First time coming here. Needed a place to grab some food and gas while heading to the Chicago area. It's the first rest stop without a big concveinient store with it. They do have a micro store that's only big enough for one person to fit in besides the cashier. It's got clean restrooms and an expensive food court to sit and relax. The band the Commodores were actually formed right here at this little rest area. True story. OK I lied. These service areas along the Turnpike of Ohio are large and take a while to walk into because the parking lots are so massive and in general I actually kind of liked them on some levels but on other levels. They are financially absolutely awful because the problem is that they're charging you an arm and a leg just to get your damn driving on, so you're going across the country and paying insane amounts of money from say, Cleveland to Toledo, and then you get off here because you don't want to have to pay extra tolls to actually exit the highway and the gas here is more expensive (by a lot) and everything inside is very generic and very corporate and very very very expensive and we do not like that and I do not like that and who would like that and that's the reason for the really bad rating. Plenty of amenities here - lots of parking spaces and it's huge - but I give it a low rating because the gas prices are 20 to $0.30 higher than off the turnpike and of course if you get off the turnpike and they charge you extra money in tolls so they just screw you anyway they can. read more

I've been to my fair share of rest stops and service plaza's and I'll always have a special place in my heart for Ohio's ones. Sure I wouldn't stop here unless I'm driving long distance but I definitely don't feel disgusted walking in or anything. The bathrooms are always clean and extremely large. They have a few different options for food and refreshments such as Starbucks, Sbarro's, Cinnabon, and Burger King. Plus the eating areas very spacious and has some nice windows. The issue with this one is that I think it has the worst options/food of all the major service plaza's in Ohio. That may seem weird with a Cinnabon here but Cinnabon is always either closed, has no one on the counter or the cinnabons are extremely cold. The rest of the food options aren't great either as the staff definitely seems a bit slow. I think this is one of the worse service plaza's in Ohio but still definitely much better than any outside of Ohio. read more

I had a very pleasant experience here yesterday, the bathroom was incredibly clean (VERY important) and there wasn't any garbage anywhere. I didn't see any long lines either at any of the restaurants, so the workers were definitely hustling. I also spoke with a very nice EZ-pass employee and he was able to give me some helpful tips on why my transponder was probably not working. I'll definitely be stopping at this plaza again whenever I head back out east on the toll road. read more

The bathroom was clean. Seriously, what more can you ask for at a rest stop? My beef was with the Sbarro peeps. The girl took our order, put my pizza in its to-go box, and then rang us up with her food-prep gloves still on (EWWWWW, and then she went back to serving food with the same nasty gloves she'd just taken the money with!!!). This is a public health violation. So I would say, if you can, skip eating at Sbarro. read more

We travel by car a lot. A LOT. And I can say that as far as places to stop go, you could do far, far worse. The bathrooms are clean, there are snack and heavier food options available and they have a Starbucks (which I've been very pleased with!). The parking lot could've used a good cleaning on my stop there yesterday, but I don't think it's for lack of them trying to keep in clean. Service station is clean, big, and bright with all the natural light. Bathrooms clean. There are lots of carbs if you are hungry, at least there are choices I guess. Burger King, Cinnabon, Sbarro, Italian, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Carvel ice cream, and Starbucks. Parking lot was full so spaces were tight. Better than other places I guess. Plaza turnpike stop. No toll to stop here for gas and food. You will pay more for fast food options. Rest area, info racks, travel store, Starbucks, Carvel, Cinnabon, Einstein bagels, Sbarro, and Burger King. Large eating area. Poor acoustics so it is loud. Outside eating area. Pet area. Clean but they are not quick to clean tables. read more

I came here when going to Cleveland from Detroit for my annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame trip.Very spacious rest stop with restaurants, a gift shop, travel information and clean restrooms. There is a truckers Lounge with showers and laundry facilities. Great place to stop and rest. read more

I stopped here to use the bathroom, and what I walked into was not a service station. No. This was a mini-mall. This place had a food court, gift shop, game room, gigantic bathrooms, and wifi. The food court had Starbucks, Einstein Bagel Brothers, Cinnabon, and other assorted mall food vendors. Holy Cow. Other rest stops, step up the game! P.S. It was snowing here. read more

This place was deplorable. Husband and son waited over half hour for food from Burger King. Food sat on counter for 10 minutes - they never called order number. Then, order was wrong. Watched everyone else in line wait for food and receive wrong orders. I went to Sabarro Pizza. My slice of pizza was undercooked. Watched the cashier handle money, then without washing hands or putting on plastic gloves turn around and start handling the uncooked food. Ultimately had a bag of Chex Mix for lunch. I know working at a travel plaza in semi-rural Ohio is not exactly the high life or that rewarding, but the staff here is a special category of burned out. Slow, disinterested, almost like they're hoping everyone in line will give up, leave and go starve to death on the Turnpike. I only avoid giving it one star because once they help you they're not hostile, all the restrooms work properly, they have a proper gas station with attendants, and the parking lot is clean and safe. A bare minimum. It's fine for a pit stop. But hop off the Turnpike entirely somewhere else if you need something to eat. read more

