When we got back late, staff told us to park in other businesses and walk half a mile to hotel. When we tried to address issues with staff member Stephanie, our issues were diminished and no apoolgy was given. Was told that GM Lovely Chandra would follow up with us. As of now, no follow up has occurred. Book somewhere else. Not worth it. read more

Had a nice overnight stay while visiting friends. The hotel is located near the highway and several eateries and stores. The site is currently under construction and this affects the parking lot. The hotel was fully booked during our stay and the lot was limited. Luckily, we found the last spot after returning from a night out, but the car behind us had to park in front of a barricade. The hotel employees were very friendly. Check in was smooth and the room was comfy and clean. The gym was sufficient with weights and cardio machines. The continental breakfast was abundant with lite bites and a diy waffle station. The staff kept the area well stocked and clean. I'd consider staying here again for future visits. read more

When my family visits Kings Island we typically stay at another hotel but as a loyal Hilton Rewards member, we decided to give this location a shot. We arrived around 3:00 on a Thursday and were quickly checked in with a room on the 2nd floor. Room was a studio suite with two queen beds. Room was a fairly large room with a decent sized bathroom. TV was in an awkward spot (never turned it on primarily due to that. Room appeared extremely clean. No ice bucket in the room so I inevitably sent the manager on a scavenger hunt later. Bed was fairly comfortable, pillows were meh, room temperature was good. Breakfast was meh, eggs, waffles, biscuits/gravy. Location is great. 10 minutes to Kings Island, plenty of food options nearby, and close to I-71. Price was approximately 120 after tax. Exercise room was fair too, as the machines looked relatively new. Depending on your needs this could be a good option for you. It's a Hampton Inn so at minimum it's going to probably be 3 stars. read more

do not do business with this hotel. We had a signed contract for a four day event and just before the event we were told we couldn't have the meeting room until 4 o'clock on the first day even though we had a signed contract. They told me that I didn't pay a deposit so there was no guarantee. They had my credit card number and never mentioned a deposit. I was told there were renovations happening. I checked in the day before and I was told they were putting in new carpet. When we arrived on that day, there was another group in that room having an event. And when we could finally get into the room, there was no new carpet. We had been lied to. Our contract had not been honored. We were semi annual customers for this event and clearly they did not value us customers. We are taking our business to another hotel. read more

Housekeeping is horrible. Over a 7 night stay we got 2 towel changes, nothing else. When we complained they blame us and say we had do not disturb on. We were gone all day when we were supposed to get cleaning and made sure the sign was not out. They are more concerned with making it our fault than making it right. Terrible service full of excuses. read more

We stayed only one night but we're quite impressed with the facilities and friendly folks at the desk. Clean, modern, quiet. A couple of issues to note: we were on the 3rd floor and the WiFi was rather spotty. Also skip breakfast. It's just not worth it. Elevators were broken whenever we stayed there and could not get them fixed the whole time. The breakfast was not good and the eggs were watery. The pools had to much chlorine. No ventilation in the pools and was very humid. Beds were terrible. They were hard and had stains all over them. Worse experience in my hotel life and would NEVER stay there again! read more

My family booked a room for an OVR volleyball event that my daughter was playing in. The morning of the event, we got locked out of our room after breakfast. The staff determined the battery on the door was dead and needed replaced in order for us to be able to get in. Unfortunately, the staff had no idea how to replace the battery. Over a half hour later/after being locked out of our room, my husband youtubed how to change the battery, told the staff what to get him, and changed the battery for them. Due to the foregoing, we were late to the tournament and my daughter was unable to play her first game. Not to mention the stress we were under trying to figure it out/get into our room knowing we were up against time. As we were waiting outside of our room, another Mom that was staying came out of her room and indicated that they ran into the same issue when checking in at midnight the night before. One of their maintenance guys indicated on the phone that he is the only one that knows how to change them, and he works second shift. Hampton Inn refused to refund us. We booked to make the morning of the tournament less stressful, but instead, it ended up more stressful. Do NOT recommend staying here if you have somewhere you need to be at a certain time and if you do not want to have to figure out their jobs for them. read more

