Additionally, I have difficulty laying prone for any length of time, the staff and the endodontist seemed puzzled by this, and frankly exhibited a little impatience with my need to keep my back elevated to relieve pressure on my hips, which are severely arthritic. I understand that they need access to my mouth, but I can't be in excruciating pain during the procedure, either. The endodontist went right in with the shot, no gum swab to numb up the area first, and said they don't do that for this procedure. Every other root canal in my life was preceeded by the gum swab, so I was puzzled by this. When he got in there, he was pretty rough, pressure on my front teeth for leverage and a fair amount of pinching the cheek. I will say he was damn quick about it, and shortly after he was done, the regular dentist put my crown on. All in all, I was fairly discombobulated by the whole experience, and I don't think I'll be coming back.

Timber dental was a great dentist office to go to when I was living in the area! The hygienists and…read morereceptionist were always very friendly. The one thing that bothered me a bit was that I would always feel pressured to schedule my next appointment fat in advance and reassured that it was no issue because I could always reschedule, but was always given the reminder text or call on a Friday while working and then they would close for the weekend, leaving me without time to reschedule within the grace period, and resulting in some cancellation fees. Totally understand why these are in place and that I should be better about remembering my appointments, but sometimes I just forget as many people do I am sure!

Dr. Hutchinson is so kind and gentle so if you are an anxious person when it comes to the dentist, I highly recommend him. Dr. Whiteley is not as kind and sensitive toward anxious patients and I felt he automatically and perhaps prematurely directed me to get a root canal, and when I came in for my next visit because I hadn't gotten the root canal yet, Dr. Hutchinson instead placed a crown and it has been fine since, so I won't see Dr. Whiteley anymore when I make appointments. The staff are amazing, and allow me to book appointments via email which is much more convenient for me. All my dental work under Dr. Hutchinson has been beyond expectations and I return because of him! Dr. Spencer I have seen on 2 occasions and he is also very good.

I've been going to this dentist for about 5 years. Dr. Jung and his staff have always been great…read moreand never tried to talk me into services I didn't need. Even when I didn't have insurance, Dr. Jung's prices have been super reasonable. About $200 per year for cleanings and x-rays twice a year, which was about what I would pay for insurance outside of my employer. One time I did have a cavity that didn't hurt. Dr. Jung showed me the proof with x-rays and it only cost $95 to fill. The front desk staff has been super friendly and greeted me by name for every appointment. I am particularly happy with their new dental hygienist, Maureen. She was super nice and took the time to clean my teeth very thoroughly. She didn't use that water pick thingy (magnetostrictive ultrasonic scaler) to clean my teeth, which I find to be annoying and occasionally painful. She just used the normal scalers and was super detailed. But it didn't take long at all. And we had a good talk. She seems to understand I can't talk while my mouth is being cleaned and didn't ask questions until I could respond, which I appreciate. I go out of my way (about 30 minutes) to see this dentist. He's great.

All of my experiences at Mountain Range Dentistry have been exceptional, except for one. The…read morehonest, and state-of-the-art dental care that is provided at this office is superb. I would avoid seeing Dr. Schubert, though. Dr. Schubert is incredibly condescending, rude, and unfair. If you have dental issues, she explains them to you like you are a moron, or a five-year-old child. Also, if you struggle to get time away from work on a week day, drive 1/2 an hour one way to see a good dentist, miss your exit, and still arrive within the 15-minute grace period of your appointment time (even if it is a 3 hour, important appointment, and the last appointment of the work day.) Dr. Schubert will send you away. She would rather cost one client hours of their work day, and hundreds of dollars, than leave work even one minute past the hour. She seems power driven. I like the other doctors who seem to genuinely care about their patients and their practice. I highly recommend this office as long as you avoid Dr. Schubert.

Everyone has gone above and beyond. I definitely feel I'm in good hands and among friends. The office is comfortable, from flowers and books to read. In response to Barron Family Dental's reply:…read more Before my appointment, I took deliberate steps to confirm that Barron Family Dental was in-network for my specific plan -- Cigna DPPO Advantage. I provided my physical insurance card to your front desk, explicitly asked for verification based on that plan, and was told more than once that your office and the treating provider were in-network. After receiving a significantly higher-than-expected bill, I contacted Cigna directly. During that call -- which occurred shortly after the appointment -- a Cigna representative and I searched their system for Dr. Abigail Nye. At the time, she was not listed under any Cigna network. Not just for my plan -- she simply did not appear in their provider system at all. Now, after the fact, Dr. Nye appears in Cigna's directory -- but only under the Total and Total Plus plan networks. She is still not listed under Cigna DPPO Advantage, which is the plan I have. Yet your office's own PDF -- linked on your website -- explicitly lists "Cigna DPPO Advantage Dentist" under accepted in-network plans. That was part of what influenced my decision to book with your office. The issue here is not just confusion over plan names. It's about negligent misrepresentation. I presented my insurance card, asked your staff to verify network status for my specific plan, and was assured that I was covered. Cigna's billing and coverage records -- both then and now -- do not support that assurance. I was billed at out-of-network rates because the provider was not, and is still not, in-network for my plan. Even if your network affiliations have since changed, that does not retroactively justify what happened at the time of my appointment. Patients have a legal and ethical right to rely on what they're told by a provider's staff when verifying coverage. If I had been informed honestly that the provider wasn't in-network, I would have made a different decision. This situation has caused avoidable financial harm, and I've submitted documentation to the appropriate regulatory authorities. The inconsistency between what your staff communicated, what your website claimed, and what Cigna confirmed is not acceptable. Your website says advantage dentists and I have a ppo advantage plan. Your desk people literally took my card twice and assured me I was covered, intentional or not if it wasn't untrue, that doesn't excuse it from being a point of negligent misrepresentation. This truly is a clear cut small claims case. As well as I have transcripts of the call logs with Cigna dental. Whether or not the dental board wants to waste their time with it is one thing but that doesn't mean that what I'm saying is incorrect. In fact I have a feeling a small claims court would see otherwise.
