Crack pipe found between blanket and decorative duvet.
    Nichole A.

The housekeeping staff at Comfort Suites in Waldorf, MD are not changing the bed linens which is a huge health and safety concern. I found a CRACK PIPE on my bed hidden between the blanket and the decorative duvet. If the bed linens were changed, there is no way that would've been still on the bed. I was traveling with my 2 year old. What if she found it and not me??? I've read numerous horror stories about kids finding hazardous items in their hotel rooms and putting the items in their mouths. It is officially holiday season and millions of families will be traveling and staying in hotel rooms. This is a huge safety concern.

My best advice is Do NOT stay here ! The place is disgusting. After checking in and seeing the rooms I knew we were in a bad spot. The rooms are very outdated which I can handle. Clean ? Not so much! I checked the beds to make sure they were clean and decided after the very long drive with a new born that we would stay for the night while looking for some place else . ( Pictures of the dirty room included ) That evening while going to the adjoining room there was other guest in the hallway a few " working Girls" and one man walking with a joint in his mouth! I let the front desk know and was told they would preview the tapes to see who it was . I expressed to her at this time that I was concerned about the safeness of the hotel . Once again, I was traveling with kids. We stayed in our rooms the rest of the night . Walked out of our room at 8am to head someplace else for breakfast, ( don't even ask about the so called free breakfast. I would'nt eat at a place I did'nt even feel safe to sleep at ) and there is a lady getting out of the pool in her bra and panties ! The pool is located in the lobby area of the front desk as well as the breakfast area. I will include pictures of the lovely Green Pool! To make a long story short, I told the front desk that we did not feel safe and would be checking out. I had booked two nights and paid thru my third party credit card so when asked about a refund for my second night I was told that the to call my Credit Card Company and the Hotel would confirm that we left and would could get partial credit. This is all a lie! The tell you that to let you leave and then when my credit card company called them they stand by there 24 hour cancellation policy. They don't even want to discuss why you left. It don't matter . 24 HOURS or you pay. I have called The Hotel and was told they were changing owners and would love to give me a free stay but because they did'nt receive direct payment from me that they cant refund any money. My credit card company says they have the 24 hour clause that they cant get around. So my best thing to do is move on and warn others. Unless your sleeping on the streets , I'd pick some place else! an update to all of my many Phone calls and back and forth , I got No money back and I went and stayed at a nice Clean Hotel thanks to my wonderful Son in Law for bailing us out of a bad situation.

How the towels and sheets were delivered to the room

Don't stay here. Hotel is ghetto and poorly staffed. I'm speechless on the condition of the room . Room wasn't properly cleaned. No lamp shades , no blanket, fridge running dripping water. Microwave dirty. Worst place to stay in Waldorf.

Our stay was pleasant!…read more My partner and I stayed here overnight. First of all, as soon as I pulled up, I was glad to see they had charging stations. We drove from Baltimore to Waldorf to attend a cookout so that was clutch. When you walk into the entryway, the ceiling is very high and the hotel is open, airy and spacious. It gives that welcoming feeling! I like that. It also appears modern. We arrived right at check-in and there was one person in front of me, one person behind me, and there was only one receptionist at the front desk. However, she was very polite, professional, and cordial to all of us. Also, I don't know how this happened but we both forgot our toothbrushes. I went to the hotel shop to purchase some and couldn't find any. I asked, the receptionist who had him behind the counter and gave me two. That's good to know. I must say, I DID NOT appreciate having to pay $10 for parking when I parked my vehicle, it did not move, and there a huge parking lot with plenty of parking spaces. I can see if I use ballet, which they don't have because you don't need it, but I parked my car (PERIOD). It screams money grab. Aside from that, our room was spacious. The bed was nice, the air conditioning was working and everything was as it should be. We were on the fourth floor and had a perfect view of the fireworks when we got back to the room. One thing I think I should note is that there was no safe in the room. Breakfast was served in the morning along with coffee, etc. Overall, I would stay here again.

And also the sign in the bathroom says housekeeping is provided every other day during your stay. That's not true. We stayed for 3 nights and we had to request house keeping, when we asked the front desk she said they only do it if you stay past 3 nights. We don't care so much about the changing of the sheets and stuff but the garbage needed to be emptied and towels replaced. I called one evening to get towels to the room she told me i needed to go to the front desk to get them.

They technically don't let people check in before 3pm and we were there before 1pm. The front desk clerk was less than enthusiastic about working with us and even begrudgingly acknowledged and thanked my wife for her diamond Hilton status. She was planning to put us in a room worse than what we reserved until the manager showed up and said they need to take care of diamond members. She then gave us a solid room and early check in. As tired as we were, we were super grateful. The room decor was fine. The bed was not very comfortable and be warned that the shower door only opens on one side. While it looks like a double slider it is not. The problem with this is that it forces you to enter the shower directly under the running water instead of at the back and where you can better gauge when you want to get wet based on water pressure and temperature. The couch also had stains on it and the breakfast was average at best. But of course the breakfast was free so I won't complain much about that (you get what you pay for). The staff was hit and miss with some being cheery and friendly and others looking past you like you don't exist. I also got a chuckle at the fact that when we checked out via the app the tv instantly switched from the channel to the generic welcome screen. I guess that means get out this instant! I've never seen a switch so fast. But that's ok. The manager made the experience better but overall it was an adequate stay that could/should have been better.

This hotel has been upgraded the halls, rooms and decor are nice. The staff was very friendly as well except the Friday morning gal checking our room numbers for breakfast was on her phone the whole time. Also, Saturday morning breakfast was late 6:10. We almost had to miss it we all had to leave for our event. I would definitely stay here again.

My stay at this hotel was unfortunately disappointing. While the room itself was decent overall,…read morethe cleanliness fell short--specifically, the shower had not been cleaned prior to my arrival, which is unacceptable. When I reported the issue to the front desk, the response was very dismissive. I was simply told, "okay, we'll let housekeeping know," with no attempt to resolve the issue during my stay. The most concerning part of my experience, however, has been post-checkout. I inadvertently left my Apple Watch in the room, and despite calling the hotel daily for the past week, I have received no resolution or meaningful follow-up. Meanwhile, my device is still showing at the hotel location, which adds to the frustration. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, and failure to properly assist with a lost item have left a very negative impression. I would not recommend staying here unless there are significant improvements in both housekeeping standards and guest support.

There was no ice machine. The shower didn't get hot but it was always warm enough to take a shower but barely. The sound on the TV is not good and the remote barely worked and had a bad lag but I was able to use the room and it's amenities as expected. The reason I didn't give it a lower score is because the staff was very polite and friendly. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. Even the hallways were clean, even the space where they were renovating was in good condition. This was just a staycation for me because I needed 7 more days to move up to the next tier and since I was that close, why not, right. I will definitely come back once they are put all back together so I can update this review.

Their demeanor was as if I were bothering them. The whole place smells like smoke and mold. The room was filthy. All of the furniture was very old and worn. The bed sheets had MULTIPLE stains. I got in at 11 PM and had an early morning. I ended up having to put my sweatshirts between me and the pillow / bed sheets because I was afraid to use any of the bedding. There was dust everywhere and the whole place smelled like mold and smoke, even though it was a non smoking room. I needed to shower but didn't have any shoes I could were in the shower.
