Stopped by for the first time today will be back very soon, super friendly and helpful staff. Great experience overall

Lot of comics and even kid comics.
Scott D.

We all wish we had super powers. We all wish we could do more than we can do. Stan Lee - As a kid you ever dream about being a superhero? What would be your powers, who would you save? Reading comics, watching the movies can open your imagination. Well Comic Command Center has you covered. From comics, magic cards, toys, figurines and games. The owner Josh has been helpful and a superHero to my family and i. He has shown my kids and i many things about anything they see and ask. From showing us collectables and the differences from regular and the rare ones and what to look for. From cards and how to protect them from the correct size sleeves and the which ones are available for each game. Some will protect your card and fit just right. And others can be to big and allow your cards to bend which did nothing for you as you wanted it to. He even let my son touch the cards and shuffle them as he just showed him. He has patience and loves to teach everyone. For me, showing my young kids all this and have the patience is A+ in my comic book! They do alot here feom family game night on sundays 5pm to 8pm and other random game nights from magic and yu-gi-o. Call or check them out for the latest info. They have comics from Dc, marvel, revolution and wayyyy more, even some local artist from Sacramento. Buy, sell or trade i have heard people doing in the shop. While it is a smaller shop they have a good selection of many items. If your looking to start a collection, grow a collection or look for something in the realm of comics give them a look. If you can't find something ask, they will gladly help you on your venture.

Okay, bookstore lovers this place is the real deal. Three floors of books organized by vibe: main…read morefloor has your general selection and kids books, top floor is romance, and the basement is where the horror and sci-fi live. Naturally, I spent most of my time downstairs. The bookseller on the lower level was so knowledgeable! We got into a whole conversation and they pointed me toward several horror picks I never would have found on my own, including some horror graphic novels I'm genuinely excited about. That kind of interaction is exactly why indie bookstores matter. They also have an in-person horror book club, which honestly made me a little sad because I couldn't join. If I lived in Sacramento, I would 100% be a regular here. Highly recommend if you're passing through.

Excellent bookstore, with particularly robust nonfiction section--well organized, easy to navigate,…read moreall the books in appropriately labeled shelves. And again, interesting book available! Pricing is affordable ($5-10). Fiction selection was well-populated, including not only the usual best-sellers, but what seemed like a curated collection of interesting books from the past several decades. I didn't spend much time looking at the classics section (again, always appreciate having classics separated out from fiction), but it was reasonably sized. Overall, recommend, I could have spent much longer browsing! I will certainly keep it in mind for another visit the next time I am in the area.

This is a Sacramento classic. Beers was on S before if I recall correctly. This new location is…read moreseveral years new now, but still "new" to those of us who've been coming to Beers for decades. I remember browsing books here, especially sci-fi and classics from my 20s, good times. The store is much bigger now and has a lot more to offer. Bookstores have transformed themselves to sell a lot of other items these days, I'm old school and used to just books and more books, but it's kind of cool to see records, and some gift items that come in handy for a last minute gift-giving. The amount of Knick knacks here were quite a lot though. Could be a bit dizzying. I saw canvas bags, Tsweatshirts, and souvenirs on sale. Staff is generally helpful if you are looking for something in particular and can't find the book or that category of books. The thing that set Beers apart is that they have a lot of used and/or specialty books you might not find in other store and just won't come across online if you're not into that topic or don't know that author, but here, you might just be browsing and discover a new book genre or a new author in a genre you already read, and that is what makes Beers cool.

My family and I frequent this place and find that the time does pass by here quite quickly...quite enjoyably. There are seating areas around where you can take a book for a spin before purchasing. There's just so much to enjoy... The place is brightly lit and well decorated. Apart from books, there's a lot more other things you can buy...vinyl records, toys, even model kits you can assemble in your spare time. And there is always the staff, friendly and knowledgeable about the store and its merchandise. The items are a little on the expensive side, but the quality is worth it. Summertime in Arden can get quite hot, but a relaxing visit to Barnes and Noble here in the Arden Fair Mall area is cool!

As someone who has loved reading since childhood, bookstores have always been a special place for me--and this location has never lost its charm. Whenever I'm near the mall, stopping in here is a must. It's honestly a little dangerous how easy it is to walk out with several books, so I have to pace myself--but that just speaks to how great their selection is. They consistently carry a wide variety of genres I enjoy, and I always find something that catches my eye. The staff have always been helpful and approachable. Whether I've needed help tracking down a specific title, requesting something not in stock, checking a price, or even signing up for a rewards card, they've made the process smooth and easy every time. Over the years, I've also loved seeing how they've expanded beyond books. There's a great selection of board games, anime merchandise, and other fun finds, which makes browsing even more enjoyable. The store is well-organized, and I have always loved that you can freely flip through books before deciding to buy. I've purchased everything from genre fiction to cookbooks, toys, and picture books for my son when he was younger--there really is something here for everyone with a love for stories and a bit of whimsy. Prices are fair, the quality is great, and I've even discovered new authors and series I wouldn't have found otherwise. This Barnes & Noble will always hold a special place in my heart. It's more than just a bookstore--it's a place full of memories.
