My fiance was also looking to get some work done from here for her wedding dress, but was asked to bring half of the money without even an estimate for how much half would be. It's quite pathetic how many businesses in Wimberley just assume you're trash if you don't have a copious amount of disposable income at any given time. Would definitely recommend anyone else than Kays Alterations to actually provide decent customer service. Even to people who have spent their whole lives here.

One of them was a $400 dress and it was just laying out there wrinkled up. The second time, I called on Tuesday and asked if they could shorten a dress for a wedding that coming Saturday. He assured me they could do it. Showed up and the dress hadn't been touched! AGAIN. Now it's Saturday, I have to leave for the wedding in one hour and I have no dress. I'm also pregnant and can't just run into the store and pick one up real quick. Just don't come here. It doesn't matter how much time you give them, they don't take care of your clothes and they don't get them done in time. ***update: He was able to get my dress done in time for the wedding. Sad thing is that after one use of the skirt the soft tule around the waistband was coming out. Very disappointing considering the amount of money I paid. It is hard to find a tailor in New Braunfels but I will not use this place again. I'd rather drive into San Antonio. I'll say that the gentleman doing the tailoring was nice enough even though he barely said a few words.

Pants are always heavy starched for work. picked them up and they were pressed only. Not a big deal. Called comet to explain and asked if I could bring them back so they can be heavy starched. The lady insisted that's how my wife told them to do it. My wife said that wasn't the case but regardless of the misunderstanding I wanted to bring them back so they could be done how the notes are on file. Got a call back minute later by a different lady and she was upset and being confrontational about that's what your wife said to do. It got to a point quickly I asked if it's that big of a deal should I just go somewhere else and she said yes that be best. It's obvious she is having a bad day I get it but hope she reads this and provides better service going forward.
