I come here every once in a while to drop off an Amazon return. All I need is a receipt. I prefer to do it with a person so I know it gets taken care of. But every single time I come here I get that older lady who always snaps at me "you know you can do this yourself over there at the self serve?" The first time she did this, she added "we had a big training the first day we got it" You know what, no one was at your big training. So every single time I come in I get this lady and every single time she snaps at me "there's a self serve right over there." Why does this lady not want to do her job? Can anyone explain this to me. Why do I have to get snapped at every time I come here? So today I go there, there's another lady there, a blond lady and I give her my amazon return so I don't have to deal with the angry old lady.What does she do? She gives it to the angry old lady. "Do you know there's a self serve right over there you can do this yourself." "Yes. I do know." She stands there for a second and realizes I just want her to do her job. Easy peasy especially with Amazon returns or anything pre labeled. Their self service kiosk makes it a snap to quickly print the return labels affix the package and drop in the bins. Done. Dropped a star for not so nice employee when I came and their systems was down. Just not friendly. read more

Moral of the story, DO NOT send your packages for pick-up at this location. On my tracking it showed my packages delivered on 11/28 for pick-up when I was away from thanksgiving holiday. Later that afternoon on 11/28 it shows my package as "delivered" (meaning someone picked it up). I contacted the store and stated that the packages were actually being sent back to the UPS hub. I requested them to keep my package there, but they said they can't. They stated this might just be a mistake and they will be delivered the next day, this was all stated by the associate named Frank (if that's his real name as he was very rude). When I come back from thanksgiving break on 11/30 I went to the store my packages were not there. I called the UPS hub location they don't know where my packages went. That means that UPS store or UPS truck driver stole or lost my packages. I went through so much hassle but got my money back but not my items. Be very careful delivering here. read more

Customer service by the guy was rude. I had a return and it was a large return. The return stated no box/no label and he told me He couldn't accept it and to return once I had it in a box or bag. I didn't appreciate his tone and the way he said I had to specifically bring it to him when I came back. I ended up going to the UPS in San Pablo and they gave me no issues returning it that way. They even joked that he probably didn't want to box it up himself. Please improve the attitude and be less rude to customers. read more

Look I get it, I worked front desk at city hall before. But we let everyone in until closing time. It's part of the job. At the very least post a sign somewhere stating that the last person you're serving will be at 2:50pm on Sundays. Otherwise this just doesn't fly with me. Wasn't just me, maybe 4-6 people came after me and were turned away. I was just doing an Amazon return. Not a big deal I'll wait until tomorrow, it's just why have a closing time if you don't follow it. Messed up. If there was no line you would have let people in until 3pm. So just because the line is long you stopped the line? You might as well say no one can come after 2:30pm if that's the case, basically the same thing. Not a fan of this business practice. But UPS is a necessity, I'm just complaining because I want to and can. For anyone reading this, don't bother coming here 5-10 minutes beforehand on a Sunday, they'll just turn you away due to laziness, possibly due to policy. Some understand the value of professionalism in the workplace, and those who do not. People who know the difference between helpful hints and opinion/conjecture, and those who do not. The notary I had the unfortunate privilege of working with seems to be fresh out of BOTH. I felt badly for the person working with this negative entity, who greeted me kindly and was ready to help. The notary exclaimed loudly that she had just set up her work that needed to be done and began to complain about having to move those things to complete my notary request. After more complaints and a snarky comment to her coworker about when SHE would be getting her notary's license and be able to assist, she was ready. She did not greet me or give any other cue about her readiness other than saying I need your ID. Once I got to her area, it only got worse. I won't bore you with every tiny tidbit but rather focus on the highlights. - became oddly fixated on the type of document I had. Immediately saying its format was the "bad" kind. - Used this odd fixation to then pick apart the legality of a supporting document which was NOT part of the notarization process due to the fact that it was a copy of a COPY that had been filed, accepted, and RECORDED 24 yrs ago. - Attempted to pick apart the form itself. Which at that point, my process with her was nearly complete, but seemed consumed with the need to question the legitimacy of my document. Here's the good news: this is NOT the only UPS store in the area, and some notaries are much more pleasant to deal with. I had the complete opposite experience just a few miles away at another location. It would behoove you to choose any place besides this one for your notary needs. Instead of a witness to your signature, you could end up being a resilient bit player in an episode of PPL who hate their job and can't wait to show you how much. read more

Extremely rude middle aged dark skin lady demanded i stand in line to use a kiosk to return a package even though there was multiple people waiting for the kiosks and she was standing around doing nothing at an empty counter. She then walked me over to the kiosk refusing to help me at the counter. She made a mistake at the kiosk and became very irritated when she had to take me to the counter. I understand everyone has a bad day. But relying on a customer to do the job that you are being paid to do and giving them an attitude and making a scene during "helping" them is ridiculous. More training is needed in Pinole! read more

