My husband and I would leave zero stars if we could. Where should we start? My husband purchased a computer and all peripherals about a year and a half ago for $8,000 total - this is a top-of-the-line gaming PC with the works. After upgrading to Windows 10, we started having problems with the computer restarting on its own. We figured it was the power supply, so we purchased a new power supply and took it into Command to see if the staff there could install it. It took staff at Command over two weeks just to test the computer to determine that the issue wasn't the power supply. It took another three weeks to determine that the problem was actually a program in the computer that was incompatible with Windows 10, that was causing the computer to reboot. In the meantime, staff at Command diagnosed a "problem" with the memory, a replacement for which we also purchased, even though we had a warranty on the memory currently in the machine. We were told that staff at Command would send the old memory in for a warranty refund and credit us when we paid and picked up the machine. This did not happen, and so we are technically still owed money by Command. We paid over $400.00 to Command for the repair/service and we also purchased the new memory and the power supply, so we are out over $800.00 for repairs and equipment at this point. We were so happy just to get the machine back, we didn't care that the temperature/fan control/processor readout was not working. YES - it appears that they broke items that were working just fine BEFORE we took the computer in. They then wanted to charge us to fix that. No thank you, we were just glad to get the computer back after FIVE WEEKS. During that five weeks, my husband went in several times to check on the progress of the repairs, since it seemed impossible to reach anyone at Command by phone. Every time my husband went in, the shop (including our computer) was covered in sawdust, and parts and computers were all over the place. It was a mess. Additionally, we've read reviews similar to this one for Command on Google, Facebook, and Yelp. Several other reviews mention the difficulty in obtaining their computers, laptops, or parts. I wonder what happens to these items if they are never returned to the owner (our old memory, for example). I'm sure anyone reading this can put two and two together. I truly could write a book on all the ways Mike and his team helped me and my computer troubles! About 3 weeks ago I brought in an older Dell tower running Windows Vista on my home computer. Now I am not what you would call "techy" nor "computer savvy" but I do research quite a bit and after attempting to solve my computer issues independently with no success I headed to COMMAND.COMputers. Mike answered every question I could think to ask and really went above and beyond for me. When it came to getting me set up with wifi, updating my software, getting rid of bugs, or installing simple things like Microsoft Office I was so impressed with the overall kindness, generosity, and sheer knowledge I received. A gigantic thank you to Mike and his team for such a great computer. I've been running it now for about 3 weeks and have had zero issues. So grateful for this small business in the Maple Valley community. I will definitely be a returning customer and will continue to recommend COMMAND.COMuters to friends and family. IF YOU HAVE A BRAIN IN YOUR HEAD, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT GOT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This review should be a huge 0 star. There should be an option for that. If you have seen the other reviews, it is CLEAR that this place is complete garbage. I was quoted 24-28 hour turn around for a data transfer on a work computer right before Christmas. He guaranteed it would be top priority because it was a work computer and I stressed how badly I had to have it by the work week. He said no problem. We had a power outage that lasted about 10 hours the next day. Instead of staying and finishing the job on a computer the day after when they told me to pick it up, they decided to NOT wait and see if the power came back on, but left for a 4 day vacation. No calls. Nothing. He told me later the power was out for 4 days so they couldn't work. BULL! I was there for an hour outside the day they said to pick it up. It was on. They weren't there. I had to contact them when they got back. They had a million excuses. They always do. They said the boss wasn't back yet and they (the interns he calls employees that have NO idea what they are doing) said they couldn't help and I had to wait. He leaves these incompetent employees alone constantly and has them doing things they have no idea how to do. Then they also have to take the guff for his bad work ethic. I CALLED THEM the next day and Mike said that it was ready. I called before coming down a couple hours later just to make sure. Two confirmation calls. They said it was good to go. I got there and it WAS NOT READY. They told me to come back the next day. I made 6 TRIPS IN ONE WEEK. We FINALLY got my computer back an entire WEEK later. I had not been able to run my business for a whole week and I lost so much business because of it. No apologies. No discounts. In fact, they tried to up-charge us for already over priced work! If you can call it work. I found they missed transferring some of my files and i sure as hell wasn't going to take it back there. They still had my other computer we transferred from which had an issue. After 2 weeks and driving up there TWICE MORE they said they had to order something but Mike was off teaching ski lessons and wasn't back for a week. WHAT?! This is your JOB! If you want to ski, then quit computers! For the love of GOD, just quit computers anyway! Do us all a favor! Later we find out the info was wrong and he forgot to tell us he couldn't fix it and it was a different problem. But he insists he told us. NOPE. I told him I was coming to get my hard drive and he argued with me about weather or not I should be able to have my own computer back. A computer that worked when I brought