My husband is bedridden and his live tv keeps going out. It's been that way for many months. I can't remember how many phone calls and technician visits. Today a technician finally arrived just after 10 am. Live started freezing up just after 9 pm. Comcast was supposed to come out three days ago. They canceled my appointment because the signal coming in to my apartment is strong. They didn't call or email me to share this information. I had to call them. Now we have to wait four more days for some incompetent technicians to come out. Last time his tv was completely out for eleven days. Wouldn't have been that long if the first technician that came out knew what he was doing. He got frustrated and said that he had to return the next day to finish. I called customer service to verify if the guy was telling me the truth. They said if he promised to return, he would. He didn't. I had to make another appointment that was five days out. When that technician showed up, he couldn't quickly locate enough working boxes. Most of the equipment the technicians have on their trucks is refurbished. Whoever does that for them, does a very poor job. Every tech that has come to my home complains about the refurbished equipment. This company should not be in business. They do not care about their customers. They should call themselves "fini". The French word for the end or finish. Unfortunately, I had to leave an undeserved star. 2 days ago our service was suspended due to the storm. Call me crazy but I don't see you one Xfinity or Comcast truck out there for the last 2 days. And when you look at the outage map it only shows one spot. I'm just curious where they're at and what they're doing I haven't had any sort of communication nothing. Their tech drilled a hole straight through our wall and into the inside of our house that ruined our headboard. What makes it worse, is he knew what he did and said nothing. When I had went into the room two days later there was cable on the bed and a beautiful hole in my bed and wall. This mega corporation is just pure Evil. Steer Clear of this company if possible. I set up service with them to include cable internet and tv. Set up auto pay with a credit card. They charged my card for payment which did go through and then turned off my service saying they didn't receive payment. Funny thing they had only turned off the tv signal and not the internet, but when I called, which was via VOIP to square this away they turned off my internet in the middle of my phone call. I had to go down to this office wait in a long line and I wasn't even apologized to for their mistake, which they did admit to. I switched to Dishnetwork for my TV and have been satisfied. Unfortunately, Comcast dominates the high speed internet access for most of greater Savannah. Even at that they throttle download speeds which sucks while watching videos or downloading music. It's a shame you can't give a company ZERO stars... or NEGATIVE stars. Comcast would definitely qualify. We have rental property on Tybee Island and had to have two additional outlets hooked up. So, because it's a 4.5 hour drive from Atlanta, we called Comcast to arrange an appt. They did show up on time but refused to do any work, stating that they had to have "written authorization" from the HOA in order to proceed. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot??!! Wouldn't you think they would have BROUGHT THIS UP ON THE PHONE when we initially called to make the appt? (... Never before has it been such an adventure to get cable and Internet set up in our home. We recently moved from CA where we were Comcast customers and have just sat through our fifth straight no show from Comcast in Savannah GA. My wife and I have talked to comcast repeatedly and every time we call they sound like they care a little less. They keep rescheduling and then today we had a breakthrough when a technician called saying he was having trouble finding his way here and said he'd be at our house in about 20 minutes. 40 minutes later we called him back and he apologized and said he'd been re-directed by dispatch to another customer....... REALLY? Then the same guy calls back and says another technician is coming but if we don't see him by 6:30pm, he isn't coming. He also mentioned he wouldn't be able to answer his cell after 6:30pm so in other words, please don't call again. Got a call for a 'promotion' to add speed from 100 to 300 Mbs and also the Basic TV streaming service (Xfinity Stream). All for an additional $5.00. Seems reasonable to me so I authorized the change. Turns out the Xfinity Stream only provides what already is over the air for free and all other channels need subscriptions. My Internet speed did not change either. Called 2 weeks later to revert to the previous package and was told that cannot be done as I had a package called 'Legacy' and itself was a promotion. That promotion no longer exists and if I did go back to that package it would be a further $5.00 on top of the package they were currently promoting. The result is that Comcast will not resort back to the package I originally had before they conned me into the current promotion. They have no shame! Warning, avoid the package Xfinity Stream it is a waste of money. read more

We pay for high speed internet, but can never Skype our families or stream Netflix because it is so slow. Seriously, we have been dealing with this all year but were hesitant to change because we are moving back to AZ at the end of the year. That's not even the worst part. We are leaving GA on the 16th of December. We called to cancel our service FOR THE 16TH. We were very clear that we wanted to keep our internet until then. Once they got our new billing address though, they went ahead and disconnected our modem. Today is the 10th. That is 6 days early. We were told it was because of our request to cancel - but we're still going to be charged until the 16th. We are calling billing tomorrow when they open to discuss this, but it is absolutely ridiculous that they cancelled well before the date we gave them because we decided to find a new service in AZ. Technician was professional but after seeing they charged me $60 to replace their own equipment I called. The lady kept saying since they replaced a cable in my house it was my fault...they replaced the cable first and it still didn't work so the lady changed out 3 of their routers and one finally worked. The lady on the phone wouldn't listen and just kept saying it was on my end so I got the charge. Never had issues with this company before and have had the service a couple different times in the different states I was in. read more