The room that we had was very big, and had lots of space. The bathroom was also a generous size. And that is the end of the positives and why this got a 2 star. Freshly revamped. Big room, big bathroom, smallish TV. Plenty of charging spots. Comfy beds. A mid-size kitchen area. Good service at the desk. Easy access off the highway. Pool and other amenities. All at a pretty decent price. At the end of a long day you really want a comfy bed and no issues. Too often I get to a hotel with unprofessional staff, things that don't work in the room or bathroom, or other issues, and pay more than I wanted to for something subpar. This place does things right. Edit: the breakfast was very meh. No bacon. Not many choices in general. But, free, and you get what you pay for. There was coffee, and some stuff to fill the hole in my belly and get me down the road for real food. I was charged $450 for a damaged tv which was not damaged. The hotel manager, Oleg, sent a picture of the tv which has a "scrambled channel or weak signal" error. In speaking with Samsung support, this is a connection or cable issue. I relayed this information to Oleg and he would not accept this. I asked for his supervisor and was told he didn't have one. I then asking for the main customer support number for Hilton And he told me to look it up myself. If we broke a tv, we would've let the front desk know and had no issues paying for a replacement. The tv was working when we checked out. We are disappointed with Hampton Inn and the manager's reaction. read more

Disclaimer: I did not actually stay at this hotel. I work with a company that houses individuals after a loss at their home, mostly house fires. A family who was local to the area suffered a total loss house fire in which one individual and one pet unfortunately passed away. The remaining household member was hospitalized due to injuries sustained during this fire. The reservation was cancelled. I called Roy and explained the situation to them, who stated he was the GM. He was extremely rude and aggressive. He stated he did not care about their circumstance because it was a business matter not a personal one. Talk about lack of hospitality.... Additionally, and most disgustingly, it is Hilton policy to have consistent pet fees across the brand. This is always a one time fee assessed on your length of stay. It is NEVER a nightly fee. He tried to charge a $50/night pet fee for a 31 night stay. The TOTAL pet fee should have only been $75 according to the website and Hilton policy. If the GM is rude, aggressive and lacking compassion in an industry that deals exclusively with PEOPLE, then what does that say about this hotel? Avoid it at all costs. read more

Ok let me say this. On my end there was some confusion as I though I was staying at another closer to Kings island Amusement park. I got to this place and the women at the desk was friendly and said coke back later your room will be ready. So I came back later. I got to my room. It was big. Good size bed and the bathroom was amazing. Only down side was the shower curtain didn't go to the floor. The breakfast was the standard hotel breakfast but was decent. Spoke to someone named Roy at check-in. He was extremely rude and not hospitable at all. He was not willing to make accommodations for me to park my RV overnight in his parking lot while I stayed at the hotel. He said he would rather we just go some place else. Booked with the Hilton not far away. Roy said he was the owner to boot. Terrible entrepreneurship and should not be working in the hospitality industry. Will never stay here again. filed complaint with Hilton coorporate but found out he is indeed one of the owners. Brand new, and sparkly! This is definitely a place to stay at. The rooms are gigantic, it slept our family of 5 very generously. The carpet mimicked wooden planks, the desk was huge, TV was placed so you could turn it for everyone to watch. We loved the extra sink, and sliding doors (with large mirrors) instead of hinged doors. Made the room seem that much bigger. The free breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had. The hostess was efficient, and seemed to be enjoying her job. Nothing appeared to be sitting out very long, she kept it hot and fresh. We enjoyed the waffle bar. My only reservation/suggestion is that I hope the cleaning crew actually keeps up with this hotel and it doesn't get grungy. Although our bathroom seemed sparkly.. the bottom section of our toilet appeared that it hadn't been cleaned very well (or at all) along with a section of carpet next to the bed with an apparent crusty stain. I'd hate to see this amazing hotel turn into some of the other run down hotels available. read more

DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 430. This room was listed in the Hilton App as the "best room option" for my stay, but smelled strongly of perfume and chemical cleaners. Initially, I thought the smell would dissipate, but it actually seemed to get stronger throughout my stay. When I asked to have my room changed, the manager told me that he knew exactly which room I was talking about -- that a previous guest had "spilled oils" and that they had "done absolutely everything" but were simply unable to get rid of the smell. So why was the room still being sold by the hotel - as the "best option" no less? The most frustrating part was that the manager told me I should have come down to change my room in the morning (rather than the afternoon) so that he could have resold the room to someone else during the day. Again, why sell this room, if you know there is an issue? Plus, when I went to ask for a room change in the morning, the front desk staff were outside on a cigarette break, and I didn't return to the hotel until the late afternoon. I should not have waited two nights for the smell to go away -- and my room was changed when I requested to move - but why hotel management seems so keen on selling this room is a head scratcher, particularly when others were available. read more

