Been coming here for 2+ years now. Never had an issue until today and over a misunderstanding. Clothes have a barcode on them so it's easy on the people working there and the customer. Pants are always heavy starched for work. picked them up and they were pressed only. Not a big deal. Called comet to explain and asked if I could bring them back so they can be heavy starched. The lady insisted that's how my wife told them to do it. My wife said that wasn't the case but regardless of the misunderstanding I wanted to bring them back so they could be done how the notes are on file. Got a call back minute later by a different lady and she was upset and being confrontational about that's what your wife said to do. It got to a point quickly I asked if it's that big of a deal should I just go somewhere else and she said yes that be best. It's obvious she is having a bad day I get it but hope she reads this and provides better service going forward. Don't think what I was asking was unreasonable and people do have misunderstandings but she wouldn't let it go. First comment I've ever left so that should say something to you if you read it. read more

Very close to our house, so super convenient. They take great care in dry cleaning your items and I love that you can receive a text when everything's ready. read more

Customer service has drastically declined over the last few months. They ruined my wife's blouse and tried to tell me "it was like that". There is no way the front should throw all the garments in a pile and scoop them up, especially when you are paying extra for "delicate hand washing". I will not be returning. It's infuriating to be essentially called a liar when the damaged garment was intentionally hidden between other clothes. Bottom line: don't take anything "nice" or that you care about to this cleaner. Oh, and don't get me started on the food on the counter, big coke ready to stain your laundry. read more

This location pulled through for me today. i work for a large corporation and my CEO needed some items done same day. Although the location has discontinued the same day service they were able to come through in stellar fashion. Personnel was polite, attentive and understanding. I am truly grateful for their efforts. I highly recommend this location. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. The manager at the Seguin Ave location is horribly argumentative, rude and unprofessional. We will use Tip Top Cleaners from now on. read more

Comet Cleaners ruined my custom drapes. They were two years old. I took them in to be dry cleaned. The fabric could be dry cleaned or washed, cold water and air dry. When I got them back they were 5 inches too short and the lining was longer than the drape. Obviously, they dried them. They will not reimburse me for the drapes nor will they reimburse me for the cleaning fee. They kept talking about UV rays. How could that cause them to shrink? Do not use this cleaners. Only interested in money and not customers. read more

Terrible and Awful outcomes and customer service!!! I would only take your clothes to this dry cleaning facility with the expectation of getting your clothes ruined and no responsibility for their actions! The facility ruined a brand new Brooks Brother sweater---8 weeks later I am still getting the runaround from the owner!!! I just wasted over $200 on my sweater and gas $$ combined trying to get the issue resolved. Both FM 725 and Hwy 46 are ran by the same owner who has no respect for veterans! Take your business elsewhere! read more

The drive up window was convenient for both drop-off and pick-up. The cashiers were friendly and helpful to this first timer. I had damaged my knee and didn't have to leave my car! They did a great job cleaning my Professional Santa Suit . The only minus is they are not open on Saturday, which is a scheduling problem for those of us that work 9 to 5 out of town. read more

My pants are not back after 3 days of be ready at 5. And the counter person can not tell me where my pants are

I am missing an item. I have called to get help in finding it and was told they would look and call back but no call back or response. I have lost trust in them returning all clothing and getting help when item are not returned. read more

called for information on alterations, they don't do this anymore will continue to use them for dry cleaning.

Good job cleaning. Bad job with communication - they said our items would be done by a certain time and they would text us, but days later, I never got the text. read more

Place says 8-6 on yelp but 7-7 on google. Which one is it? Also zero personality of anyone that works there. This place is right by my house but ill drive farther to have a better experience. read more

Terribly expensive ! Comet charged me $5.57 a piece where as Rick's Cleaners charged only $3.39 a dry cleaning piece. So I paid over $13 MORE for just (6) pieces of dry cleaning. Great quality service, terribly expensive !! I will NOT be back....... read more

Complete trash! They are private owned and not apart of the corporate franchise! They have the worst attitudes and are completely lazy and entitled! I feel sorry for someone who has a job they hate! Do not waste your time and make sure your clothes are squeaky clean BEFORE you drop them off! Dont worry about getting them checked in or a receipt because they dont do that! Expect to have items lost and oh yea you will be charged 25$ for dog hair! There is no sign saying that but if you're ok with making the rules up as you go, being treated like dirt and wasting your time go right ahead! Glad they showed me they are lazy entitled miserable individuals!!! Hopefully since they were complaining about being overworked while having a lobby full of paying customers this will direct traffic! We went all the way back to san antonio just to deal with better ppl! I would have payed the cost if they would of acted professional! There isn't anyone here that has a higher education than 7th grade at best! read more

WORST experience dealing with the owner of a business in my life!! An entire order was lost that I dropped off a month prior. Due to work travel requirements my clothes normally stay in for longer than an overnight period. When I made them aware that I was missing the order they said they would look in and see if they could have been misplaced. Shortly after I received a call from one of the owners who went on to explain how "He does not lose clothes" and followed by it has only happened once or twice . He then went on to say that I may have misplaced them in my home or my car. After explaining to him that I went through my home and they are nowhere to be found, I further explained that I was Positive that they were dropped at his location. He continued with "Mam that was over a month ago." "We don't lose clothes." I didn't understand the relevance of that statement when my items we clearly missing and after continued frustration and unprofessional responses from him I simply asked "What am I supposed to do if you cannot locate my order?" His response was "I guess you could buy some more clothes." I was astounded at the lack of professionalism and concern for a customer who frequently used his services and had no motivation to lie. He clearly could care less about me as a customer or my missing items. The conversation continued by text and only added fuel to the fire. Surprisingly when I picked up my final order from them someon else's items were separated from their order because they first made sure it wasn't mine (which it was not.) I will never do business with them again! read more

