Was tired of using swamp coolers ( I've used them for almost 30 years up here) got the stand alone plug in AC units, they were great to cool a single room, except for the almost $1000/month electric bill. Called a couple places for quotes on the duct less mini split units. Yuri had the best price! Had 3 units installed back in July, took about 4 days for completion. But they did a fantastic job! And they work wonderful, cools the entire house, to cold at times. And my electric bill is now under $400 (I have a in-ground pool also). read more

Did not honor the response price that their front office gave. Front office told me 45.00 and the a.c. tech charged me 95.00. A.c. tech told me to change my filter and clean the condensor. I did both of those things and the air is still not cold. I've never encountered a home parts repair man who told me to do his work then charged me for it before. I was initially very happy with Comfy Air's service. But two problems I discovered: 1) Once I moved into a much nicer new office, the prices got higher and higher. 2) After multiple trips and escalating ($400, $800, $1000) repair bills, they were unable to repair either of our mini-split air conditioning units. After 3-4 trips and a lot of money, they figured out that on one system, my external and internal units aren't compatible with each other, and the other, well, they don't know why it won't work. I feel like I should be paying for expertise, not for someone to try to learn on the job on my dime. So if you have a very nice house office, or if you need service on mini-split air conditioners, don't call these guys. read more

Scam alert! I was referred by select home warranty and comfy air quickly diagnosed the problem as fan motor for $550 which was denied by warranty company, then that didn't work and they said it was gas valve for $685 but they'll give me a deal for $350. (It was probably gas valve all along) Then 1 day later the heater is clunking on occasion and died 3 days later. They came and said it was the motor bracket and it's a $900 fix and they have no responsibility for broken bracket even though it broke while they were working on it. Very dissatisfied! And guy that came was rude. He left my thermostat on first day he came and I didn't know it until late at night and when I asked him if that could've done any damage he replied "you could've just turned it off". Well I did turn it off when I realized it was on because I can hear the clicking sound in my bedroom when I was going to bed. And they had to order each part and I was without heat for 13 days between all their visits and stuck with a broken furnace still. read more

Had this company come and inspect my house prior to purchasing it and they stated it worked good. The weekend we moved in and had family helping the ac would not go below 80 degrees. We called our warranty company and they sent out a company a week later. During that time the unit would work off and on, cooling the house below 80 and sometimes not. The home warranty company came and stated that the coil was failing with one quick test. That is unexceptable. If you are hired to approve a house please do a good check. Not just say it works. Having to pay for out of pocket expenses for work warranty doesn't cover. I also attempted to contact the company and the owner just got an attitude and asked to hire him if I wanted. We had our ac unit decided to die during a heat wave in June and my Husband and I called several places that said the soonest they could see us was a week or so out. Well Comfy Air came the next day!! Within 15 mins the tech had the cold air blowing. The cost was so extremely reasonable and he was so nice. There again during this late extreme heat wave our ac decided to die again(Yes we need a new one but who has $6,000 laying around) Any ways on Sunday afternoon my Husband called and again Comfy Air was there the next day at 11:00 am. The gentleman, Yuriy Litvin found it was a simple wire on the inside of the unit that came loose and shorted out. It was done in about 2 minutes. He didn't charge us because Comfy Air wasn't sure if the call was warranty work and he said it was so simple that a charge was not necessary.
