Not only did they do the installation, but they also pointed out flaws in the wrap I had purchased online. I brought my newly purchased 2018 Porsche Macan to Gaston to get a full front PPF. Initially I was a little hesitant because from forums and speaking to other Macan owners, they said the Macan is one of the most difficult hoods to cover due to it's large size, and Gaston honestly responded that he had never done one for this particular car. I'm a big believer in supporting small businesses and giving people a chance and what a better opportunity to give him experience. Gaston was great, he took the time to come out with a stack of colors that would match perfect with my yellow accents on my car and match as close to my brake calipers. I wanted him to custom wrap the bottom of my motorized rear wing in yellow gloss with the words "caution speed gives me wings." I found little bubbles and non-straight lines but I still gave him a 5 star because overall I was happy but I would be more happy if the price was a bit lower since I removed the wing myself so I didn't have to leave my car and he would have a much easier way to apply the wrap. But since he was the closest shop to me, I didn't mind because I just wanted it done. If your looking for a shop to wrap your car and you live near Berkeley then go by his shop, if you don't live by Berkeley and your not in a rush maybe you can view your options. To be clear, Commercial Titan Wraps and the owner, Gaston, are, as the name implies, primarily focused on commercial wrapping such as advertising for commercial fleet vehicles, window ads, etc. I didn't use those services and cannot comment on that too much, but given their extensive contracts, they seem to do a pretty good job with that. My review is for Titan's services for wrapping cars to protect the paint or to create custom colors and looks. This seems to be a growing area of interest and something Commercial Titan Wraps is increasingly getting into by leveraging its expertise and skill set from the commercial side. I found out about this place on the Tesla Forum last year. Looking at options for a full wrap, I was shocked by both pricing and wait times in many of the better known shops in the East or South Bay. Some quoted me rates that were downright outrageous, not worth the price relative to the cost of the car itself (maybe for a $300K Ferrari), and as much as 6 months out. So when I saw a recommendation on the Tesla Forum, I thought I would give it a shot. And I am very glad I did. I spoke to Gaston, agreed on a more reasonable price, and brought the car in a week later. He worked on the car for about 4 days and gave me updates on progress. When I went there to pick the car up, I was initially a bit disappointed. I bring this up for those of you not familiar with the clear protection film wrap process. You HAVE to give it a few days for the wrap to fully adhere and you will see the bubbles and other imperfections disappear. After a few days, the wrap really started to look great as Gaston had promised. By the way, he uses Suntek Ultra paint protection film (PPF), which is considered one of the best options in the market and uses a pre-cut install method (he uses in-house equipment and templates from Suntek to cut the sheets). If you are looking for fully wrapped edges with single piece of PPF (and willing to have the installer disassemble/reassemble parts off of your car and cut directly on the paint), you probably need to look elsewhere. Finally, I have found Gaston to be honest, trustworthy, and willing to stand behind his work. PPF wrap projects can and do go wrong (or at least get complicated). It is important that the installer is willing to work with you. I have had a few issues with the edges and Gaston has worked with me on those and continues to stand behind his work. I will update this review as the wrap ages and further support may be needed. Bottom line, if you don't want to spend half the cost of your car on a wrap, or need it in a reasonable timeframe (before all the dings on the bumper are already there), give Gaston and Commercial Titan Wraps a shot. I think you will be happy with the decision. read more

I went to Commercial Titan Wraps the other day to purchase vinyl wrap to put on my hood. Long story short my Dumbass neighbor decided to help me. The hood was clean prepped and ready to go! Since this was a Re-wrap I had to remove the old one along with lots of old adhesive. After hours of removal and prep, the new wrap was ready to be applied!! My Neighbor and I had both sides fully open and ready to be placed down. My Dumbass Neighbor let go of one of the corners after being told several times. "Whatever you do Dont let anything go!"..............he let one corner loose and it folded over on itself‍‍ I tried to slowly pull it apart but it ripped a big hole in the middle. Clearly i was ruined.... I was so upset with all the work involved to get to this step and now its garbage..... I went back to Gaston over at Commercial Titan Wraps and he was so concerned that I basically threw my money down the drain, he and his workers actually wraped the hood for me while I was there to make sure it went on properly with no issues!! They dont make Great companies or people that care like this anymore. Im a business owner myself and I truly understand what great customer is. Shout out to Gaston and the crew!
