Lots of tall people. Bathroom is clean and a decent size. Parking was $20 with valet but if you're lucky, you can find free non-permit needed neighborhood parking nearby. The comics were very nice and there was no heckling or roasting. A very pleasant wholesome experience with a few raunchy jokes for the "Chocolate Sundae" event. Sometimes the music was a little too loud and I would have appreciated subtitles as you can miss a few words with how the sound system is. We went on a Sunday and it was 80%+ occupied. The two drink minimum isn't super enforced and it's a server going around with the little payment machine card-only. It would be nice if tea and coffee were an option for the non-alcoholics.

Comics were great which is why it sucks that the latter half of our time was lackluster, we knew going in we would have to purchase something , but one gin-tonic (bombay) a ginger beer , a single pepsi and two waters being 75$ is outlandish by just about any standard. Come for the show but watch your wallet and drink heavily before hand to avoid sticker shock & always email your receipt My one caveat is i was thankful some of the staff was mindful and got the people in front of me to stop recording.

Just stick to the overpriced water. The show we went to was great but ran almost 4 hours which is probably my fault for not checking times, lol. Will definitely try to find a shorter show next time. If you get there early, there's a $2/hour parking lot just right next door.

Two of the main acts didn't actually come so the lineup was different, the main headliner was still ON the board and didn't come and another act also no showed, both large names I was excited to see and the main point for going and purchasing tickets. They also put our phones in yonder bags which isn't really my favorite but if it's a big name and they want to be sure people aren't recording, fine, I GUESS. However.. there was no big name because both of them didn't show. I had somewhere to be at 10pm, and there's ZERO clocks around this place, phone is locked up, servers are nowhere to be found, it can get irritating just feeling like you're locked in a prison cell with 0 idea of the time. Finally tracked someone down, asked about Whitney Cummings, was told she wasn't coming, and then followed up with the time and it was already 10:10. They also over serve which is probably why they're locking up phones so you loose track of time and keep buying drinks. Guys next to me were PLASTERED, one guy left over and over again to throw up, the other guy was laughing like a hyena and screaming, the other friend had his head down on the table completely knocked out, and last friend went to lay down on the benches and knock out. Spent over $150 and didn't even see the comedians I paid to see. Really disappointing.

It is a great intimate venue with lots of history and great sound. We parked about a half mile away and a public lot by the West Hollywood library, parking was only 12 bucks and it was a nice short walk to the venue and no traffic getting g out when we left the show. The event was sold out, and we got there right when doors opened. The line out front was not too long and security kept everybody moving really quick. Full bar and food inside. The main room is tiny, so anywhere you stand you will have a great view of the performers. I definitely plan to come back to see another show here, wish I had caught shows here in the past... Great venue.

Lights up. Queue…read moresound. Troubadour open those doors, the show is about to start now. From 1957 to 2025/present day this historic music venue theater has housed so many greats and legends in a magnitude of way. It's been featured in many films and shows and brought so much audiophile cheer. I haven't been to the Troubadour in over a decade, so in some way stopping in to see Young Gun Silver Fox (from the UK) with opening act Great Vacation (local Los Angeles) and a awesome DJ set in-between performances by Dustin De Leon was even more epic. I mean even thee Carole King (singer, songwriter, actress, grammy winner) was there rocking out in the audience a few feet away from my boyfriend, our friend Chase and I among a few other familiar locals I knew in the crowd. The design is very cool with a designated smoking area on the side walk away from their line where they will check you thoroughly from security to ticket scan to ID. I try to keep my pockets light for show days as most venues will. Safety first. They don't allow any outside food or drink, but the prices are more than reasonable inside. Once you make your way in the main bar is to the left of the entrance, with merch tables set up for acts of the night. in the corners. You can also find the first set of restrooms here. The service is stellar and the bartenders have a lot of personality and good energy. We had a few beers/craft brews and a ranch water hard seltzer throughout the night, but they have a full bar and solid selection of beverages on draft, limited tap, limited wine. You can hang in here for a bit, seating is limited around the bar, but mellow. Lots of history on the walls, signs and decor in here. Arriving early you can make your way up to the loft and enjoy the show from here as well. They have limited seating along the balcony, an additional bar upstairs. You can see so awesome views of the street life if in the main room. The Troubadour is on the very outskirts of West Hollywood with Beverly Hills literally starting write across the street #SoLA For the first hour we found ourselves at the back bar area inside the main showroom not to far from where you order food ( a good variety of options including vegetarian and vegan eats) We had a good view of the stage for Great Vacation even as the room filled closer to YGSF extended set. They definitely gave the people what they wanted. After nearly walking off stage at the end of an incredible set we chanted and got four more songs :D I still geek out on the movie Rocket Man filming here and recreating Elton John's 1970's performance in this very space. The sound, acoustics and production here is stellar. Iconic, rustic, unforgettable. Capacity for the Troubadour is around 500, with staff and performers just to give an idea of how little big this legendary space is. Additional Restrooms in the corner of the main room near a wide staircase heading to the balcony and loft areas. Parking in the area is garage recommended or metered minding restrictions which typically end by 8pm or on Sundays don't apply. Doors typically open by 7pm for most shows, but can vary slightly (though rarely). Music is a universal truth and at the Troubadour is always rings truth.

Once you enter, there are a few spaces to hangout before the show. The vibe was very eclectic - like I wouldn't be surprised if they had a tarot card reader in some dark corner (they didn't btw haha). There were a couple of cash bars set up. Everyone working at the venue was pleasant. The theatre itself was intimate in size. It was simple yet classic. They gave plenty of verbal countdowns to showtime. They have a strict no photos, videos, electronics use policy in the theatre during the show which was fine by me. I did drive up from San Diego solo to see Rory Scovel. He put on a great set! The vibe was great here. I met a bunch of cool people before the show. Definitely recommend getting a show in here.

The inside is like old theater seating. Seating is usually first come first serve, so I recommend getting there early. I was front and center tonight and I couldn't believe it - very rarely are you that close to performers of any kind. Today was my second time being here. The first time I saw Judd Apatow and David Spade and friends - although I love them, Judd was going for a very laid back approach reading off of his iPad lol. Today I saw Vanessa Bayer, Kyle Mooney, and Jenny Lewis was her surprise guest! The show was so funny and Jenny's guitar playing and singing were angelic. There's a lot of food places in walking distance so you can grab your ticket and eat dinner before the show. Highly recommend going if you're on the fence! Try it!
