He's very preoccupied. Trying to multi-task way too much. Just as we're getting somewhere, he's got to run to the other patient. WTF? Pay attention to me and let's get this ball rolling. I'm ready to go to sleep. I'm typing this while waiting for him in my room. We haven't done much at all and I've been here 50 minutes and counting. Just burning time as they say. Still waiting. Almost 1 hour. Straight to the end. Sleep study went well. I'll bump up my original 1 Star to 2 Stars now that we're done. By the end of the study, Tai had a more personable attitude and acted in a friendly manner. It took him a long time to warm up. My overall recommendation for this sleep study facility is to try and humanize your sleep staff. This is not a business transaction. We are talking about getting the best nights sleep possible in the future. Don't talk down to us and don't patronize us. We're here asking for your help. Try wearing a bit of compassion next time. You'd be surprised how well that will fit you.

My main gripe about this place was the amount of paperwork i had to fill out when i came in for my consultation. No joke, it is about 20 pages. I didnt even finish it all. In the end i had 5 pages left and they said it was fine and accepted it as is. Why even have so much paperwork if it doesnt even matter? On the night of my study, there was more paperwork that asked a lot of the same questions as the original stack of papers. The study itself went alright. The technician was nice and very detailed in his explanation of the process and equipment. I was able to fall asleep even with the ridiculous amount of sensors you have to wear. The room was clean and comfortable. This was my first sleep study so i dont have a comparison. I haven't had any issues with the billing or scheduling staff as other reviewers have mentioned. I go back tomorrow for my results. Will update this review if needed.

There's a kind of warm energy buzzing through it. When I walked in, a few staff members immediately checked in with me--offered help, asked if I needed anything, and seemed like they meant it. It's the kind of place where you don't feel like an inconvenience for just... being there. Dr. Barton himself? Warm, sharp, unhurried. He asked specific questions, zero judgment, no rush--just actual conversation. You can tell he likes his job and takes it seriously. Also? He's a lot more personable than you'd expect from someone who's double-board-certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology. Where to begin. We started out with a unique situation. Our son spent the first 6 months of his…read morelife literally sleeping ON me and never slept more than 3 hours at a time, until he started waking up every hour or more. We were both against sleep training and thought it was best to just push through this phase. But after weeks of waking up every hour and no end in sight, we were exhausted in every sense of the word and just not functioning well. Our son, who is literally usually the happiest baby alive, was a cranky emotional mess like his parents. Out of desperation, we hired a sleep consultant (not through Pam Neese) and had an absolutely HORRIFIC experience. I was so put off by sleep consultants. But then after another couple miserable sleepless weeks, my boyfriend found Pam Nease Sleep.  We worked with Sophie and I cannot speak highly enough of her. After a horrible first experience with a sleep consultant, she blew me away with her attentiveness, thoughtfulness and dedication to helping restore our family. She was with us every step of the way, answered all of my questions thoroughly and even helped with things I didn't think of. And contrary to what I originally thought, the phone calls were sooo valuable! I needed that support and reassurance. Now at first, I couldn't believe the price and thought there is NOOO way we are paying so much for a sleep consultant- ridiculous!! But let me tell you, you get what you pay for and the service they off at the level they offer it at is worth SO MUCH MORE! This is coming from someone who was totally against sleep training and thought the $300 I paid the other consultant was too much. Ha!  Sleep training was not easy- it was a Rollercoaster of emotions and bad nights. I hated it to be honest. But I would do it again (only with the help of Sophie though lol)! Because now our son sleeps through the night, takes long naps consistently and is back to being the happiest baby alive. (It turns out sleep training doesn't ruin your baby or your relationship with your baby!!) And as new parents, we are much happier and healthier, better rested, back to working out and spending more time together because now we have the energy. Moving forward, I know we have the tools for great sleep and so does our son. Priceless.  Pam and Sophie, I want to thank you both for helping my family. It is very obvious you are passionate about the work you do and helping struggling families like mine. We are forever grateful! My only regret was not finding you first.

I really thought my kids (2 and 6) were going to stump our sleep consultant, Jessica. We literally…read moretried every single trick in the book (co-sleeping, sitting, lullabies, CIO, even making the room freezing cold so they would stay in their beds) but my kids were still taking almost 2.5 hours to fall asleep very night after lots of threatening, screaming, and crying. We hesitated for 6 months because we didn't want to spend the money on something that wasn't guaranteed, but we finally gave in when nothing was getting better and I figured I could at least say that we tried everything (and maybe they'd return my money when they realized my kids were "lost causes" or the worst they'd ever seen? It was that bad...). Jessica was very friendly and understanding. She spent a lot of time asking questions about each child. Even she admitted that we had tried everything! I think some of the big tricks were setting our kids up for success even if it felt like we were doing the opposite (like moving the kids to sleep in separate rooms) and CONSISTENCY between both parents on the bedtime routine (from MOTN wake-ups to consequences). The biggest value to me was having Jessica there for specific questions at each phase of the sleep training process. You can read all the websites and books, but with no one there to answer your questions when your kid throws you a curve ball, you end up questioning/doubting yourself and, in our case, spouses may want to respond in different ways. Jessica was always flexible with us if we weren't comfortable doing something and was great with pivoting the plan to accommodate the progress of each kid. By the end, she really knew our kids and was as equally proud of them as we were! It took about 12 weeks but both of our kids sleep in their own rooms now and are quietly and willingly in bed by 8pm (just like in the movies!!!!!) I honestly never would have imagined how much my kids completely turned around like this! It is a LIFE CHANGER. I was having so much mom guilt and I literally DREADED bedtime every single night. Now the whole family knows what to expect for bedtime routine, my kids know how to fall asleep on their own (which is an important skill that they will have for the rest of their lives!), and they're overall happier kids with less meltdowns, outbursts, and midday crashes. I VERY HIGHLY recommend Pam Nease Sleep (and Jessica!) even if your kids aren't as bad as mine. Initially it felt bad/weird asking for this type of help because it's like admitting that we didn't know what we were doing and having to reveal all the wrong ways we were doings, but there was never even a judgmental tone from Jessica. She was so patient and kind and understanding through every step of the way. And there's nothing wrong with asking for help! Each child is different and teaching kids how to sleep is actually NOT innate or obvious, so if you're at your wit's end and about to lose your @*!@$@&@# like I was, I highly recommend hiring a sleep consultant and Pam Nease will not disappoint!

I've invested in a lot of wellness approaches over the years. Nothing has been this precise, this personalized, or this effective. Dr. Licata's level of individualization is unlike anything I've encountered in the wellness space. We're talking granular: brain mapping, protocol design, and ongoing calibration built entirely around your brain, not a template. He doesn't guess. He measures. My trainer Mateo brought that same precision to every session. He was dialed in, consistent, and genuinely invested in my progress. The kind of practitioner who makes you feel like you're their only client. What sealed it for me? The remote option. I was able to train from home without sacrificing the quality of care which, with my schedule, was the difference between doing this and not doing this at all. If you're dealing with brain fog, rumination, focus issues, or anxiety: stop scrolling! This is the place. Dr. Licata has built something that is both world-class and deeply human. His team reflects exactly that. Vital Brain Health gave me my sense of self back. Full stop.
