They have no problem collecting your monthly bill, but don't date yet to get any service of them. You can no longer speak to anyone. You have to talk to a bit that has predetermined customer statements. You cannot say what you want. After about a 1/2 hour, you'll get transferred to a "live agent" but you still have to text/chat. Once that happened, you'll be transferred to someone else a MINIMUM of 3 times only to end back with the same department you started. Don't bother asking for a supervisor or manager. I had a terrific experience at the Comcast Center on SE 10th. We had an issue with our bill going up after the end of promotional items that were part of a package. I arrived at the center and waited less than five minutes. My number was called I was greeted by Gaby, a Comcast associate there. Once I explained the issue I was having with my bill, Gabby explained to me what was on my bill and showed me how we could solve the issue. Gabby was courteous, knowledgeable about all of the Comcast products that were on my bill. Gabby is extremely professional and is a great asset to Comcast and should be commended for a job well done. I like Tens of thousands of people was affected by hurricane Ian. In the aftermath of the storm all utilities were communicative and answered their phones. Xfinity did none of that. In fact Xfinity ghosted all of south west Florida for at least 10 days. Not a word. It has now been 16 days. Three days ago roughly 96% of my block was restored. There are a handful of people still without Internet on this block due to a downed xfinity wire. While I know Xfinity is busy restoring power to those of us in Southwest Florida their job in my area was left in complete. I can't possibly think that it would take more than 10 minutes to put that cable back up. However Xfinity refuses to stop by and do a 10 minute job for another 6 days. While I pay hundreds of dollars every month for their services. I am a nurse who works from home who depends on reliable Internet service I chose Xfinity and I chose to pay top dollar to ensure that I have the best of the Internet. I work with disabled patients who depend on disability checks who must meet guidelines in order to keep receiving these checks so they depend on me to get their paperwork which is done on the computer in a timely manner. Of course the company I work for has stepped up but they too are now overwhelmed because I'm not the only nurse performing these services in southwest Florida for this company therefore many of us have been affected which in turn has affected my patients my company and myself. I contacted customer service because my bill increased from what I agreed to when I signed up for service in August 2018. I was told that the equipment rental prices increased in January 2019, even though my equipment is the same equipment that I started service. The supervisor Glen #1294804 told me that Comcast can raise their rental prices whenever they want and it isn't covered by my contract. Therefore, they can change your bill whenever they want to, and if you aren't happy their response is "too bad". If you decide to cancel service then they will hit you with a cancellation fee. I've been trying to get in contact with Comcast to find out where is my refund. I was told from Ken that I would receive it within 4-5 Business days. I returned my equipment on Feb. 8th 2021 and should have received my refund by Feb. 12th according to him. I just got off the phone with Comcast and wanted to know where my refund was. Golde told me it was processed Feb. 28th, 2021 and it would be 3-4 weeks before I received my refund. I had received a bill stating my refund and it said I would be refunded within 30 days of the date my account was disconnected and my equipment was returned. I had returned my equipment on Feb. 8th 2021, still no check. I've been on the phone for over an hour asking to speak to a supervisor and Golde told me he was on the phone. I kept asking to speak to him and also for his name. She wouldn't give it to me. She told me he would call me back after the meeting, today. Golde kept changing her story every time I asked her a question. At one point she told me I could go to the Comcast store to pick up my check. I asked her for the phone number and she gave me the same number I just had called. She would not give me the store number so I could check if what she was saying was true. Comcast is a big ripoff and I would never recommend it to anyone. We've been with them since 2004 and had nothing but problems with them. All what they keep doing is upping their prices and giving you very poor service. Try calling customer service . It's a Big JOKE! After almost 20 years with Comcast, they somehow changed the name and social security on my accounts, although they still have my address. On one of my accounts I am not receiving the bills. Because they have changed the name, they will not give me any information on the account nor tell me how to get my bills. THey said I have to go in person to change it (even though I did not change it in the first place, they did). But all of their locations are closed, so there is no possible way to go in person. I tried calling again but there is no way to speak to an agent. In the meantime, I am sure that when they don't receive payment, they will not hesitate to cancel my service and report me to the credit bureaus. My wife and I came here to return our cable equipment and receive the new plan with material. We were paying I believe around $95 and went to the lowest plan $60 or $70. I like our new plan and what ever we can save is great. Internet and cable work great. I think we have just basic cable and 25w for internet. I believe that's what we down sized to, and it works great still. This location is right down the road from us and when we get there we grab a ticket and wait to be called. Which doesn't take long at all. Super fast actually. The employees here are super friendly and I know a lot of customers treat them like dirt which is sad. They are not the high end they are the low just trying to help and do their job. Even though they have tough days i see them still smiling and being so respectful caring and helping with the knowledge they have and provide if people have questions. They are awesome and they all work hard to provide great customer service. They have flat screen tvs inside and lots of chairs while you wait for your turn and again it doesn't take long at all for you to be next. Very nice place and easy to get what you need as in cable boxes cords or anything with that material in the service and very easy no hassle returning material too. I love it. Worst company ever. Never get internet from them. I had an outage in my area for over a MONTH and every time I called they told me it would be over tomorrow, tomorrow never came obviously. So I decided to cancel my service (or lack there of they didn't even give me service for a month ) and they charge me for two more months and tell me it will be refunded to me in a check in the mail in a month. Paying for the highest speed internet service that Comcast offers, but lately having a lots of problems with it, Smart TV and desktop PC does not recognize that we have internet service. Therefore, been calling Service Center to get problem remedied. Talk to a nice lady from their Honduras Service Center, and she sets up an appointment for today between 9 a.m. and noon to move box to a more central location location in house, and to replace box due to their Advanced Technician not being able to read it. I don't hear from Comcast today, so I call at 11:30 to see when I can expect them, only to find out, that appointment was canceled by Comcast and changed to 14 days from today! Comcast sucks ass. After trying for several hours a year ago to suspend while I was being stationed overseas, I finally got upset and said "forgot it, I want to CUT OFF my service. Then I left the country. MONTHS later I get a bill for over three hundred dollars, that was sent to the wrong address, and of course they never e-mailed me even though the had my address. So this vacation I try for over seven hours to get my service turned back on as apparently it wasn't cut off, just suspended for a period of time. After seven hours on the phone over a three day period they transferred me to someone in the U.S who said my account was cancelled! So I ask her then why was I billed (Bilked?) for over $300 a few months ago and why did the techs sp;end 7 hours messing with my box? She had no answer. COMCAST SYSTEM IS NOT SECURE! Someone hacked my Comcast account in Cape Coral, Florida, twice! The first time it was for $200, including the Mayweather fight for $99. After that, I received a credit and I put a PIN on my On Demand and Pay Per View, to no avail!! $440 worth of charges in one month to a home where no one had been in residence. I had autopay so the $600+ bill was directly deducted from my account and Comcast will NOT give me credit for the fraudulent charges! My house has an alarm so I can prove that no one was in the house at the time so essentially they are calling me a liar! Their equipment is faulty and yet they are keeping my money; this is theft and I have contacted the Better Business Bureau.