it there, but now wouldn't power on once he touched it. He said it was buried behind other computers and didn't know when he would have time to put it back together and wanted me to recycle it with him. After him laughing at me on the phone over my silly request to have my computer and him being IMPOSSIBLE to work with I said I'm coming now to get my hard drive. Which he also argued about. When I got there he rudely asked what I wanted. When I informed him I wanted my computer back he gave me a huge, passive aggressive, Fuck You laugh and smile explaining that I "clearly didn't understand what he meant when he said it was buried and this was very inconvenient." INCONVENIENT FOR HIM?! Wow. He tried to argue with me and said he "told me to call and inform him if I wanted it." NO. He didn't. This was the third lie he's thrown at me. Every time I've spoken with him he lies about something else. Then he had the balls to say to me, "I'm busy. I'm in the middle of something. Can you come back some other time?" WHAT?! I told him NO. I could not. This is my 8th trip here and I am NOT coming back. Instead of apologizing for all the inconvenience he caused me, the gas money, the time wasted, the irreparable damage to my business, destroying my other computer and still having the balls to charge full price, HE LAUGHED. He laughed in my face. Let me know how inconvenient this was for him at the moment and couldn't seem to comprehend giving me my stuff back. I told him to put it in a bag or a box in pieces. I didn't care. After further argument he finally did it. He made it very clear what a hassle it was to do all this as he moved two things out of his way to access my destroyed computer. He violently put it in a bag and thrust it at my face. I thanked him for my things and he simply said "yeah" and turned away. This is probably the best you can expect from this place. Don't be an idiot. Go somewhere with more than a 1.5 star review rate. He's not cheaper than other places and your computers will suffer. He wants your old computers so he can sell them to some unsuspecting person. His workers are not trained properly or just don't care. There is so much miscommunication. Who ever the owner is is completely RUDE! When he first opened his location at 4 corners he was unloading and had roped off 2 parking spaces. I parked legally in a spot next to where he had roped off the 2 parking spaces. He storms in the nail salon where I was at and very loudly yells at everyone in the salon " Who the hell parked in my spot? They need to move their damn car!" "I had it roped off!" I didn't "move" anything and I parked on the other side his "ropes." When I arrived I thought oh, a computer guy who I can take my laptop into! Well, clearly not after this. If that's how he chooses to speak to people, then he doesn't need my business. Won't ever go there or nor will I ever recommend that place. read more

Do not go to this business unless you appreciate an owner with a poor work ethic, terrible, customer service, and want to be verbally threatened. It took filing a police report to get my equipment back from him. I had taken an item in that he worked on an did fix and got it back to me, but he was rude and charged me more than the item was even worth. I had no choice but to pay I felt because he had another item I dropped off at the same time. I tried to be as nice as possible to him under the circumstances figuring he was probably just rough around the edges and it would all work out. This was just before 4th of July, he was moving his store and seemed aggitated and stressed so I accepted that he'd need time. He kept using the moving excuse for months! I finally went in with my husband and asked for my drive to be returned, he refused! I had to call the police to get resolution to this. Everytime I called to check on it he would argue with me and even hung up on me. I've never met someone so unprofessional with absolutely no sense of costumer service. Where to start? This business owner has the most explosive attitude/ temper I have ever run across, and he puts himself in the position to start problems with customers for no reason. Just the worst ever to deal with. Several days late, he calls me finnaly to say my computer is done. I siad ok.. where can income get it... he refused to give me a pick up address and persists to tell me i can get it from my wife as she is the one who picked it up the first time he had it days 2 weeks prior. I had to ask him nicely 6 times, still refused and said he would give it to me once i was on my way there at a set time we agreed upon. Then went on to tell me to "never call on my " home" number ever again... everyone keeps doing it and I'm sick of it" but he called me from it, left no message so i called it back to see who didnt leave a voice mail. Makes no sense to call from a number you dont want anyone calling you at, but yet your business number goes to the house too.... why not call customers from THAT number and no one will return calls from the caller ID to his " home" number. So he brings this on to start issues with people it seems. Agreed time 215pm. . So now im driving towards covington, called him at 145pm... asked for address, he asked me where i was.. said i was on my way to coving from renton and i will be there at our agreed time... he says he needs to know where I am... I said I'm on my way from renton, we have an agreed time, he flew off the handle and started yelling/ cursing at me saying I was an asshole to him and hung up on him last three calls, told him he was mistaken me for someone else, we never has issues on the phone. My wife refused to go pick it up because she was given a number to call, at the drop off location, a friend's business...mailbox place... they gave her a number to call him to say it was there waiting for him... he flew off the handle at her for calling his "home" number that his friend at postal business gave her to call him, she explained this to him but he continued to yell at her for calling his home number vs business number, so it really seems he intentionally starts issues for