Very sad excuse for customer service at Burger King inside this service plaza. #12790 We had to wait about 10 mins for our order to be taken because the "cashier" was busy making a milkshake. Then while there is a good amount of people already waiting on their food took another 15 mins to get our food. All the while you can see all the customers getting frustrated because we can see the 4-5 people in the back drinking personal beverages, slowly sweeping, walking around while ONE person is trying to bust out orders. The syrup for the soda was out and was brought to their attention, no one fixed it. Definitely should have chosen one of the different eateries. read more

I realize the showers are free for truck drivers(not really with the huge tolls we pay) but they could still be clean.. I was told when I walked in that the first two rooms were clean. She had just cleaned them. I then walked into one and took my shower and when I turned around and looked over by the toilet area , it was filthy. If that was left in that area, what was the rest of the restroom really like. Was it really clean. I guess the answer is No! Thank goodness for that can of Lysol I keep in my bag. It's really too bad that it wasn't clean. It's a nice service for truck drivers. All that is needed is someone to really just do the job. Keeping it clean benefits all! read more

In an accident and was told to stop here for the trooper, they were already here waiting, very good staff, clean, but very crowded. Starbucks staff is not so friendly, they are bz but a smiles with $5 coffee wont kill them bathrooms are clean but everytime I come by there one or more stalls out of service. Wish they had more than one family restroom. Hardly anyone takes a shower maybe more family room than shower will make this and exceptional pitstop!! read more

I make this drive quite a few times a year. This one star rating is for Einstein Bagels. Every single time you never fail to have the worst costumer service ever! You're messy, you're rude, you walk away from the counter when you have a line, you don't make a sandwich the way a customer asks, service takes forever!!!! They need to clean house. The two teenage girls that work at Einsteins (blonde and red head) couldn't hate their jobs more and it shows considering how slow and careless they make people's food. They then decided to hang out in the back without acknowledging the people that had been waiting in line for over 5 minutes. Came in here for a little Starbucks and some direction. The Starbucks lady was rude, at one point saying, "I TOLD YOU..." The Einstein bagel lady had a very unhappy attitude but didn't say anything overtly rude but the little shop near the entrance where they sell the EZ pay was exceptionally rude. When asking about rates on the toll pass she interrupted questions twice with "I can't tell you unless I look at your ticket". We had only begun to ask our question when she interrupted with that statement. We walked away saying as politely as we could that she was rude and we didn't need her help anymore. We were here at 10:40 am on June 7th and the last lady we spoke to was elderly short haired lady. I hope her manager speaks to her and to staff in general about their less negative attitude. It has been my experience that the front lines attitude is a reflection of the negative work environment created by direct supervisors. read more

It was terrible pizza. My son order a cheese of pizza that cheese separated from the crust, it was cold. We went to complain about that and she said that she will not give him new slice of pizza because he ate some of that. It was most ridiculous treatment I ever had. We stopped here knowing it would be a little over priced because most service plazas are, but it was way more than expected. The tables in the dining area were not kept clean and we did not see anyone cleaning the entire hour we were there. We ordered from BK, Sbarro and Einstein Bagels. Sbarro was kind enough to give me a small bowl of spaghetti with one meatball for the price of a small salad $4 w/ no drink for my 4yr old daughter. They did not have a kids menu. My husband and 7yr old son ate at BK for $18 (normally we could all eat for that price). I ordered the turkey club from Einstein Bagels w/ no drink but it came with a bag of chips (or u could choose a piece of fruit; i.e. banana, orange, or apple) for $9. I waited 30min for my sandwich and it was NOT worth the wait or price. I watched them make my sandwich, it took 5min to make but 30 minutes to receive. The woman cut the bread, squeezed sauce on it, put some (what looked to be from a distance) red peppers on it, then cheese. Paused, scraped the peppers and cheese off then put "fresh" cheese back on then the turkey and one bacon slice. It was microwaved for 40secs then put on the press for 1min 45sec. It was taken off the press, but there was not a wrapper ready to put my sandwich on. Instead of getting a new wrapper, the woman chose to use a wrapper already in use by a sliced everything bagel. The bagel was slid off, my sandwich opened and lettuce and tomato thrown on, then rolled up, put in a bag and finally served to me. read more
