We stayed here while in town for a family wedding. I am pretty sure that just about all of the out of town guests were staying here...mostly because the couple organized a free shuttle to and from the open bar reception from this hotel. Despite being very full and busy, they were able to accommodate an early check in for our room. The bed was comfortable, and gratefully we were at the end of the hall, as far away from the elevators as possible. The only real issue was a loose faucet in the shower. The staff was quietly tolerant of the massive group of people. Which is about as much as I could hope for. We were numerous, very rowdy, and quite inebriated. If you are in the area to go to Kings Island, this is an a-ok place to stay. If you are doing Cincinnati stuff, it is a bit too out of the way. I don't know if I would have an opportunity to stay here again, but it wouldn't be awful if I did. Kudos for housing and handling a large, wild and crazy party of wedding guests! read more

Do NOT stay here. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever experienced. If there was a rating less than 1 star I would have chosen that. We stayed at this hotel with students for the WGI Championship and encountered extremely poor customer service, unsafe conditions, and serious cleanliness issues--including bed bugs. Multiple members of our group were affected, and we were informed that another group experienced the same issue. Beyond that, the condition of the rooms was unacceptable. We found hair on the towels, stained sheets, a malfunctioning shower with little to no hot water, and doors that would not properly close or lock. The pull-out couch was covered in crumbs, there was a dirty handprint on the sheets, and even rubber bands from braces left on the bed. Trim was falling off the walls, and key cards repeatedly failed to work. We stayed for four days, and not once were our rooms serviced--no fresh towels, no toilet paper restock, and no trash removal. Safety and sanitation were also major concerns. The lobby doors were never secured at night, and after breakfast, staff wiped tables with their hands rather than using any disinfectant. Customer service was equally unacceptable. When we requested to speak with a manager, we were told none would be available until Monday--after our departure. Due to these conditions, I have contacted the health department and the hotel's corporate office. This hotel is not safe or suitable for guests. I strongly urge others to avoid staying here unless you are willing to risk your health and safety. read more

After a long day of traveling all I wanted was a shower. But this place has no hot water coming out of the shower but hit water coming out of the sink. So I washed off thinking I would be able to get a shower in the morning. Well was I wrong ! I called the front desk to get information about when I might be able to get a shower an was meet with an attitude over the phone from the very beginning of my conversation. An was told to shut up stop talking an get my stuff an leave the hotel and not ever come back... the hotel is not a very nice place at all I had rather sleep in the street than ever stay here again. I have to give them a star in my book they get none but to post a review I have to give them one. They don't deserve it read more

Not the cleanest. Laundry facility didn't work, pool water was not clean, rooms smelled musty, air conditioners didn't blow real cold, breakfast could have been better. Coffee didn't taste good. No screens on windows if you wanted fresh air. Would not stay here again. read more

The building is old and outdated. The room smelled stale and moldy. The free breakfast was a joke. The price that they charge does not represent what you get. The toiletries are substandard at best. I will never stay here again and l recommend the two hotels across the street, they look newer and cleaner. The location was perfect as it was Right next to Kings Island. The room was clean and had a mini fridge, tv, phone, clock, hair dryer, and microwave. Downstairs there is a community washer and dryer. We left the park about 9:45 and had a spectacular view of Kings Island fireworks from our room window. Sunday morning breakfast was a variety. They had waffle makers, cereal, bacon, scrambled eggs, a variety of breads and muffins, fresh coffee etc... Breakfast was crowded, but other vacationers were friendly and accommodating. The staff also opened the meeting room so more people could sit down. The pool room echoes really loud. A few kids in there and you want to rip your ears off. On a side note there are a few restaurants within walking distance as well. :) Great place for a one night stay. read more

IF I COULD LEAVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. The day after checking in, my husband was covered in red welts, then we discovered a BED BUG crawling on his arm. Upon further inspection of the beds, we discovered that they were infested with bed bugs. When we asked to speak to the manager, she refused to help us in any way, repeatedly trying to get us to leave and berating my husband for uttering the words "bed bugs" if anyone else was present in the PUBLIC lobby, accusing him of trying to scare guests away when he was clearly just trying to discuss the problem and receive some sort of explanation or resolution for the fact that we will now have to drive all the way home late at night with a small child, then spent an exorbitant amount of money treating our clothes, car, and house so that we don't bring their disgusting infestation home with us. They called police to trespass him and/or have him arrested for simply trying to find some kind of solution, despite him calmly and rationally trying to have a conversation with management about the situation. We will likely be seeking legal action. read more

