This would require removing tile placed or a wood wall removed on the other side of the tile; obviously creating a huge mess, expense and wall/tile repair. I called another plumber and they took the time to find replacement valves, saving me a this major expense. There are plumbers out there that will do that for customers. What a relief! It took me awhile to find Roy, aka Matthew, but when I did I hit the jackpot. He helped me over the phone one afternoon while he was working, then again at night by text when I hadn't expected to hear back until the following day or who knows... perhaps never. With his help I bought a clamp but he was concerned about the photo I sent fearing with good reason the clamp would only be a temporary fix. So he came the next afternoon, put the clamp on and then crawled under the house to ascertain the extent of my problem. When he emerged he told me exactly what needed to be done and that he would return to fix it as soon as his schedule allowed.
