A different company fixed the leak and the leak FAILED within 30 days. I was beyond frustrated. I posted in several Edmonds Facebook groups, I did some research, and I called Done Right to come out and take a look. I was immediately impressed by Steve R. and his team. I needed the ENTIRE water line replaced all the way from the house to the street, which was going to be complicated because we live on a slope and have rocky landscaping. I asked Steve tough questions, including whether his team had ever drilled a brand new line in such rough terrain, which he assured me he had. I told Steve, "I want this done once, I want it done right, and I don't want to have to worry about it again." Steve and Done Right Plumbing delivered! They installed a brand new water line, a new pressure release valve, and managed to do the whole thing without digging a trench! Done Right is the ONLY company in the area that owns their OWN drilling equipment. I would have paid more than Done Right charged, but their total price was completely reasonable. This is an honest, decent, high quality company. I hope they flourish for a long, long time. I've paid a lot of plumbers over the years for subpar work. There were few things that really stood out to me. 1) This is a small local company and Sharif, the person I spoke to on the phone, assured me that the person I'm speaking to is the person that will be there to do the work. 2) Sharif was extremely professional with how he conducted the work. He brought an apprentice and overheard some of the pointers he gave, which included being mindful of the aesthetics of the work and bringing extra supplies in case something needed replacing. 3) Sharif, after replacing some piping valves, reattached the water lines in a way that was organized and held in a way that would prevent a movable water faucet head from getting caught and potentially causing damage. There were no updates, no follow-up, and no accountability. By October 2025 after months of silence, we cancelled the service and requested a refund. It is now December 2025, and despite repeated calls and constant reassurances that the refund is "being processed," nothing has been returned to us. At this point, their lack of communication, failure to honor the agreement, and ongoing delays have left us no choice but to involve legal counsel to recover the money we are owed. While their "contract" states 30% nonrefundable, I cannot accept that their failure to perform, bad faith, unjust enrichment, and potential breach of contract would be an excuse to have them keep the money that's rightfully ours.