I used to love coming to this Pinole store. Hadn't been there for a few months and wasn't aware that the new self-service stations were implemented. There was no line today and an old lady was standing there talking to someone behind the counter. I walked straight up to see Hello. She gave me this annoying look and pointed to the front of store that I can do the self-service on drop offs. I do enjoy using the new tech but this old lady really has some serious attitude issues. That kind of customer service, or the lack of, is unacceptable. What's the point of ruining anyone's day by a disgruntled employee that is unhappy working there? I was doing a Happy Return. Frankie Carusa was working putting labels on packages. A lady was waiting in front of me to be helped & was holding a large box. Frankie never acknowledged us and continued putting labels on other boxes & carried each one to the back of the store as we waited - never being acknowledged. He finally helped the lady in front of me. When it was my turn I explained my return. He was somewhat curt - saying do you have the number. I said - you aren't being very nice and he said - "that's it - goodbye." I said what are you talking about - he said I was being rude & he wasn't helping me - goodbye. I asked to speak with the manager & he said he is the manager - goodbye. He said there is a sign - can't you read - and he went over to a sign that said wait to be called. I said I would like to have a number to call to speak with whomever is above him & he said - no number - privately owned. He helped other customers but refused to help me. I called my husband & suggested we call our attorney & got his name off his shirt. He then said he would help me & said 2 people called in sick - how would I like that. I said - I don't care - I'm the customer - It isn't my business who is working there. He said - can't you see there are only 2 people here. I said I have no idea how many people are there. I expect someone to acknowledge he has customers in line & that he will be with them - basic courtesy for a worker dealing with the public. Customer service is horrible, im in here right now its 10:05am on Jan 7 2026 the staff wake up in a bad mood i walked in said good morning no one said anything back, as soon as I walked in the male employee looked at me and said we are sending you to Richmond and the lady employee looked at me and she was like ughh noo and she literally shrugged her shoulders. Let me preface this by saying I take full responsibility of my actions. My mistake led me down this rabbit hole of disappointment... I, accidentally, had my Amazon packages delivered to this UPS store. I meant to send them to the Amazon locker space a few businesses over. I, already, knew they would not give me my packages. It's their policy (according to the manager). They do not release packages to people if they are not a mail box renter. I am not. I went in this morning to let them know of my mistake & to ask them to return my packages to Amazon ASAP so I can reorder said items. They could not find my delivery... Despite receiving a message from Amazon informing me that a "Lisa" received the packages & the person I spoke to this morning confirming that a "Lisa" works there, my packages have mysteriously disappeared. I'm leaving this review because I've already experienced poor customer service from them in the past (see Google review) & was hoping to make this interaction as quick & easy as possible. But I see, after a year, nothing has changed. When you walk into the store you are immediately greeted with signs plastered all over the place, "We have the right to refuse service." This suggests they still offer poor customer service & need these notices as back up. Once again, I accept & acknowledge that I'm the one who made the mistake of selecting the wrong address. But it just seems like an easy fix. Now I have to play the role of a sleuth & find my missing packages because this store either misplaced or stole my packages. As I've stated before, do yourself a huge service & go to any other UPS store. ANY OTHER UPS STORE. I hate getting finger prints done so I called and asked if appointments were needed. Was told, "No, just walk in." I walk in was first in line of about 10 that wasn't moving due to an altercation between a man and the worker about a late fee. My application and ID got taken and I was told to stand to the side. All 10 and maybe even more were taken care of before I was ever even seen. After all slowed down I was asked if I needed something and I was hella irritated that I was overlooked and forgotten about. Be prepared to face lines out the door, especially at certain times. I am a paying customer with private mail box and amazon pick up. I try to come on off hours but still? When I joined in Aug 2025 there were several staff and were very accomodating. I did not have to wait. End of December their staff was minimal at best., and still is. This is NOT good... of course it's the economy...but UPS is a franchise. I understand the cut backs due to economy but if I am paying $$ a substantial fee every month this may not be worthwhile. read more

Got charged $3.95 for "computer use" after I emailed them 3 documents to be printed out ( using my phone and not the computer). The lady who assisted me used the computer to access their email but I'm still wondering why I was being charged for a computer I never used. I went back to ask why and they explained that each ups store is privately owned and well, that's how much they were charging here. To pay $4 because one of their workers used the computer for 5seconds....It's a Ripoff!! A few days ago I had 11color pages printed at the other location ( in San Pablo) and paid about $6 for it. I will never use this business again. There was a heavy set young man working there that was disgustingly rude. Not sure what his problem was with me but he continued to help three people that came in after me and all I needed was a couple copies. I even pre-sent them to the store already so all he had to do was print them out and charge me. Then he singles me out and tells me I need to put a mask on, which I have no problem with. I understand that every store has different rules I guess. But the kicker was when this kid told me to go stand over by a computer. Then this kid starts helping a lady that came in way after me with all her Amazon returns and doesn't make her put a mask on. What the entire FU@k?! I told him after he helped the first person after me that I was on my break and all I needed was my copies. Why didn't the other people that came in way after me have to wait the way I did? This UPS Store is a joke... I went in to DROP OFF some packages and they wouldn't let me drop them off because I didn't have a mask. Mind you- there is no mask mandate at this moment, so people are used to walking around without masks because we've haven't had one for the past 3-4 months! The store worker suggest I should take my shirt off to wrap it around my face... ok sure that's going to happen. So I can reveal my under garments to everyone right? She wasted so much time arguing with me about the mask that if I "did have covid" she would have it by now. Instead of just taking my package and trying to get me out of there fast. She also said "you can leave your packages but I won't give you a receipt". Why? So she can steal the items I was returning... nice try. I walked inside to drop off two of my packed and labeled packages. Right as I walk in the lady was so rude, demanding me to wear a mask. I walked over and said I was just going to leave my packages because they were already set go. Then she said "don't leave those packages here, I can't promise they will even be processed". As I was walking up she told me to get away. I told her I didn't have a mask, she said there was some in front. I just walked out at that point. The masks that were up front were in a dusty basket and taken out of the box, exposed. I would have probably ended up getting sick by wearing one of those gross masks.
