This has a really authentic Yelp feel already -- I just tightened the flow, cleaned up a few…read moresentences, and kept your personality/storytelling style intact. Orbit is a piercing shop, skate shop, and boutique located in San Leandro, California. It's a small local business that has been run by the same owner, Sal, since 2001, and now his son works alongside him -- a true family business and honestly part of what makes this place so special. Today my son and I stopped by to have our piercing jewelry changed, and as always, the experience was fast, friendly, and incredibly clean. I was genuinely impressed (yet again) by the hygiene practices and professionalism throughout the entire process. There's a reason I've been coming here for over two decades. I first started coming to Orbit around 2000/2001 with just two piercings. By 2005, I had 28 piercings, and now I'm down to 8 -- but Orbit has remained my go-to through every phase. The shop stays busy, and for good reason. If you go, be prepared to wait, especially during the after-3pm rush or weekends. But the level of knowledge, the environment, and the overall experience make it completely worth it. One thing I really appreciate is that they genuinely care about their clients instead of rushing people in and out. It can get hectic at times -- one person may start helping you and another may jump in a few minutes later -- but they work together so seamlessly that it feels like one continuous experience. To say we'll be back is an understatement. Stay tuned... more to come from Orbit soon!

I came in needing a full "head-to-toe" setup for winter sports, and Brandon provided the kind of elite, professional service that is rare to find. His technical knowledge of snowboards, skis, and bindings is extensive; he doesn't just know the specs, he understands how the gear actually performs on the mountain. What really stood out, however, was his approach. He took the time to listen to my specific needs and concerns, making me feel both seen and heard throughout the process. I walked out (after 2.5 hours that flew by) not only with the right equipment but with the confidence I needed to get back out there. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a beginner, I'd recommend Brandon C. to anyone. He's a true professional who knows his craft inside and out. Thank you again Brandon C and SB and NIN.

Buying snowboard boots is usually a daunting process for me because of my wide feet, but Brandon made it easy. His knowledge of boot fit and foot shapes was incredible, and he patiently walked me through what would work and what wouldn't - no pressure, just genuinely helpful guidance. I ended up with a pair of K2 Maysis boots, took them up to the slopes this past week, and they were excellent. Best boot-buying experience I've had. To Sports Basement management: you've got a star on your hands. Take care of him. Five stars all around.

If you can even call it that. I have returned the product and have not gotten my money back. I do not want them to try to fix anything as I do not trust their cobbler knows what they're doing. Unless I'm interested in ending my career. I'm not one to usually do any of this but I want to warn people to NOT BUY from SP-Teri EVER. As I know others have been having issues with their workmanship.

My feet don't fit the stock Riedell and Jackson boots, and I've been disappointed after visiting other shops. During my visit to A&G, George (the G of A&G) fitted me in a split-width SP-Teri boot, which is narrower in heel than ball of feet. I couldn't believe how well they fit! I felt like Cinderella finally putting on my long-lost glass slipper. As a beginning skater, the skates were more expensive than I was hoping to pay, but I know they will make up for it in the reduction of pain and hopefully faster improvement. If the SP-Teri's don't fit, they also have Riedell and Jackson brand boots. Definitely check out this skate shop. I'll definitely come here again for all my future sharpenings and skating needs.

The staff definitely carry that "too cool" Supreme vibe, so don't expect warm customer service, but that kind of comes with the territory. One thing to note: the area outside can be a little rough. There were quite a few unhoused folks around, and you definitely need to watch your step on the sidewalk. If you're a fan of the brand, it's worth checking out, just be prepared for the surroundings.

I shook my head no, wondering where this could possibly be going. "Crocs feel exactly the way you think they would feel just by looking at them." That's how the Supreme store feels. Exactly how you'd expect, exactly what you'd expect, exactly who you'd expect. And it's not that it's some torturous experience or anything, it's just not necessarily worth a visit aside from a drop that you wouldn't be able to obtain online. But, you likely wouldn't even be able to find out if what you're after is in stock in-store or available anyway because staff so rarely answer calls made to the store.