This place has a crappy lobby and unfriendly staff. The hotel hallways are dark and creepy, the kind of place where creatures of the dark come out. NOT SUITABLE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN. I thought about leaving but my wife wanted to stay and you can't go agented her wishes, especially when she owns the car we took. This hotel is NOTHING like the S Class. I wanted to sleep in it but she wouldn't let me. Next time we are going to a Hilton and I am bringing my Tesla. The hotel rooms don't have a hot water machine. The TV remotes feel cheap and is picky about when it wants to work. WiFi is terrible. It goes in and out. My LTE WiFi was faster than the hotel WiFi. I saw a spider and a picture of Cincinnati. Stayed here during a wedding, and I am pretty sure 85% of the hotel was with the wedding party. Our room was mostly clean, but it didn't look like the bathroom got swept too well, but the rest was fine. While a lot of people were waiting to go to the wedding, we took over the lobby, with our loud voices, mixing drinks, and rambunctiousness. The next morning as the wedding party was distributing mountains of leftover food, we took over again, loud, rambunctious, and messy. And again the staff put up with us. We made a mess of their continental breakfast was really good for a free/inclusive breakfast. I didn't utilize the pool but the kids around seemed to love it. If I was not part of this wedding group, I would have been annoyed by us, but again the staff was super friendly and showed a lot of patience with us. read more

Stayed here about a year ago, the room stunk, so we moved to another hotel. We checked out before 11am, they still charged me for the rest of the week, even thought we already moved. The hotel is located in a great location. Close to the interstate, gas stations, great restaurants (walking distance), Kings Island and Great Wolf lodge. We request adjoining rooms which we got and were able to check in early. Everyone is very pleasant and accommodating. They have a small but nice indoor pool and a free breakfast which was also great! The hotel has been recently renovated which is nice; also no pets and no smoking . Our rooms were clean but my brother in-laws was not so much. It was resolved very quickly and all was good. Our room had a mini fridge microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, and a hair dryer. I would definitely stay here again when in Mason. read more

I loved this hotel! The front desk worker, Dakota; provided the fastest, friendliest service I've ever received at any hotel I've stayed in. Fresh baked cookies were available upon check in and they were really tasty. The rooms were quiet, spacious, clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable and provided a great night's sleep. The bathroom was large and the room I stayed in had a walk in shower. The complimentary breakfast was above average with fluffy scrambled eggs, crisp bacon, fresh made waffles, oatmeal, pastries, fruit and more. If I had to find a negative, I personally didn't like the location of the pool. It was right off the lobby/breakfast area with windows all around. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend highly to others. read more

Stayed here for the Western & Southern Open this summer and it was pretty uncomfortable. Upon checking into my room, a foul murky odor prompted me to ask for another room. The front desk clerk did her best to check us into a different room but we could not avoid the smell, and it took three tries to get into a room that was bearable. The sheets were not very soft and the hotel overall just did not seem up to par with this name brand. Additionally, it cost more to stay there because of the proximity to the tournament. Not sure if our timing was bad as I am not a regular visitor to this area. It is an ideal location right off the interstate for attractions like this annual tennis tournament and Kings Island, but proceed with caution. read more

The staff was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. This had the best breakfast area for the "free" breakfast during our travels. It was laid out in stations so there was no line ups or waiting for things. Two waffle makers so no waiting. A lot of little extras that weren't available at other places gave it a personal touch. We stayed 1 night: April 22-23 2016 - the AC fan made so much noise while it was on. Stayed here over the wekend for a short staycation. I have to say the motel was far beyond my expectations. This is the first motel that I have stayed at that actualy read the check in notes. They were very responsive to our needs and were allways polite. If I ever need a room on Mason again they have my business! read more

This place was terrific!!! The pool was super clean and the staff was so friendly. Me and my girlfriend will definitely be staying again. We had gotten the room called king suite. The king sized bed was amazing comfortable and clean. We also had a jacuzzi tub and that was definitely a nice way to wind down the day!! We couldn't believe it. But if you need anything at all the staff is there to help. The continental breakfast in the morning was really great!!! Probably the best I have had!!
