AUTOMATIC FIVE-STAR RATING! Okay, besides that, Now or Never is one of the few (if not only) comic book stores in Downtown San Diego. It's actually cleaner and more organized than the ones I frequent, but the relatively small size of the building means they don't have as much in stock as I'd like. Case in point, I wanted to show my appreciation for supporting SDCC by getting a couple of graphic novels of Trese and Usagi Yojimbo, but the ones I wanted weren't in stock. I called to ask if a certain variant cover for a new issue was in stock and he gave me the NASTIEST attitude, I was in complete shock. It wasn't what he said it's HOW he said it. As if I was an inconvenience, a customer? Maybe he was overwhelmed since there was 7 customers in the store like he stated but again he could've had way better attitude I mean it is 10AM lively up! Checkout went smoothly and the cashier was so friendly! We ended up getting 2 young reader books and 1 blind box for $35 (not too bad!). I would recommend visiting this location if you happen to be at Grossmont Center.