what ever reason. Now picking up at his home... he was very rude at the door, i asked how he stays in business, ooooooh.. NOW HE'S PISSED, came flying out the screen door in my face and proceeded to scream at me... not low tone voice, NO...THIS WAS SCREAMING LOUD. He told me to GET THE F#@k off his property... at that point i refused to turn my back to him... stood there and told him to go call police, to get him away from me, after a few more words yeld in my face he turn went back in his house saying he was calling police, great now he's away from me to i turned and walked down his steps and here he comes again so i turned and squared off with him... computer under left arm... right hand ready to defend myself... this is All heard on my phone as it was recording video from my jacket pocket. . Yes i recorded just in case something went wrong after reading all Yelp complaints, and him going off on my wife and them me on the phone. After a tense yelling match, mostly him calling me several names, fu*kin prick, a$$hole muthrf*kr and so on, he turns to go call police again, once he went back into the house i calmly walked down his driveway.. he again comes out with a camera and takes pictures of me and my truck... good for him...he has memories now. I only listened to the video once, but after my wife listed to it...she says its really hard to believe this guy can stay in business at ALL. He seriously needs counseling and owner operator ethics training. Never have i had this type of issue with a business owner. Ps. Want to hear and see what little video there was? This business is not what I would call user friendly. It's cramped, (like a hoarders place). There are usually one/ two kids there to give you customer service and they can't answer any questions. The owner has a bad attitude and crappy people skills. They have set hours, and rarely open on time. They did work on my computer and never received an invoice or a paid slip. I don't know what they did or if they really did anything to my PC because I ended up having to take it to competitor which did actually fix it. So I spent almost 200.00 for them to do nothing and the competitor 45.00 to fix. You be the judge. He has now moved to another location, and I can't fathom how he came up with enough money to move when he treats his clientele so poorly. read more

Awesome repair shop! So I have a MAC laptop and an old one in todays times :) It has not been working right for a while to the point where I was unable to open most websites, could not save anything to the laptop hard drive, frequently had errors and programs that would just shut down..... The fan was also out and had been for a while. In general the only thing it was good for was looking through photographs and as a graphic designer thats not good! I took it to a small shop near my office in another town. The owner was an apparent Apple technician who embarked on his own... I question this since he was not helpful nor did he repair my computer! They did nothing really other than wipe the computer clean then reload my software... after that it did not work at all! We had a friend of ours run over his laptop and he took it to Mike at Command Computers. He was able to repair my friends laptop so he could use it again, so I thought let me see how he does with a MAC. I did not want to drive the hour it can take to the Apple Store. Mike ran my computer through several diagnosis to check the hard drive and the inner workings of my computer. He explained things very well (even though some of it was foggy to me), gave me options AND stayed under my budget and right on what he said it would cost!! It took a couple of weeks, but that to me was worth the wait! My computer works like it did when I first purchased it back in 2008, including the fan!! I have more memory and it actually shuts down when you turn the computer off instead of taking 15 minutes like it used too!! I highly recommend Mike and his repair shop in Maple Valley, WA! Don't ever take your computer to this guy. I took my mac in waited weeks for a diagnosis then weeks for parts. Then the cost was more than what it was to get a new one. ( almost ) . He tried to sell me one of his lap tops. To make a long story short I said no just wanted my mac back. I got it back in pieces and the parts that I paid for were bad.( checked at the apple shop) Bought an iPad and tried to use the keyboard from the mac and the battery cap was glued down. Couldn't get the old batteries out. Must have made this guy mad. He made sure I wasn't going to fix this somewhere else. If I had my way he'd be thrown in jail, let alone have his own buisness. read more

Mike is the best, has been able to diagnose and repair every single hardware and software issue we've ever had, amazing for a guy who is self taught, he is very generous with his time. While he's probably a little out of the way for most people out in Maple Valley, he's worth the trip. read more

Have used this business several times and never had a problem. This time however was very different. My husband took his laptop in for repair and was told that it was unrepairable so we had them put the iformation on an external drive for us. When my husband went in to pick everything up, only the external drive was avaible for us. He asked where was his computer and they weren't sure. My husband went back 3 times to get his computer and the same thing, he also left several missages with no call back. After 8 days I called and left a message, finely got a call back and Mike was so rude to me and hung up on me. He was very angry that we wanted back our computer. When I went in to pick up the computer,it was in several pieces and I was told to "Have at it". When you take in your computer regardless if it is unrepairable acording to him, you should NOT have any trouble getting your computer back. I have never been spoken to so rudely by any business and I am no in the habbit of writing bad reviews. This time I felt the need because of the service...NO EXCUSE to treat anyone the way I was treated all because we wanted back our computer. read more
