The staff was very friendly and explained everything extremely well. They definitely "managed expectations" as we often quote in the AF and informed me how long the zipper repair would be; there is typically a 1 week wait-time because they're quite busy with all the work requests that they but since I was not in a hurry and have a spare to wear so I did not mind. After picking up my pants the following week, I have discovered that the wait was worth it. They repaired one of my favorite scrub pant's zippers seamlessly. The price they charge for services are extremely fair and reasonable. Though they weren't able to tailor the size of my winter jackets because the pockets were too close to the seam-line, they offered a DIY solution for free. What more can you ask for? Each pair of pants I had hemmed in the past cost me $20, for each pair which is an outrageous price, but I need scrubs for school. I thought I would drop them off and do the same thing as before. Chris seemed bothered and annoyed by my business so I asked for my pants and bag back and he changed his voice and started mocking me, a would be customer who entered his dry cleaners. Tip Top today (August 3, 2026) charged me a $15.00 storage fee for one shirt that didn't even cost $15.00. I asked that they should have called me prior to when the storage fee was to go into effect. They said they called us several times. I asked them to prove that they called us prior to last week. They refused to attempt to prove any prior calls to us. I stated I would never be back, and they said that was fine with them. No, I'm sorry Sir or any comment like they wanted to keep me as a customer. I could understand if I was in the habit of leaving my dry cleaning over 30 days on a regular basis. This was my first time that I forgot. I would have expected a one time exception and waived the fee. I guess they make a policy of not calling before the late fee goes into effect so they can make that extra money.