My family and I totally love this hotel. The staff is friendly, helpful and take pride of their slogan "making you happy makes us happy ." The room was super clean and the bathroom products are Neutrogena brand. They were able to accommodate 6 if us in a room, which makes it perfect for traveling families that one to stay together. They serve a continental breakfast from 6:00 to 10:00 am where there is a variety for every one. If you are going to be around the area, you have to visit this hotel, I guarantee you will enjoy your stay there. I totally recommend this hotel. You can also sign up for Hilton Honors and earn points when you book with participating hotels. read more

This is by far the nicest hotel I have stayed at with my husband and 4 kids! It was so clean, modern, comfortable, and quiet! Breakfast was delicious and my kids loved making their own waffles! The pool and workout room were perfect! There was a small mix up with our room upon check in but the gentleman at the front seat was super pleasant and accommodating! Please note that this is more of a 3.5/5 review. We are loyal to Hampton Inns and stay at the chain almost exclusively. We had a 2-night, 2-room stay, in "2-queen" rooms. The price was relatively expensive at $135 before taxes/fees. Positives: Good location near numerous restaurants, the area appeared safe, friendly staff, very good breakfast, strong AC with clear controls, very clean newish room, clean duvet covers and sheets, good pillows were a mixture of soft and firm, mini-fridge, microwave, pool, wi-fi, lots of plugs and USB ports in the room, well-lit with plenty of lamps, little noise from outside the room (even though lots of little-league baseball players were staying around us). Negatives: The bed was too soft for one of us who did not get a good night sleep. There was a musty odor every time we entered (but quickly adapted to). The worst aspect of the stay was the sliding bathroom door that is common to all renovated Hamptons. Not only does it not lock, but the gap between the slider and the frame was so large that a person outside the bathroom could clearly see into the bathroom with a view of the sink, mirror, and the mirror's reflection of the shower. My family shouldn't have to make agreements to not go in the vicinity of the bathroom when it is in use. With a silent bathroom fan that was ineffective at removing steam from the mirror, using the bathroom did not seem private. I brought up my concern about the sliding door to the front desk, and the employee responded that all Hamptons are like that. They are partially wrong. Yes, they have sliders. No, the gap is not always so large that you can clearly see into the bathroom. Also, the toilet paper and nose tissues are cheap quality. There was no safe. read more

By FAR the best Hilton hotel. I've stayed at tons all over the USA and none can compare to the comfort and friendliness we experienced here. Elizabeth, her sibling, and Elizabeth's mom hosted during our stay. They made us feel at home. The pool was warm. Everything was clean. The bed is softer than the one I have at home. The breakfast was good- I don't recommend getting the sausage. I went downstairs to get food from the little store by the desk. I bought two sodas, a pack of cookies, and m&m's. I asked her to charge it to my room. My card was charged $19 and some odd cents. This was my only complaint this stay. I would recommend staying here. It's worth the money- ESPECIALLY if you get Elizabeth's family during your stay. read more

We had the pleasure of staying here for 4 nights. Upon arrival, the manager introduced himself and expressed his desire to make our stay pleasant. It turned out to be extraordinary! All staff members from the front desk to housekeeping to dining personnel were helpful, professional, and friendly. Our roomy suite was immaculate upon arrival and during our stay. I honestly couldn't find any dirt! The bedding was fresh and comfortable. Neutrogena soaps and lotions were a nice touch. The hotel looks like it's brand new, and all furnishings are in great condition. It's beautifully decorated in a trendy yet comfortable manner. The pool was fun, and its water temperature was comfortable. A Keurig brewer was in the room, but we enjoyed the coffee (dark and medium roasts), tea, and hot chocolate that are available all day near the lobby. Breakfast buffet includes many healthy options including hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, variety of yogurts, cooked oatmeal (not packets), fresh fruit like cut pineapple, mango, strawberries, and melon, apples, and bananas. Cold cereals, make-your-own Belgian waffles, milk, juice, breads, pastries, bacon (or other meat option) and egg, cheese, and bacon bagels were also available daily. The selections changed a little every day, and it was easy to enjoy a delicious breakfast in a sunny, spacious dining area. I am pleased to recommend this hotel.