I'm so happy they've opened a Comet Cleaners here in New Braunfels. I used this company faithfully when we lived in San Antonio and I was never disappointed. Always great turnout of my work uniforms and great customer service. They also have same day service!! I'd recommend anyone looking for a great dry cleaning service to come here. You won't be disappointed! read more

As an update to my prior comments. Please be advised that the business principal did (in -fact) contact me. It seems that some internal miscommunication was the underlying reason for their previous non-reply. At this time I have no negative issues with the company, it's staff, or the quality of their work. Moreover, I now (without hesitation) strongly recommend Comet Cleaners of NB, TX. for your laundry and dry cleaning needs. read more

I rarely ever write poor reviews. However, I do NOT recommend this store. Very bad customer service. I talked to a gentleman when I dropped off uniform shirts to get fixed. The man told me he was unsure they could be fixed but would send it off to the alteration lady and they would give me a call if they couldn't. Fast forward to yesterday (Friday) I called the store to see if my order was ready. The man said they had not arrived just yet and said they would be ready tomorrow (Saturday). My husband went to pick up the order and the man stayed right at the computer did not even approach the window and said the order was not there and he was unsure what store the uniforms were at. Did not give any further information nor did he try and figure out the location of my order. My husband then gets a call and they were able to locate them. He went to pick them up again at the same location the man works and was charged $71. I will NOT be going back. It's way over priced and extremely bad customer service. I highly recommend everyone to go somewhere else. read more

I am choosing one star as there is no option for zero stars. I dropped off a leather coat for cleaning that had only been used for 2 winters only. I was very hesitant to leave it because of the unprofessional behavior of the people doing the intake. I was told that a third party ... The Leather Guy out of Houston would pick up the coat and return it to Comet in 6 weeks. I was assured of the high quality of his work therefore I left the coat in their care. I just picked up up the coat. The coat had changed color and texture. The tag in the coat had been destroyed with strings hanging from the hem. The pockets were puckered out, ink marks and dirt remained. I now have a coat that looks like it should be considered as a donation. I paid Comet $48.90 to have a coat professionally destroyed. The customer service is horrible. DO NOT trust them with your leather. read more

I am really very impressed with the excellent service comet cleaner gives through their door to door pick up and delivery system I'm just very thankful for it during this time because I prefer not to go out and be around other people until the it gets safer due to the virus they offer excellent service and I really enjoy the free pick up and delivery read more

We've tried to use this comet cleaner location with the owner Chris over and over again. The first time we were sent the wrong persons clothes and the last time they sent our clothes to the wrong people. I noticed a few favorite items are missing, needless to say we will be switching locations for our weekly dry cleaning! read more

First and LAST time I go to any Comet Cleaners! WORST experience by far. Was told my items would be ready by a certain time and guess what it wasn't. They had enough time to take care of TWO items. I was really hoping they would do a great job since the location was fairly new. I'll be sure to let my friends and family know not to trust Comet Cleaners with their items. Maybe if I would have dropped my items off a week in advance they would have it ready by the time promised and time I paid for. They didn't even offer to make it right. Smh. read more

I dropped off a jacket to have the zipper replaced and I was informed that I would receive a text once complete. The jacket did not require dry cleaning and the ticket stated that it would be ready in about 3-4 days. A week went by and I inquired about the jacket and it was not ready. The staff stated that there was not a sweater at the cleaners for a zipper replacement and I informed the staff that it was a jacket. Another week went by and I inquired again; I was informed that it was not ready and that I would be called back with a status. Another 2-3 days went by and my husband went to the cleaners in person and the staff member called the main cleaners to inquire about a sweater (which was clearly not what was given to them; it was a jacket). After my husband left the cleaners without the jacket or a status I was called by the manager who stated that the zipper could not be found locally but was ordered via Amazon (2-day shipping). The manager stated that as soon as it was received the zipper would be replaced and it would be rushed to the cleaners in New Braunfels. However, that never happened I had to inquire again (4 days later) and I was informed by the staff member that the jacket was not ready. He informed me that he would get with the manager about the status of the zipper and give me a call the next day at around noon; the phone call never came. Now, it has been almost 3 weeks since the jacket was dropped off and I called again for a status I was informed that the zipper was received and the jacket would be available the next day. When my husband picked it up he was informed that he would receive a discount for it taking so long, it was an entire $1 discount, and he paid $22 versus $23 for a zipper to be replaced. I would think if your business did not uphold your word on getting it completed within 3-4 days and you took 3 weeks I would think the customer would not be charged at all or at least given the item at half price. I will never take anything to Comet Cleaners and I will continue to make the trip to Randolph Air Force Base Cleaners in Universal City where I know they uphold their word and if there is an issue with your dry cleaning it is discounted or at no charge. Horrible Cleaners!!! read more

We had a fire in our home. I was going through a box of coats from our hall closet when I discovered a special denim jacket we bought our daughter when we saw Beauty and the Beast on Broadway around 25 years ago. The jacket had been well taken care of but it was pretty dirty and smelled of smoke something awful. I took the jacket to Comet and it came back in great shape! When I tried to pay, they would not hear of it. They have a customer for life! read more

Comet Cleaners is the best! They do a great job! I will continue to be their customer! Thank you!