After a week, 4 phone calls to Comcast, 1 no show on Wednesday, July 23, 2 subsequent expectations not met, and still no service, you can imagine my frustration. The ticket number I have been assigned is 023718994, and is specific to the cable being down from the utility pole to my home. Below, in sequence of events, is an outline for what has transpired: * 7/21 - Reported the down cable, and the expectation provided was that Comcast would be out on 7/23 to repair the cable connection. This did not happen. * 7/28 - Spoke to Patrick, and he reset expectation that Comcast would be out on Tuesday, 7/29. He also stated that he would escalate the ticket to try and get someone out on Monday. Neither expectation was met. * 7/29 - Spoke to Lynn, who provided me, for the first time, a ticket number. She stated that the ticket had been escalated and confirmed that a technician would be out today, 7/29. She also said that I should expect a call within two hours. Again, expectations were not met. * Now at 4:41PM, and after a very frustrating conversation with a representative who was equally frustrated with me, as well as Michael (her manager), I am told that the ticket scheduled ETA for repair is 7/31. While all the representatives have been very polite, apologetic, and empathetic, it does not change the fact that nothing has gotten done. I am still a week plus without service to internet, cable and phone. And it is very disconcerting to be told that "there are no further options to escalate for assistance" and "there is no corporate number you can call, corporate does not want calls from customers." We called to file a claim and received a letter 2 weeks later that said the company asked the employee if he took the DVR and he said "no". They dismissed our claims. These people are idiots!! $500 and one new DVR later, Don't leave any service rep unsupervised in your home or place of business! We learned our lesson the hard way. Calling customer service I got hung up on twice and offered no help three times. Last call I was so mad i wanted to talk to a manager to cancel service and they wouldn't even let me do that. One thing after another with this company. Just moved to Savannah from Ohio and in the week we've had this service they have caused nothing but trouble. I've been on the phone with them 10+ hours in a week. HBO Go is in our package but isn't offered to set up on our PS3? Why???? I gave them all of the model names and numbers for our modem and they said it would be compatible with their equipment and it isn't. A week with no internet and $30+ tacked onto our Verizon phone bill for going over our data because of lack of Internet. We've needed Internet for getting directions, finding doctors, banks etc. so frustrated!!!!!!!! read more

This Company got me to switch over from century link on the promise that my internet cap would be 600GB for 105 MBPS service which cost $120 a month just for the Internet. I was told the lower Internet tiers cap out at 300 GB. After I switched I capped out at 300 GB which they said is the level cap for all internet levels regardless of speed. No one in their Company is willing to honor their agreement of 600 GB even though the phone conversation is saved in their records. Good Lord, they cannot do anything right. I've been using ATT DSL (their top-of-the-line service for 42/month) and Comcast continually called me to switch. Finally I gave in. (I already had basic cable, thought I'd consolidate bills) I've had cable internet before, I'm sophisticated to computers and internet setup, but since I got Comcast, the internet service has gone down countless times requiring rebooting the modem. Sometimes every 15 minutes or so. The Cable TV service goes down sporadically as well, sometimes for 5 minutes, sometimes for an hour. Calling Customer Service for Cable service always results in being to a line with a bunch of loud tones, then it hangs up. It's done that for days. Calling Customer Service for Internet always results in a reminder of how much I owe on my current bill, then a 'due to high call volume we cannot take your call', then hangs up. Luckily, I haven't disconnected my ATT service. The DSL is fine - I can stream netflix, never EVER had it go down in two years. My anger with Comcast is resulting me in disconnection of the new internet service AND Cable TV. Screw em. They relentlessly called to 'sell me up' and the minute they did they hung me out to dry. So they're losing a customer. Period! read more

I ordered the "double play" August of last year, entering into a two year contract with the promise of a $100 Visa rebate card. I never received it. I have called the rebate department who told me to speak to Comcast, who had me call Visa, who had me call Comcast. This went on and on! So I have accepted that I will NEVER receive this rebate. If you like intermittent internet connections that are not nearly the speed you pay for and cable that cuts off daily with no way to get a resolution because the customer service line does not work, then I highly recommend Comcast. Terrible customer service is the true calling card of this company, and oh yea.... They charge you to send an " Engineer" to your house to fix the problem. 6:30 on a Saturday night, Comcast tech shuts off internet and cable for my apartment and all the other apartments in my building. No idea why. After fifteen minutes, I ask him when it will be back on. He tells me it is back on when it clearly isn't. Fifteen minutes later he's leaving and I ask again when my cable and internet will be back on. He tells me again it is, when clearly it isn't. Acting like a teenage girl he huffs and puffs and enters my apartment to find...IT'S NOT ON. He proceeds to fix it while pitching a hissy fit. When I ask for his name and ID number, he refuses to give it to me. Acts like a teenage girl telling me the problem was my fault. What? And turns out, Comcast doesn't care; they can't track who it was because he wasn't originally here on a service call to my home. Right. Sure they can't. Can't wait to get back to DirecTV. read more

Internet service disconnects daily requiring unplugging and restarting of router. Technician has been out on two occasions to no avail. Tv service is also having issues. The cost of Internet service is $20 higher than other markets (Atlanta). Calls to customer service often yield no results as they think sending multiple technicians out for the same issues will yield a different result. Funny thing is I've only had issues with comcast since I moved to savannah. It's my suspicion the quality of service is correlated with the level of competition in the market, which is nonexistent. read more

I tried calling and was on the phone for 3 hours being transferred to 20 different Habibs and Rashods which would transfer me without even telling me they were going to transfer me! After waiting on hold for 30 mins and finally being able to speak with a supervisor, she put me on hold to review the notes in my account, her phone was disconnected and she NEVER called me back!!!! So now I am in the office and spoke with someone face to face, she told me apparently the supervisor cancelled me account!!! I never told her I wanted to cancel my account because unfortunately it is the route we want to go with because they don't have a contract. Because she cancelled my account there are now no notes for them to pull up. Horrible horrible horrible. read more
